I really appreciate the fact how respectful you are in the store -- speaking quietly so you don't bother fellow shoppers. More people should be like you.
11:10 Omg. I LOVE the lid knob refresh with the wooden curtain rings on the bathroom canisters! I also love it when individual pieces make up a collection, like the blue ceramic canisters do.
What I like about you is no fake hair, no fake teeth, no designer clothes. You are REAL and that's important to me. You have natural beauty. I always wonder what these other made-over influencers look like without all these fake stuff.
I looooove the oval rings. And the dish that had the flowers on it. And your store...a craft section... Thanks for sharing....and the curtain rings! That was my pick for the find of the trip....lol
Loved them all. My mom and I lived for purchasing thrift store items. We would look for foot stools and reupholstered them. If they needed a quick little stain just ain’t we would. We would sell what ever we refurbished. We would go have lunch and buy items to complete our projects. Made a lot of good memories with my time with my favorite person in my life. Thank you for inspiring people to go out and make their own $ saving projects. Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year🎉
My favorite was the lamp. The plant stand came in a close second, but I would have used the smaller wood round as a base to make the stand more stable.
Loved everything! Chairs are my absolute favorite!! I've always loved the style and they sit well for me with good support plus you need only a small footprint of space to place them - always a "win win"!!!
Yes, the quality of the thrifted items definitely correlates to the economic status of your city or your neighborhood. Overland Park, Kansas, is a very prosperous town right outside of Kansas City, MO.
I loved the bathroom organizers ..and the two chairs... I loved your little table. That you placed with it. It would look great as a dining table and chairs in my house................great job. I never thought about thruft shopping for those items.....thanks
I am so excited this video came through my feed. I live in the suburbs outside of Kansas City so this thrift store isn't too far from me!! I loved all the items you did but the plant stand was my favorite.
No. 7, the wooden curtain rings as fun handles, I could also see them used on a container for a child's room. The child would enjoy popping them open, time to tidy up your room!!, and popping them back on!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
Hands down the chairs, what a find and the price was crazy good. Went thrifting today and used your idea of the coffee table books and found some great ones that look perfect.
So much fun watching shopping in the thrift store. Thanks for sharing all the details picking, transforming, crafting, decorating. For sure this is very valuable for me to learn.
Liz, as always you have fresh ideas for bringing new life to items left behind. You are such an inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us.😊
The wood slate item you purchased at the thrift store originally was used in an office for a chair mat. Just thought you might like to know. We use them in our office.
I loved the chairs which were an easy refresh, lived the canisters you redid, loved the small basket to use for remotes and the 2 small blue decorative containers
Loved the Blue and white pieces. The covered containers. One for jewelry and the other. They were gorgeous!!! I seriously wish I could find something that good! They are amazing, just my vibe.
What a fun evening I have had thrifting with you! I absolutely love every idea you came up with but the idea of placing the oversized wooden rings on the 2 small wooden canisters for the bathroom was ingenious and beautiful. Simple, clean, useful and so elegant. I also am thrilled by the lamp. I have been looking for a lamp like the one you created and, well, now that I’ve been inspired by you I’m going to give it a try! Thank you so much😊
The plant stand base you made was originally a bamboo mat because I have one with the exact fabric, non-slip base. Now I know what to do when it starts looking worn!
My favourite thing you thrifted was the two chairs. I grew up with wicker chairs exactly like them, but the seats were an olive green. Same velvet material, though. I remember having to vacuuming the chairs, every Saturday morning ( part of my chores ). I loved those chairs, thought they were so posh! Also liked the wooden cotton ball and Q-tip canisters, very unique!
I really appreciate the fact how respectful you are in the store -- speaking quietly so you don't bother fellow shoppers. More people should be like you.
Chairs best find!!
The wood slats with carpet backing is an office chair mat. You put it under your chair to protect your floor. Good re-use!
11:10 Omg. I LOVE the lid knob refresh with the wooden curtain rings on the bathroom canisters! I also love it when individual pieces make up a collection, like the blue ceramic canisters do.
Omg my FAV WAS the wooden canisters. Changing the top was genius and styled perfectly in the bathroom.
Loved the blue section. I went to 3 shops last week looking for blue and white!
What I like about you is no fake hair, no fake teeth, no designer clothes. You are REAL and that's important to me. You have natural beauty. I always wonder what these other made-over influencers look like without all these fake stuff.
The oval hoops with the sweater inserts for earrings is my favorite.I’m definitely going to look for something similar to diy.
Good luck finding them!
I looooove the oval rings.
And the dish that had the flowers on it. And your store...a craft section...
Thanks for sharing....and the curtain rings! That was my pick for the find of the trip....lol
I love all of the containers/boxes/bsskets/and cannisters! They're so useful and beautiful too!

Several great ideas like using curtains for fabric. And I LOVE how those curtain rings dramatically changed those containers.

12:33 Omg! Just when I thot it couldn't get craftier! The earring hangers remind me of tobacco baskets and fishing nets! Love live love!

The thing with the wood slats is for your desk chair to sit on I had one before but it was darker.
