We just moved into our new home in Nashville TN and need lots of home decor, home essentials and furniture! Come thrift with me as I find new decor and home essentials for our house! Thrifting is one of my favorites ways to find quality unique pieces on a budget! I’m checking out local goodwills, antique malls, and thrift stores around town! I hope this gives you a better idea for what to look for while you’re out thrifting or inspires you to check out your local thrift stores as well!

Fun trip! That basket would be $30 at the Goodwill in Orange County, CA. It's not even fun to go there anymore. Great find! Looking forward to seeing how you style everything!
I love that you’re thrifting to use things in your home. To me it’s about finding special pieces affordably you can use in your own home and give ideas to watchers. I don’t care for channels that buy things at a bargain and then upsell them on their business site. I love your channel. 😊
Goin to do some same thing in my retirement apt at 60 something.New couch but the rest from Home Goods or from Thrift Stores ❤
You are where I grew up! Best deals to find are in estate/yard sales in Brentwood, Franklin, Greenhills And Bellemeade!!! All suburbs in around Nashville! You will find some great deals! There is also another Goodwill on Murfreesboro Road in Franklin which is bigger and has a bigger selection than the one you went to. Good luck! I am jealous of your basket and glasses you bought! What a great deal! 😊
Also other Goodwill has books, more pictures and furniture if you hit them on the right day! If you get friendly with the cashiers you can get an edge on when the good stuff comes in!
Welcome to Franklin and the Nashville area. I am so glad you are here. You found the best antique store around. It's the old ice house. I dont know if they gave you any history on the building and the train station right outside the door. But there are many other great antique stores in Franklin as well however you definitely hit the best one. 😀
I’m in California and the antique shops in my area are not astronomical, they are very fairly priced. I’ve decorated my home with all vintage finds from antique and thrift stores while on a budget

I got a £2000 fireplace for £125, I love it, had to paint it black tho as it was tan
Those glass cups, both sizes, also fit a top by Pyrex. We use ares for smoothies and even for food storage with the lids.
I love the goodwill in Brentwood!

I have those same glass cups and yes! Smoothies and matcha lattes work great in them😄
Check to see if they still have the monthly Fairgrounds Flea Market, it was a great resource for bargains, antiques, etc, when I lived in Tennessee, I set up at this market!
Yes they do still have the flea market here. It's great but not as big since they moved things around to build the soccer stadium 😢

What a lovely antique shop! I’m not a fan of art for arts sake though. A painting has to have a meaning or connection for me. Somewhere I love, something I love.
I have oriental carpets like these, they are so nice to walk on barefoot, my home looks expensive (some really are persian) and all who visit feel good - like they already been in space like this.... it looks familiar and friendly (homey) to them. 💕

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! You are so fortunate to have thrift shops that have reasonable prices. Here in Canada, some thrift shops are charging the same price for 2ndhand stuff as for a new item. It's crazy. I rarely thrift anymore unfortunately.

Going to antique or garage sale needs a clear mind and a little bit lucky. I always get a bundle of pieces but just laid in the storage room at the end.

I have those cups! They are actually part of a yogurt making kit. There are lids that used to go with them, but the lids aren't the best quality.

Quite often those large smoothie glasses are sold at William Sonoma and you can buy lids for them as well. The lids will fit the small and large glasses

You'll have to out to the small little towns. They have 'junk" stores, small thrift stores. Franklin has gotten trendy and very expensive.
