I would definitely put up the camera and a sign. I know y’all love all your animals but this is sad for you to be taken advantage of like this. It’s cool here in Ohio. For now. I definitely do NOT approve of people dumping animals on others, but I know where I live it happens often. Our animal control shelter is constantly full to capacity, and when full they do not accept any more animals. Some people find themselves in difficult situations where they can’t keep their pets. If the shelter can’t accept them, then what? Recently someone tied their dog to a sign in front of the shelter. They left food and water and a note telling their pets name, and please find someone that would love and care for it. The shelter was seeking info on who the dogs owner was because they were going to prosecute them for abandoning an animal. I never heard of the owner was found. It seemed to me that they did the best they could, if they had nobody to take it.
Anyone else love the conversations Jason has with the animals? 😂❤ So entertaining, quite creative and downright hilarious ! Thank you Cog Hill, THE BEST channel on UA-cam ❣️
Yep! I wonder sometimes wonder what my neighbors think about what they hear from the other side of our shared walls. 😂 Every time I leave the home I tell my puppy and kitties where I'm going and how long I think I will be gone. The furbabies look at me intently as they listen. And I think they understand a lot of what I say. But the neighbors probably think I'm nuts because they know I'm the only human in the home. 😅
Y'all are going to have to figure out a standby plan for finding homes for these animals. I know this before I even watch this! People are taking advantage of your kindness but it's just going to end up being too much for you to home these animals on your own 40. And I know you love all animals❤😢 Maybe start a nonprofit or put these animals on your website for adoption or even have another Channel just for adoptions!?
We live in the North GA Bintang and people just dump their dogs up here like a domesticated dog can easily survive on its own. Not so. It's heartbreaking. I had similar thoughts about the Smiths needing to be careful when they found DeeDee because one can only care for so many dogs (along with all of the other animals they have!)
@@shadowkissed2370 Yup, I was thinking the same at the time Brooke found Deedee and I saw your comment or someone else's saying something to the point of getting ready to be a dump site for unwanted pet (esp. dogs). Their area looks like too far away from any walking distance for Deedee and this new pup to just happen to be there.
Hopefully she was not dumped at your property, it happens very often. Someone left 4 pregnant cats at our ranch a few months back, all of which delivered their babies within 3 days of arrival. It can become problematic when you suddenly are responsible for 4 females & a total of 22 kittens.
I live out in the sticks also and have had a lot of dumps over the years. One thing that you should feel real good about is the fact that those cats delivered four days after coming to your house. Animals will quite often hold off delivering until they feel safe and comfortable. Cats especially. I truly don't know how they do it. But it's the ultimate compliment you could have gotten that after only four days they felt comfortable enough to start dropping them babies. Not only that, they felt comfortable enough to allow you to count them because cats will quite often hide their babies you must be a special kind of person
That happened to me… ended up with 18. For 19 years I never had a rat… with in a month of the last one dying we started having big rats in our outside building.. keep them cats and stay rat free.
Bless your heart. I keep ending up with cats too. I've spent a lot spaying and neutering but I keep "finding"kittens. It isn't their fault. I just feed whatever shows up and try to stay ahead on the spay/neuter cycle. We luckily have a low cost clinic near us. Hugs.
Jason and Brooke, your hearts are kind and people know it. I am hopeful someone claims her. She looks healthy and happy. June bug is the cutest name ever!!! God bless you all!

As we live on a busy road, well it was then not so much now with the bypass, it was mayhem. My last cat died two years ago at the age of 21 and I said then no more but now I have a stray boy that comes and goes as he pleases knowing there is food always here for him.
I’m so sorry people can be so heartless. I’ll never understand how people can dump animals. And not only this little one but I guarantee DeDe was dumped too. It absolutely breaks my heart. And makes mad people are taking your hearts and kindness for granted.
The first day there and Junebug seems to be accepted by all that we saw, and the way Junebug runs around and enjoys herself makes me think she came from a lonely environment and now she is in a very large size friendly family. It makes me wonder how the 3 kittens in the new barn are going to be once they have access to the entire farm. I love the interplay between all the animals including the human ones.
I faithful watch your UTube every AM---such a great way to start the day! I hope you find a Home for that adorable puppy. If she is lucky he will be able to stay at your farm-----you have plenty of room--and what is one more place at the doggie dinner table?? She certainly fell into being part of the "pack"! Oh my heavens it just makes me so upset when dogs are just left off to fend for themselves. There are dog adoption agencies that you can take them to. I hope who just dumped her off has a change of heart. I do know that I respect Brooke so much for rescuing Rocky and Bandit. Grateful that your giving Dee Dee the best of her old age. Thanks for your kindness and care for all the abandoned pups and kittens! Even if you can't keep her, the newest pup has a better chance finding a forever home through your UA-cam neighbors. I think she's adorable and would adopt her but I live in northern Illinois. Too far when I'm sure someone closer would welcome her. She's a sweetie! Blessings for all you do!
Jason, the forks on the tractor might be easier to move if you raise the tractor front up higher, perhaps mid body/ shoulder height… tilt it forward some, and of course use the WD -40 spray. Bless you both and MaryCarl for caring for that pretty little baby pup!
