Dude yes; we have so much the same taste. I got rogue ops last year, and I recently got freaky flyers and am absolutely loving the humor and dialogue in it!
Heck yeah man! Rogue Ops is such a neat stealth game, and Freaky Flyers is definitely an awesome game! Glad you got those and are enjoying them! Thanks again for checking out the video man! 👍
Fantastic work as always! XGRA in particular looks like a really fun racer for a game night with a couple of friends. It's getting to the point where I need to win the lotto to retire and catch up on all of these incredible GC games.
Thank you man! XGRA is definitely a fun game night selection with some friends. Lmaoooo I’m still trying to win the lotto to finish my GC collection 🤣. Thanks again for checking out the video man!
Freaky Flyers! I just played that game tonight! It was fun! I liked it that each characters got their own storylines with humorous cutscenes. Each character got 14 cutscenes even if some are copy and paste or some with small differences and it's like 90 minutes worth of cutscenes. In my opinion, it makes going through story mode feel like a journey from the very first race all the way to the final showdown with Pilot X and worth it for each characters' storyline and humor. Plus it's really creative to have side missions in the races themselves to do to unlock boost rings and additional power-up slots to make it challenging and keep the player on their toes and learn to improve their skills and the stuff like Intestional Track, Torpedo Run, Pilot X Boss Fight and the bandito level does put on variety in the player's journey. It's indeed a pretty unique racing game. I am bummed out that it's not remastered or ported to modern consoles nor did it made it on the Xbox One/Series Backwards Compatibility list. You can play it on a backwards compatible Wii, backwards compatible fat PS3 or Xbox 360, but buying stuff like that might not be worth it to the average gamer with stuff like finding a functional console and copy of the game, memory cards, way to put it on the TV since most TVs now ditch the component and composite inputs and not everyone has access to a PC that can run Dolphin and that game fine enough. The game should've had a sequel and a TV series on a channel like MTV or Adult Swim due to it's sense of humor, to be honest. With many classic games coming back in some shape or form in recent years, I think Freaky Flyers should be one of them to be reintroduced just like Cel Damage, Toejam and Earl, Gex, etc.
100% agreed man! It was such a creative game, and the cutscenes were quite humorous! The cutscenes were the reason why the GC version was 2-discs, but I’m glad they didn’t cut that out for the sake of disc space! I am surprised it never got an HD remaster, as this would’ve been awesome (especially with some online play thrown in)! The mini-games/side-missions were a great touch as well. Thanks for checking out the video man!
I'm gonna have to agree with everything you said about Freestyle Metal X. I have the PS2 version and the problems do carry over. However, there is a good time to be had here. Plus I had a hard time putting it down as well, given how satisfying it can be pulling off these objectves.

If they haven't showed up before, might I suggest Bomberman Generation and Bomberman Jetters? I'm more partial to the former, but also it was a GCN exclusive title and Jetters was GCN exclusive in the west at least, overseas it had a PS2 counterpart as well. I put quite some time into those two games, felt it was worth mentioning them.

Thankfully Sega Soccer Slam is super cheap, even more cheap on Xbox. Next Encounter has gone up a little bit but hopefully I'll get it before it becomes a $100 game. Either way, Great Episode as always GameCube Galaxy.

Coleccionista de GameCube.
Poco a poco voy comprando juegos NTSC.
I only got to play the GameCube in a kiosk in my local mall when I was like 7
There’s always time to get another opportunity to experience this awesome console! 👍 Thanks for checking out the video!
In addition 😂 best gaming line in decades😅 from Freestyle Metal X
“Come on baby, show me the pipe!
Complete 5 loops inside that big drainage pipe.
LMAO! I HAD to include that line.
Man I never even knew what freestyle metal x was just because how awful that boxart is.
The boxart for Freestyle Metal X is pretty bad for sure, but it definitely became a case of "don't just a book by its cover"...or in this case, a "game". Seriously though, despite its visual and performance issues, there's a lot of fun to be had with it! Thanks for checking out the video!
I knew about Sega Soccer Slam but I've never actually seen anything about the game and despite being Soccer which is a sport I do not like, Sega Soccer Slam looks awesome and stylish for being a soccer game and Serious Sam Next Encounter looks badass and even more awesome for being in genre that again I'm not the biggest fan of. Thankfully Sega Soccer Slam is super cheap, even more cheap on Xbox. Next Encounter has gone up a little bit but hopefully I'll get it before it becomes a $100 game. Either way, Great Episode as always GameCube Galaxy.
Sega Soccer Slam is such a great game and can't recommend it enough! Same goes for Serious Sam Next Encounter, which I was having a blast with. Glad you enjoyed the episode man!
I saw XGRA on the thumbnail and had to click. That was a great racing game and it sucks that the Extreme-G series is dead now that Acclaim is defunct.
Glad that caught your attention to watch the video! It really is a shame that was the last we saw of the Extreme-G series...
Sega soccer slam was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agreed! Thanks for checking out the video!
Next Level Games was founded by Black Box staff so Mario Strikers is really a spiritual sucessor to sega slam
That’s right! You can also tell from Strikers that Sega Soccer Slam was their footprint 👍. Thanks for checking out the video!
Boah thx, army man looks nice
Glad you enjoyed the video, and interested in Army Men! Thanks again for checking it out!
I wish freaky flyers came out in the uk but unfortunalty it did not 😢
Woo made it first to the comments! Nice vid Mister Galaxy!!
Nice! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Vex always reminded of soul Reaver
I could see why! Thanks for checking out the video!
Fire blade is basically chopper attack 2
I actually never played Chopper Attack on the N64, but I need to check it out after hearing this. Thanks for checking out the video!
TIL: Super Mario Strikers is Sega Soccer Slam with Mario and Waluigi
rogue ops cold
DGR sent me
That’s awesome! I’m actually not familiar with DGR, but am intrigued to check out their content! Would you mind sharing a link to their channel (or even content where this channel was referenced)? Thanks again, and appreciate you checking out the video!
@@GameCubeGalaxy @DGR_Dave mentioned in one of his live streams that he loves your content!
@@jamesschallert9479 I’m honored to hear this! I will definitely be checking out his content! Do you remember which stream he mentioned my channel?
