Sylvia, I noticed that too!!! Animals know pure hearts and they feel intentions. They may pick a “favorite” , but they love them all. It shows in every video. I can’t wait until they can run around and enjoy the beautiful property. I do hope they get to stay in the barn at night tho. ❤️

You southern people crack me up with planting winter gardens. In NY our winter gardens are snow. No way can we actually grow more vegetables.
Winter gardens are planted out here in Northern California, usually late October. My neighbor uses her stackables for summer & winter & she gives me tomatoes in summer & lettuce & greens in winter. Awesome! Can’t wait to see your winter garden, you prepare your soil so well. Also hope your honey business goes well. Think Moody & the boys miss being around all their buddies? That was interesting about the compost pile, didn’t know they don’t smell! Those tools for cleaning stalls for goat beans are really cool, someone had great ideas! Seeing all the babies was wonderful, think Goldie would love you with some treats! We are cool in Northern California, Central Valley is high of 70 today! Holly is a cutie & I love seeing her, & Moody is a fav! Blessings.🤗🙏❤️

I cannot help feeling sorry for poor Goldie. I hope that things will get better between her and Nugget when it comes to getting attention from you. As usual, I love your show and I still learn a lot from you.
Nugget has a girlfriend and he doesn't want to share! He's probably also trying to show her what a great protector he is by making sure nothing comes near her. 💖💖💖

The sieving devices worked great! I am sure maintenance cleaning will go faster than the initial big clean up. I love how Nugget lies down for loving. Charlie at AFH is starting to do that as well. Hopefully the jealousy will taper off.

I think between Nugget and Jesse they are a tie for wanting more attention. But Jesse wins hands down for the best cuddles. That shows how much she trusts you, Jason. Hey, y'all. Several years ago I was actually raising EMU. Just thought I'd remind y'all of something you may have already read about. It is coming up on or already in breading season for emu's. So sometime around Thanksgiving y'all might start finding some really big deep green eggs. It's also possible that if you can't find Nugget at some point, when you do find him he just might be setting an a bunch of them eggs. That's not a garuntee because sometimes the female will just lay them big ol' eggs any old where. At least that was my experience. Y'all have fun now.
Yes, that is true. Sometimes male Emus sit on the egg or eggs.

I really hope Nugget will warm up to Goldie. She has been through a lot and needs the attention. I think she will settle in and they will become buddies. I know you had said they are not herd animals before, but I pray they connect. I just takes time. And Jesse…🤣🤣 she is so in love with y’all!!! Cog Hill is ALWAYS a great way to start out a day!! I love hearing about changes and decision-making, too. The donkey hugs, kitty pets, Peaches' assessments; all are daily necessities You and Brooke (with MC's help) have done a huge...HUGE...amount of work this summer. I've adopted you all; so can feel Proud of what you've done! 😊

Nugget had Daddy all to himself for a long time, he’s just going through a hard time having to share Dad! I think with time he will get better about Goldie. I love how Jesse has settled into life at your farm, the Arms family did a wonderful job raising her to trust and be gentle, and Jesse is showing how intelligent, loving and curious donkeys truly are!
I don't know much about birds, but seeing how it takes a while for other animals to settle in, I wouldn't worry too much. Jealousy and creating a pecking order is very normal, as is guarding your human!!

I add pine shavings to my stalls. It makes the waste easier to pickup without scooping out your base (dirt) floor. It also makes a fantastic addition to the compost pile. Thank you for the video. Cog Hill puts a smile on my face every time 😊.

Nugget was an 'only emu child' for probably as far back as he can remember. He will most likely adjust, albeit slowly, to having Goldie with him. Brooke and Jason are definitely patient people so with time he will be a bit less like Jessi. After all, the Sheriff must maintain his position of authority = all hugs are for me!

Jason can I just say how amazing your new kids channel is! My son is almost 4 and is o the autism spectrum and one of his his aba therapist came over for a session and he was watching one of your videos when they came in and the therapist actually thought your videos were so well made they they are looking at using some of your kids videos for some of their lessons for kids age 2-8. Keep up the amazing work yall do. We love all 3 channels ❤

I love how well the EMU's are doing. I don't think its so much jealous as it is this is my pasture/my home your a guest and give him time to adapt. He hasn't been around another EMU for years. I think you've done a wonderful job with both of them. Goldie is fitting in and she is still missing her other brother/mate. Nugget was hand raised in the beginning by one little girl then MC and you so he is like a bottle fed goat. Sweet, lovable and friendly. Your animals get along so well all over the farm. Only one that is just plain lovable and yet does not like the other pigs is Peaches. Yet, she is the friendliest thing ever to Mildred, the goats. So glad you got a cleaner scoop that really works YAY, that will make things easier for you on the farm. Have a great weekend Jason.
