Pau is a fricken animal on drums here. And she's clearly having fun. I think the fact that they love what they're doing is why we in the Army love them so much.
Live version of this is much better than the studio version which is typical with nearly all their songs. Dany's vocals are on a new level. Ale's bass here is monsterous. Pau Cam showing Pau doing amazing Pau things is a nice addition. This is from the Pepsi Center concert in October 2023.
This was a major concert for them. 8,000 fans in attendance. 10 years as a band. In their home country. And....all 3 had the flu. Every fact is impressive.
The Pepsi Center concert was the biggest of The Warning's 10th anniversary celebration concerts, in Mexico. They were headlining and played 2 sets - at least, for a crowd of over 8k fans. You can't tell it in the video, but Pau is ill and she said that her voice wasn't 100%. Yet, despite all of that, the energy from the show is off the charts.
yep! they were all three sick but at this point, Pau was worse than Dany and Ale... i think by the next weekend they were pretty much fully recovered from that bout of flu...
TW has several styles of rock but they are invariably pure rock!! With their structure, their breaks, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, their endings… The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all of this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection and predominating sophistication. And each of their pieces can be very different, but always with all the TW flavor. It’s more than clear that these sisters have no limits. They are the queens of the hook, of the riff, the contagious rhythms, the catchy melodies, the sublime vocals, the insurmountable harmonies and the ambiguous but deep and powerful messages… The new masters of rock: The Warning. Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽 🤘😁✌️
THIS is a stadium anthem by a stadium band. If the "music press" wasn't obsessed with disposable "rap crap", the next Warning album would go straight to #1.
They're Wonderful and Powerful as Always !!! '' Give Me Something To Believe...Oh Oh Oh Oh...In This Hell You Call A Dream '' Amazing !!! The Warning Forever....I Love Them !!!!
Totally agree with ya!!! They've gotten sharper, its only logycal the more shows, the more houres of practice makes perfect!!!! And yet there is a lot to come from them!!! Wich its exciting to see where they tae us on their jouney!!!!! Las patronas (the bosses) have done it again, rock on morras!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡
Mate, this song should be right down your alley! Heavy, harmonnic, with next level vocals from Dany, killer bass lines, Drums fills and guitar riffs. Go for it man!
PLUSH ! They toured with THE WARNING along with HOLY WARS last year before the Girls .left for the European Tour! 4 piece R&R Band from The U.S that are Amazinly talented awesome themselves & are also friends of The Warning 🤘😎
There have been some aweful fancam vids of HYCAD . This is just bloody awesome. Dani vocals at the end are awesome. Glad to see you back mate! I suspect this song is one of those that , once you start it carries you along ( kinda like Billy Idol's White wedding). It almost plays itself!

This is rock from on high. Performance is so good from 2023 Pepsi Center Mexico City. Hopefully they'll keep releasing performances like they did for the Teatro Metropolitan and eventually the entire show.
This song live is amazing! They are playing tonight, 5:30pm CST, at the Vive Latino festival in Mexico City and Prime video has been showing the live feed from the festival. Hopefully that will include The Warning's set since they play the main stage.
As a fan who witnessed the release of some of their earliest videos...seeing this makes me emotional. They've truly become the rock stars those young girls had dreamed of being. The live version just doesn't get old. It's so good!
hell yea that was off the chain, couldnt agree more, this might just be the best performance i ever seen from these girls, how does it keep getting better, just when you think you cant get any better the bar raises 2 notches, awesome reaction, thanks!!!
What a fantastic band.. Dany, Dany, Dany, what a special voice.. all 3 of these young women are friggin Bad A$# .. They're starting to show off a little bit.. it's f-n cool.. WOW WOW WOW.. 🤯💥🤘🎶✌️