My dad always said if WD40 didn’t fix it, you didn’t use enough! This has proven to be true more times than not! There are people not on social media, so I would put up flyers at nearby vets offices, near post offices, grocery stores, etc. Sadly, she may be a dump, but she does look well cared for and loved. I still hope you find her owners.♥
Jason I have every confidence you and Brooke will handle the situation, with that precious puppy, with the utmost care and responsibility. Either way you will see she is taken care of. I was so happy to see you had a spot of cooler weather to get all but a few of those posts in. My heart is so invested. I can hardly wait to see all your beautiful babies frolicking in their new pastures. What a joyous day that will be for all. 🤗🙏🏽💓 As always . . . thank you for taking us along on your beautiful journey. I send continued blessings to your precious family and farm. 🙏🏽💓💐
A surveillance system is a good idea. Not just for people if they are dumping pets out in the farms. But great just for your own protection. You can see who is at your gate from the safety of your home. MaryCarl with all the dogs following was so cute.
You need to make an area on your farm and build a house for all them fur babies you all are collecting. Call it "Paws Sanctuary." You guys are the best to take on these poor creatures and love on them forever...they are lucky to have found you and mama. 🌿💛🌿

My last cat died two years ago at the age of 21 and I said then no more but now I have a stray boy that comes and goes as he pleases knowing there is food always here for him.
If you’re feeding him, he’s your cat. Get him neutered at least.
I’m so sorry people can be so heartless. I’ll never understand how people can dump animals. And not only this little one but I guarantee DeDe was dumped too. It absolutely breaks my heart. And makes mad people are taking your hearts and kindness for granted.
On the metal I would use a good ol' bar of soap. It works on our old sliding doors. It's great for metal and cheep 😂
The breeze looked so nice...could almost feel it after having some milk...Tastes so good and refreshing
It's great how your own animals accept and befriend new critters. Your farm is so full of love. ❤❤❤
Y'all have such big hearts and I hope no one dumped her at your driveway. Either way she is in good hands
God bless you both
Since Holly is doing such a good job helping with the fence maybe peaches will make her employee of the month?❤
Holly is amazing and glad that you went and got her. Glad you got what polls you did get put in. Yes it been a real hot year and it's going to get to being 103 here today.
The owners might have called the Humane Society to see if she was found so, you should call them to let them know you have a lost dog. 44 posts in one day! Amazing. You guys are such hard workers. Nice to see MaryCarl.
When you have such a big heart and a love for animals it’s sad to see animals abandoned maybe you need another channel called Cog Hill animal rescue I love watching your channels a massive thank you for allowing us to be a part of it ❤️🇦🇺
DJ Arms has to be happy that Jesse went to such a fine family that cares for their animals,.
Lord I do not feel bad with how many cats I have now that I know you have 10 dogs!! Ya’ll have a great weekend rest up at least one day!! I just Love the Cog Hill family ❤❤
Good Friday morning, Jason, Brooke, and MC! Yesterday, it was 112°🥵 ! Precious little girl puppy. Prayers 🙏 💖 that the puppy's owner contacts yall. You two are awesome putting in fence posts. I bet you will have no problem with someone adopting her.❤ 💕 🩷 💞
Thanks for your kindness and care for all the abandoned pups and kittens! Even if you can't keep her, the newest pup has a better chance finding a forever home through your UA-cam neighbors. I think she's adorable and would adopt her but I live in northern Illinois. Too far when I'm sure someone closer would welcome her. She's a sweetie! Blessings for all you do!
Looks like June Bug has a new home!❤ When you give them a name they are yours!!❤❤
I thought the same thing.
Oh my gosh so cute! It is sad if she really was abandoned. You will be like Lester soon with all the dogs!🤠💕
Hey there Cog Hill Farm 🚜 Great job on the fencing! I sure hope the owners come for the puppy. Shes super sweet. ❤
God Cress you guys. Stay cool and safe. Prayers for cooler weather.
Oh dear Lord Junebug is absolutely adorable and it looks like she found her forever home with the Cog Hill Farm humans and animals ❤.
Another new baby for Cog Hill? What a cute puppy!!!
Jason, the forks on the tractor might be easier to move if you raise the tractor front up higher, perhaps mid body/ shoulder height… tilt it forward some, and of course use the WD -40 spray.
Bless you both and MaryCarl for caring for that pretty little baby pup!
Sweet little puppy. Looks a lot like Joe-Joe on Walker Farm Fam. Hope someone steps up to take her as their own.
My dad said you need 2 things. Wd40 and duct tape.
loretta is loving you
Jason, tilt your forks down so that only the top rail is holding the forks, and they will slide from the top. You won't have to push the bottom.😊
The lub you use on your tractor put on groove of top rail will last longer then wd40.
You and Brooke are the most kind caring people ive ever seen .
Live to watch your farm and everything youre up to. Xx
As always . . . thank you for taking us along on your beautiful journey.
How stylish you look in all your sun protection Jason . Be careful out there in that heat you two . 🌞
You need to make an area on your farm and build a house for all them fur babies you all are collecting. Call it "Paws Sanctuary." You guys are the best to take on these poor creatures and love on them forever...they are lucky to have found you and mama. 🌿💛🌿
We have a precious rescue Junebug at our house too. Love her!
❤ Junebug is a great name for the new puppy. Cute Jesse shirt.
