Would be good to see how this stuff has lasted, if the metal work is still protected and if there’s any signs of rust coming back. Thanks for the great videos 👍🏼
@@aaanton11 8:30 minutes in clearly no axle stands, makes me cringe watching. Not criticising just wanting you to be safe. I had a car move on a jack before I had time to get stands in place, not pleasant.
Super helpful! I've just bought Lanoguard and have 3 questions 1. What type of wire brush are you using, steel or brass? 2. I've seen video of a guy inserting a drain pipe cleaning hose attached to jet washer to clean out dirt inside rocker panel / car frame, and now I'm thinking of buying one for my nilfisk jet washer, but i'm not sure this might be overkill , what you think..? 3. I've watched your video on changing wheels (brilliant video) where you calibrate the torque by standing gently on the lug wrench to tighten them back up. In this video you use aluminium grease on the threads before putting the wheels back on and I'm wondering if you can apply the same method for tightening them back up? I've heard some say that if you use anything like grease the wheels may fall off..
Steel wire brush, I don’t want to jet wash but you can, you just need to be sure that it has dried out before you apply. You can grease the wheel nuts with no issues, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Thanks for the vid Ant! You make a good salesman as I just ordered some Aqua steel for my own citybug. Quick question, can I coat on top of the Aqua steel with Lanoguard or is it paint only?
Yes did it in this video BMW 318D ABS Ring Replacement, Both Sides. How To Diy, E91. Same as 320 118 120 etc. DTC. ua-cam.com/video/rBlTHK29x8c/v-deo.html Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

I've just taken the plastic trims and flaps off mine near the arches. Trap so much mud and moisture, save rust too.
👍🏻 Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