The word is badass TW are great live they enjoy performing on stage and it's contagious AF. Dany's vocals are next level good in this one thank you this was great. Looking forward to more releases from these shows this was awesome. 🔥⚡
Ale is a spector artist and after her other Bass NS-5XL. EMG 40DCX pickups, 18v HAZ preamp. 35" scale. with a colour named Ale's Inferno" (you may buy that signature bass with that colour) She play with that blue bass (Spector NS-5XL USA 5-String Bass Guitar - Hyper Blue)
The "Ale's Inferno" bass isn't technically a "signature model", but you can order one in that exact configuration (including chambered body for weight reduction). The new Hyper Blue is the exact same configuration except for the woods used. It was gifted to her by a long-time fan and quasi-mentor named Thomas Illgen.
Love this band. Also appreciate the fact that you, unlike others, give the screen to the video. The person reacting is not what I want to see. I want to enjoy the video. Keep it up.
Knew you would love this! I read somewhere that Dany hits an F5 on that belt! She just keeps pushing and pushing her voice to amazing heights! If you haven’t heard of FREEZE THE FALL (they are new, and huge fans of The Warning)-they just dropped a song called DAUGHTERS OF WITCHES (check out the Music Video. By the way, they are a trio of 16 year old vocals/guitar; 15 year old-bass; and 15 year old drummer. Their following is called The Cold Front! FREEZE THE FALL
Kudos on the no butchering with interruptions "reaction" format. Nice to have one of the now best reactors doing the future of rock. Looking forward to the journey!
I remember some 4 decades ago, seeing what, at the time, was considered the best band on the planet. During a 3 night stand at Madison Square Garden in September of 1980, I saw Queen. They'd been touring for a while and had quite the catalog of music. They were pumped to play the Garden, and Brian decided that he wanted his parents to see him play. Surprisingly, they never had before. He flew them to New York on the Concorde for the shows. His father finally got it. These young ladies get better every time I see a performance of theirs. Lzzy Hale said in an interview after watching them, when The Warning toured with them, she had to up her game as Dany was amazing. Dany threw down the gauntlet here.
So crazy to see these are the same people that were the little kids in those videos 10 years ago. Plus the YT clip I stumbled across of Dany playing a Christmas song solo on sax at her school when she was, I'm guessing eight or nine years old. It's so easy to totally respect these sisters- professional, polished, confident, and such great people- beautiful and humble. No Diva arrogance- they are rock angels.
Plush is a band that The Warning has promoted in the past, and they have opened up for Disturbed. If you like 80's style metal, I stumbled across a band called Cobra Spell. Another all girl band that really rocks. Frozen Crown is another one that I found while exploring a rabbit hole on UA-cam. They are an Italian symphonic metal band. The lead singer of that band is incredible. Maybe you already know about some or all of these bands, but you did ask for suggestions.
Love it. I could listen to this Live Version 24h a day 😍👍 I'm not saying the Studio Version is bad, I like it too, but in my opinion this Live Version blows it out of the Water 👍
from Blabbermouth, Dany notes, " *Hell You Call A Dream* tries to express a feeling most musicians find hard to express. When you're touring, you experience the positives, the negatives, and the whole spectrum of emotion all at once. It's about how something you love so much can be something that also weighs you down, but you continue to do it out of love. It's fulfilling, but it's tiring." in the 3point5 interview on twitch, Pau commented about this album being the closest they've gotten to the type of music that she would listen to every day... apparently they intended for this music of theirs to sound like this with the processing treatments the songs have applied to them... it is all their art and their form of expression (TEDx2017)... ===== both versions of *Hell you Call a Dream* hit me quite differently... the studio one hits me deep in the feels... like i'm in a factory that is running at full tilt with the huge cacophony of sound where nothing is clearly heard but some things do stand out... like the whole time i'm in there i'm feeling anxiety, apprehension, fear, and more that things are not going to work out as desired... the project is going to fail... i'm scared, i can't breathe, i want to throw up... where's that 70 crates of parts and materials that need to be assembled? where are the 30 people who were supposed to be here yesterday to assemble it all... am i going to have a nervous breakdown before i get to perform my job? the whole project absolutely must come together or i've totally failed through no fault of my own... yeah... stuff like that... the live hits me like a punch in the face... i can hear more of what's being said, feel those deep bass notes in my soul, and the anguish in the lyrics... yes, i do