Hi Olivio, I have an idea for some UA-cam videos Affinty photo has got a lot of tools / options and a lot of us don’t always know what they are and what they are used for, so my suggestion is to get the community involved by every picking a tool / option that they don’t know what it does, and the one with the biggest demand do a ten minute to 20 minute video on how to use it etc.
You could call the video series teaching Tuesday 😉 also putting a link to a google doc with a list of the videos that have already been done with a hyperlink to each video for easy reference. I love your teaching style and you make every feel at ease thank you for all of the content you have done for us all Olivio.

It is great to have refreshers of simple skills though the Affinity team do a good job with their tutorials. There is so much to learn about the Affinity Suite and sometimes you need to be reminded and have tutorials dedicated to basic skills like masks. I guess if I go back through Olivio's tutorials they will be there already.

A very good introductory overview. Might be useful to a general audience to point out that all of your keyboard modifiers and shortcuts are only relevant to Windows users.
I've had Affinity for a while now, but it has grown so much and your lesson is great. However you mention a mouse quite a bit. I've never used a mouse for photo editing before. I have a late '13 macbook pro. Will using a mouse help out and make these edits easier? Which mouse is best for this computer and affinity?
I would love to see a video which starts from the very start, I mean bring in a photo you have taken, go through a workflow ( typical ) and show a before and after, I have just downloaded Affinity photo but find it difficult to get started. I would usually start with crop, straighten my photo, then go into edit, is there such a video out there which shows how to do this using Affinity photo? Love your video but it's even too far advanced for a complete beginner like me

So how to set working color space in this app and how can i use custom camera profile from DNG Profile Manager to this app. Is it possible ? Sorry for too much questions.

Hi Colin, please check the Resolution you are watching it. It's a direct screen grab, so there is no focus, it's pixel by pixel my exact screen. Hope that helps :)

For me this leaves a LOT of confusion for someone just trying to begin learning Affinity. I'm hearing about the controls and a generic description of what you can do. For me, it does not tell me how to use it. I'm visual. I NEED to SEE what these things being talked about will do. I'm hoping I can remember somethings said in this video. Hopefully it will help me when I see a video that SHOWS what these things will do. That's my frustrating observation after almost 10 minutes of this video.
