If we were to name best computers of all times...and by that I mean a computer you'd want to use.
Figure skating shoes are so much more better now...I don't think skaters would like to go back to using those in the early 1900's.
I know it's different with dresses and the context is different, I'm just sayin' don't be shocked if they only mention recent ones, fashion and beauty are SUBJECTIVE, and this is THEIR pick.
gilanin it's fashion, not technology, so it never actually "gets better" in that sense. And people were just saying that there were over 80 years (or something) of dresses that they missed, and those times still had amazing style. I know it's their choice, but they still said of all time, so yeah many people are pretty shocked

One was Audrey Hepburn; the other was Grace Kelly. And yes, their beauty, elegance and good taste was displayed in dresses worn at the Oscars. In fact in a countdown to the Oscars in 2014, viewers voted Grace Kelly's 1952 Oscar dress as still being the best Oscar dress of all time. And by the way, Jennifer Lawrence won for Best Actress, not Best Supporting Actress.

So surprised number one was not Halle Berry in Elie Saab in 2002. I'm not particularly interested in fashion and it was the first dress I ever remembered after an awards show. I still think of that dress. No one could ever have worn it like she did.

THIS is the BEST Oscar dresses of all time? Disagreeable. Half of these dresses were ugly, ill-fitting, or extremely plain. I do admit that some were very beautiful, but labelling this average-looking Oscar dresses as the best of ALL TIME is almost offensive, considering the fact that the list never extended far before the year 2001. Many famous women were looking just, if not more beautiful in all types and styles of dresses BEFORE the start of the new century and of the 2000s era. I appreciate the effort, but different dresses, even ones significantly from this time era, are more worthy of making this list than the ones chosen.