also get those feelings of anxiety, apprehension and all the rest i described above but it is not as severe... both renditions bring the onion ninjas around and fighting them can be quite distracting... so yes, i absolutely _love_ both renditions... they are, to me, basically identical twins with some notable differences between them... ===== for me, the hard, full industrial sound heard in the studio rendition of HYCAD is quite relevant to the feelings and emotions one gets at times... considering what HYCAD is talking about, think about how, when you are involved in a project that you are excited for and, when being close to starting it, how hectic and chaotic things can get... you're expecting 70 crates to be delivered on time, intact, and then assembled by 30 people who all need to be available on time... the chaos, apprehension, anxiety you may feel... a feeling so strong and maybe to the point of overwhelming you where you get lost, feeling so sick, cannot eat, and need a minute, just one freaking minute, by yourself, to breathe but you cannot due to the timeline and demands of the mantle you are wearing... a mantle of your own choosing but one that seems to be getting heavier and heavier over time... TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
I'm a big Warning fan! Great reaction! You might want to check out "Freeze the Fall" a young new band out of BC Canada. They just dropped a new video called Daughter of Witches. It's pretty heavy!
You may like Nightwish and/or Epica. For Nightwish I'd recommend you start with either Ghost Love Score (Wacken 2013) or Romanticide (also Wacken). For Epica, try Consign to Oblivion (Paris live) and/or Kingdom of Heaven Part 3 (Their Omega Alive virtual concert during the pandemic). Enjoy. Both are reactor friendly, and you shouldn't have blockage issues. Both bands are symphonic metal. Epica is a little harder.
The biggest followings with loyal fan bases I can think of are 'Nightwish' you will always get a lot of views for Nightwish reactions, especially if you start with 'Ghost Love Score' live at wacken. 'Ren' is huge in the reaction space, but he does alot of rap stuff and artistic think pieces, though he is great on guitar and does rock stuff too. He is loved by his fans because he has been battling a debilitating illness for many years and still managed to be successful. But if you check out his old band 'The Big Push' they did a lot of covers of lots of different songs, like song by Sabbath and The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley etc. Also he is independent so might be easier to react to his videos. But its very hard to find a band with such a loyal fanbase, the reason is that The Warning have given so much back to the fans over they years. We have watched them grow up, so its different to most other bands who arrive fully formed.
The Warning... fantastic Band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great channel friend! It's amazing to me even that they are on my short list of only a handful of albums I can listen to every song. Some songs, of course, are more melodic and introspective mixed with hard, head-banging, and that's what's wonderful about The Warning. I wish we all could learn more about their humble parents; any other parents would be having their own faces in the camera, being awful stage parents, taking their money, jealous of the girls- no- not Dany, Ale and Pau's parents. That's real love and why The Warning is so darn powerful- you feel that passion.
Justin, Another rocking band - "The Warning" are playing with "Band Maid" in Japan in June, they have a loyal following and a great catalog. Try "Don't You Tell ME"
I love that you could, at least with headphones, (3:18 ) after the highnote in the last chorus from Dany hear clearly Ale singing. Ist a little difficult because she sounds very similar to Dany. In my case i can hear it only on my left ear.
there is only 1 thing I can say that is a bit negative about this song HYCAD, it's too short , I wish it was a little bit longer , under 3 minutes in heaven is bit downer, this song lift my soul and want to stay up there a bit longer
This is possibly the best rock song that I ever heard in the last 15 years.
Dany's voice is on another level now... Ale with a heavier bass sound and Pau as always without mercy on drums.
Once again reinforcing my belief that The Warning is one of the very best live bands on the planet!
Live is The Warning's superpower, the stage is where they belong and where they really shine, like the stars they are.
Pau is a fricken animal on drums here. And she's clearly having fun. I think the fact that they love what they're doing is why we in the Army love them so much.
agreed 💯
Best song for 2024...
I agree why Pau is so happy, she knows HYCAD is a gem.
The joker reference is perfect, because he would smile just the same when melting faces and blowing peoples minds.
Live version of this is much better than the studio version which is typical with nearly all their songs. Dany's vocals are on a new level. Ale's bass here is monsterous. Pau Cam showing Pau doing amazing Pau things is a nice addition.

