I just got a super 10 flowmaster muffler and flowmaster pipes just added to my 2001 GMC Sierra SLE 5.3 l V8 two-wheel drive extended cab 119,000 miles and let me tell you this is the best dual exhaust system I've ever purchased. I don't know what these people are talking about about drone noise there's absolutely barely any drone noise at all with this setup well worth the money and I gained 8 horsepower from this setup
That take off didn't sound like a 5.3 at all, but it was hands down the best sounding setup for a vortec I've ever seen. Prolly gonna do this to my tahoe. Nice job man!

Hey I'm over in Greene County. Have a 2021 Silverado w/ 5.3 going to have a Super 10 installed. You 'bout have to get the Super 10 on the late models because they are really quiet to begin with. Two cats down to one pipe (I believe there is even a third cat), then into one muffler, one pipe out of the muffler split into two tail pipes. A Flowmaster 40 series would be the same as the stock muffler on these models.

Yup it’s the original engine. It’s at 415,000 now and still going strong. I got a video of a catback trueduel on my truck and tbh you would be just as good to go with that. Super 10 sounds good but the catback true duel is just clapper and deeper but not to loud at all

Just did mine with true duals and it’s not loud at all like you think it is , I have dual super 10s on it too. Sounds good at startup and revving it but driving it isn’t loud at all, definitely not happy with the loudness when driving it , too quite still , need to remove the cats and it will be a lot better .
My Lord is that mileage the same motor 403,000 MI jeezum my 01 Sierra GMC has 122,000 on it with the 5.3 l 285 horsepower stock that's what my motor came with. I'm cranking 303 304 in it right now after I added that exhaust setup somewhere around there
I have the same pickup truck as you but a GMC Sierra and I have the exact same exhaust setup as you little bit different though my exhaust tips are way longer than yours and it makes the truck look really good and it sounds absolutely amazing. I gained 18 horsepower on the dyno by doing my exhaust setup with the super 10 my super 10 is a little bit bigger than yours but still you have a nice truck I'm wondering if you still have it because this video is about a year old?

I think if I would have true dual b it would have been way too loud especially on the interstate

My mechanic said it is almost all cylinders misfire Codes we're showing up. So I decided to replace all four oxygen sensors problem still was there the engine light was flashing so I decided
@@thejuddmotorcrew I did spark plug wires and spark plugs and I replaced the mass airflow sensor and the throttle position sensor and the misfire codes were still there. After that I told my mechanic were done guessing on what's wrong with this I might give you have no idea I'm not going to keep throwing money at this if you don't 100% know what's wrong with it. He gave me a list of things that it possibly could be he said it could be my coil packs it could be my injectors or could be my fuel pump. And I have noticed a humming noise from my fuel pump for the past year my mechanic said then that is a fuel pump that is on its way out or you have a clogged up fuel filter does anybody on here know anything about misfires on these 5.3 l vortec V8 s besides the engine light flashing on occasion the engine runs absolutely perfectly no hesitation no loss of power nothing it runs great and there is a another code popping up stating that there's a slight vacuum leak
In the mechanic told me I'd be lucky if I gained two or three horsepower from it well buddy I gained eight horsepower from it before the setup the Dino red 283 horsepower after the setup 291 to 293 horsepower

I split out of the 3rd cat into dual 4 inch pipes, with no muffler on my 2014….has a nice deep tone, but if you want the crackle take the 3rd cat out.
