Bruce Jenner is a former Olympian and reality television star on the reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Jenner reached fame and success with a gold medal win in the decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Canada. By winning the decathlon title, Jenner brought the Gold back to the United States from the Soviet Union during the Cold War, making him a American hero. Jenner used his Olympic success to launch a career in TV, film and most recently reality television. Following years of success with Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Bruce has most recently been under scrutiny as to whether or not he is undergoing a sex change to a woman.
There’s been speculation in the media, rumors across the blogosphere, and talks within the Kardashian family about Bruce Jenner’s sex change wishes. Really because I feel like most people suspected something was off. There were always rumors since the start of the show that he was transitioning into a woman and that continued for years. But it wasn't because he revealed the secret to anyone, it's just people thought he was very feminine and so people started joking about him turning into a woman. And then it actually happened.

I don't like him changing himself into a woman. I honestly feel sorry for him. Having identity issues like that for so long, must've been hell. But changing your sex like that is not a good way to cope. Especially when you already have so many things in your life established and you're already in your late sixties. It's HIS body, HIS identity issue, HIS choice. so it does matter in the long run to him. clearly he wanted it done before he dies just to experience it even if he is already in his 60's. and he was already aware of the fact that he could die during the process and it's risky, he didn't care. experiencing this is as important to him as experiencing something like bungee jumping off a cliff on a person's bucket list. what does this change have to do with his family?he said he was struggling with his identity, his family is in no way connected to that so it's not like he got a sex change thinking it would make it easier for him to deal with his family. Not a fan of his family at all, but he seems to love them for some reason so I don't even think that's a problem. this is about helping him feel more comfortable in his own skin and body.

Living in the Kardashian household with those women would give me mental health issues too.
I remember watching him win the Olympics in 1976, I was a teenager then... It's difficult grasping the huge evolutionary journey of Bruce to Kaitlyn. "Back in the day (70s)," there were horrible stigmas against people of different sexual orientations, much less the now seemingly endless list of headings assigned to every possible gender/sexual orientation. I cannot imagine his/her challenges throughout life, esp. under the intense microscope of being in the public eye. Kudos for his/her courage to live true!

People can "feel" like a lot of things, but those feelings do not always translate into something that is accurate. Many feelings are actually caused by chemical, hormonal, or medicinal origins. Many feelings are just flat-out wrong.

He's the nicest person I've ever seen on T.V. Gosh, I see it now...I "get it". Had no idea all these people are out there even. I'm so very sorry for being 67 years old and just not knowing about this. Can't imagine that anyone would NOT like him, have a problem with this at all. It's more like some enjoy sports, some don't . I love my jeans but heels no so much. Who cares? My interests, my tastes, are mine. Always have been. Who's hurt by this? No one at all. I can only support with my whole heart all the people who believe that they must hide (for any reason) their true self as long as they hurt no one (e.g. Violence) and are fine. I "had" a very good friend, a girlfriend, who believed she was a man. She went through all the operations she had to do at age 18 but she deeply regrets it now. She's unable to have any type of sexual pleasure and totally regrets doing this now. I don't see her anymore because she's very depressed.

It is a survey to a large audience, in these highly televized events, the host plays the plays the (majority) asking with intent and understanding of the (majority) to the guest whom is (unusual) the goal I believe is to survey what the general population responds to such topics. Diane Sawyer knows all about these things I'm sure and would not be so inconsiderate or objective off camera, however, she is playing a character, and to be quite frank, Bruce is playing a character.