This concert was at the Pepsi center in Mexico city in 2023 with a crowd of 8000+ Their biggest audience up to date.
largest _headliner_ audience... remember, when they opened for the Foo Fighters, there were 50000+ in that stadium in the pouring rain 😉
@@WaldoKitty Yes correct forgot the headliner part Waldo 👍
Their biggest audience headliner.
Or Tecate Pal Norte in Puebla Mexico
55,000 🙌🏽🤟🏽🇲🇽

Don’t look now but TW just leveled up…again!
I think the word your looking for is confidence
I call it swagger. They have a lot more confidence and their own individual swagger.

Her "angry" voice especially at the climax / end is what makes this sound so freakin' awesome! Love it!
I dont know if Ale was playing a bass or a diesel locomotive, but it hit just as hard. I wondered if Pau was vibing with the audience feedback.

Love it. I could listen to this Live Version 24h a day 😍👍
I'm not saying the Studio Version is bad, I like it too, but in my opinion this Live Version blows it out of the Water 👍
from Blabbermouth, Dany notes, " *Hell You Call A Dream* tries to express a feeling most musicians find hard to express. When you're touring, you experience the positives, the negatives, and the whole spectrum of emotion all at once. It's about how something you love so much can be something that also weighs you down, but you continue to do it out of love. It's fulfilling, but it's tiring."
in the 3point5 interview on twitch, Pau commented about this album being the closest they've gotten to the type of music that she would listen to every day... apparently they intended for this music of theirs to sound like this with the processing treatments the songs have applied to them... it is all their art and their form of expression (TEDx2017)...
=====
both versions of *Hell you Call a Dream* hit me quite differently...
the studio one hits me deep in the feels... like i'm in a factory that is running at full tilt with the huge cacophony of sound where nothing is clearly heard but some things do stand out... like the whole time i'm in there i'm feeling anxiety, apprehension, fear, and more that things are not going to work out as desired... the project is going to fail... i'm scared, i can't breathe, i want to throw up... where's that 70 crates of parts and materials that need to be assembled? where are the 30 people who were supposed to be here yesterday to assemble it all... am i going to have a nervous breakdown before i get to perform my job? the whole project absolutely must come together or i've totally failed through no fault of my own... yeah... stuff like that...
the live hits me like a punch in the face... i can hear more of what's being said, feel those deep bass notes in my soul, and the anguish in the lyrics... yes, i do also get those feelings of anxiety, apprehension and all the rest i described above but it is not as severe... both renditions bring the onion ninjas around and fighting them can be quite distracting...
so yes, i absolutely _love_ both renditions... they are, to me, basically identical twins with some notable differences between them...
=====
for me, the hard, full industrial sound heard in the studio rendition of HYCAD is quite relevant to the feelings and emotions one gets at times... considering what HYCAD is talking about, think about how, when you are involved in a project that you are excited for and, when being close to starting it, how hectic and chaotic things can get... you're expecting 70 crates to be delivered on time, intact, and then assembled by 30 people who all need to be available on time... the chaos, apprehension, anxiety you may feel... a feeling so strong and maybe to the point of overwhelming you where you get lost, feeling so sick, cannot eat, and need a minute, just one freaking minute, by yourself, to breathe but you cannot due to the timeline and demands of the mantle you are wearing... a mantle of your own choosing but one that seems to be getting heavier and heavier over time...

You may also like another independent band Voice of Baseprot (VOB) 3 women from from Indonesia. School Revolution OMV is my favorite.
They’ve played for years, yet start at the beginning with Band-Maid’s “Thrill”.
Also, I will suggest anything from the band PLUSH.
I love that you could, at least with headphones, (3:18 ) after the highnote in the last chorus from Dany hear clearly Ale singing. Ist a little difficult because she sounds very similar to Dany. In my case i can hear it only on my left ear.
They are a Live Band
there is only 1 thing I can say that is a bit negative about this song HYCAD, it's too short , I wish it was a little bit longer , under 3 minutes in heaven is bit downer, this song lift my soul and want to stay up there a bit longer
Play it again, and again and again, etc. 😊
I think someone once said that about Dull Knives 😂
@@MattS-p8h it's on loop hahah
