- Stars worked the Oscars red carpet outside of Los Angeles’s Dolby Theatre (which, for the first time in 62 years, is actually a champagne colour), ahead of the 95th Academy Awards, and plenty of celebrities leaned into maximalist themes, with lots of excess fabric, bold prints and bright pops of colour.
Style expert Susie Wall breaks down the fashion triumphs and misses from the champagne-coloured carpet on the Morning Show with hosts Jeff McArthur and Carolyn MacKenzie.

The super sheer dresses reminded me of swimsuits with long sheer wraps. Either that or straight out of the old Frederick's of Hollywood catalogs
Some of what she is judging as a triumph looks like a hot mess. She totally missed on Gaga’s dress and necklace, It truly was a triumph very classy and stylish. It truly was memorable.

Lady Gaga was one of my favorites. I thought the dress was stunning.
I find it so funny that a "fashion expert" hates what Michelle Yeoh is wearing, when we ordinary people just love her outfit, and IMO was one of the nights best

Oh Susie...I think you got so much of this fashion review wrong. Emily Blunt was perfection from head to toe, and I love her earrings. There were plenty of men rocking the carpet in fashion forward suit jackets and colours and textures. I’ll be tuning into fashion discussions elsewhere from now on.

My pick for best dressed was Jamie Lee Curtis. Her Dolce Gabbano dress was gorgeous and age and figure appropriate. I agree with all your other critiques except for Lady Gaga; her gown and makeup were flawless.
Emily, Jessica and Jamie Lee were fantastic, so sad they were so critical of them when they looked amazing, shame on them

It's unfair that so many stars got penalized for their fashion choices due to the Academy's decision to ditch the Red Carpet. Most of the 'So-So's would have benefited mightily from the vibrant red contrast.

Maybe one year, they could all go shopping at charity shops, and the money that would have been spent on these dresses could be given to charity. I bet the charity shops in and around Hollywood have phenomenal clothes given to them

Have you noticed that than older actors the more elegance they have? Some young actresses did not bother with their hairstyle at all. I am wondering if they washed their hair...And a lot of people looked like freaks, probably they mixed up Oscar and Halloween.

Woman who interviewed Hugh Grant: her dress(?) was a total miss! Ugh. Her interviewing skills, however, were a triumph. Hugh Grant was hilarious, as usual! He's known for his comedic sarcasm. So, why are folks outraged. Get a sense of humor. He's great!
