I'd like to see you guys try the different kinds of liquor in their most popular drinks. Gin and tonic, Vodka cranberry, Margarita, Daiquiri, etc. Really see how it compares to your personal preferences for these drinks

@@Avery-ts2sk I've had it from a Buffalo wild wings that just so happened to order some aviation when it's not the Gin they usually go for. I don't like Gin but I saw they had aviation so I ordered a Gin and tonic and to my surprise it wasn't all that bad I ordered it a few more times cause it was good. And I was with my mother she loves Gin and tonics and she loved it way more then other gins

If we want to be fair, aviation gin existed way before he entered the company, so technically it's not his gin, unlike many others out there
The gin was made in 2006, he acquired a stake in 2018
He literally just bought into a company that made a product he liked. It’s not like a celebrity booze made for him. I don’t know why more people don’t understand that.
@@adamr9215 I think most people that like gin understand, but at the end of the day it’s a good product and he’s a great advocate. Why correct someone when the misconception only leads people to buying a quality gin.
A tip on when during gin. If you add one drop of water it activates all the flavor and scents of the botanicals. Try it out
Aviation is the first gin I tried that I didn't hate. My tastes have evolved and I can appreciate other gin as well, but I think Aviation is super approachable and I don't mind the price point.
You need to try Gun Powder Gin. It’s heaven in a bottle
It's easier to do taste tests (especially in less-familiar categories) if you compare two products. For example, comparing Aviation to a baseline gin like Tanqueray or Beefeater.

He never owned the company just a stake, so he didn't sell anything and he still has a stake and a partnership with it
Definitely keep this series up. I don't drink and I also don't care enough about celebrity alcohol to look up other reviews online, but I watch you guys, so I will watch the hell out of this since I've always been slightly curious about celebrity alcohol brands.
Aviation Gin is fire
Since I first tried it, its the only bottle you will ALWAYS see me having in my house

American Alcohol prices amaze me! In Australia that bottle is about $80 to $100 depending on the store.. Roku is also cheaper at around $70. Aus Taxes almost 40% of liquor sales so always way more expensive!
I bought a bottle a while back 'cause the store I work at had it on a decent introductory markdown. I found it to have practically no juniper notes, and for some reason, _anise_ was really jumping out at me. TBH I'm not keen on new-world gins and prefer my London dry styles with more juniper snap, but it was far from the worst gin I've ever had (that dubious award goes to Anchorage Distillery's pretentiously-named "Aurora Borealis" gin). Think up here in SE Alaska it goes for something to the tune of $32, but I'd have to double-check.

I like aviation. It’s one of my go to gins. Aviation and Tanqueray are probably my favorite gins you can find anywhere. Monkey 47 is amazing, but that one’s pretty pricey so I don’t buy it often and save it for more special equations.

I'm actually a fan of this gin. My all time favorite is Tanqueray, I do enjoy that juniper flavor. I agree that Aviation isn't as strong in the juniper botanical department, but it surprised me with how flavorful it was without being overpowering. It's a bright, very easy & enjoyable gin, in my opinion.
I actually quite enjoy the extra citrus notes on this bottle. I’ve had plenty of other gins and I’ve found I like a more balanced juniper flavour then ones that just jump straight out at you. So this got a good score from me.
Than you should try the nikka gin
(if you are willing to pay the price I think it's about 35 to 40 dollars)
Great review guys! I love that you showed off alternatives as well. I'm with Dylan, for the price I think it's good. However the Roku is on the top of my gin list. It is my favorite. Along with Hendrick's Summer Solstice but that one has way higher price point.
Aviation is alright. It’s versatile… no complaints here. It’s fine with tonic, and equally comfortable in a citric or a salty martini

This is the first gin I got and I drank it all by myself in a day and a half. Then bought another cheaper bottle of gin and was disgusted. I can usually get through it even if I don’t like the taste. But something wasn’t right lol
I love this gin. I didn't know it was a celebrity liquor the first time I had it. It's price nicely for the quality I think.

Up in Canada it runs for like, $40-45 CAD, which is like $35 USD. Always blows me away seeing the prices there compared to here

Since I first had it it’s the only bottle of gin I keep in the house
As a regular gin drinker I like this one, price is fair enough on it. I also drink Broker's, Beefeater, and Sapphire, this one is just as good as the first two............Sapphire is probably the best. Nolet's is good too

I do have we to say, your price points are for your area. The suntory is 5 dollars more expensive in my area. So, be careful about that when comparing price. Some states have harder times bringing in certain imports, hence higher prices. But here(texas), gin factory is in that price point. Looking at other comments about gins that cost more or learning gin, this is a great way to get into gins that need little additive. Add an elderflower tonic to aviation, and it makes more botanical gins appealing. Sorry for my rant... gin is my favorite spirit!
I don’t like Gin, especially London Dry gin, but I love this stuff. Not enough that it’s my go to (just because gin’s not my pick), but it’s definitely a good pick imo.

I really liked aviation and didn’t even realize it was Ryan Reynolds when I bought it until I read the label, I just liked the bottle and thought it tasted good, not a big fan of Roku but New Amsterdam is decent

I prefer a London Dry. Beefeater is my go-to. I found Aviation to be bland. I found the New Amsterdam Original, and the London Dry, to be too ethanol-y (my mouth and chest were on fire) and bland. Cheers.

As a Gin&Tonic enjoyer, I don't like Aviation that much. Almost tastes like just vodka. Kind of bland. I don't honestly like this. It doesn't burn tho, it is very mellow and for some reason if you add some citrus in it barely burns at all.

Aviation is an appropriate name for this gin; it tastes like jet fuel. No hint of juniper, and very little flavor that I could detect, just alcohol. You'd be better off drinking vodka. Or get a nice London dry gin if you want flavor in your G&T.
