I work as a busser and I almost lost my job tonight for not keeping up with the swing of things. Lucky for me they are willing to give me another shot at it this should help me improve my work and dedication towards myself and the business I work for.
I just got my first job, im 17, at sizzlers, starting in two days, im so exited but nervous i might mess up. I dont think i will, but wish me luck, ill come update my situation
Holy shit the sizzlers i work at is a very good one, lots of customers. Very hard job, fast-paced, heavy lifting, some other bussers are lazy and just push off the hard work to us fast pace ones, but when we have a good group going, its good, almost, sundays are ass for brunch, its a lot of work, i suggest if you are gunna work as a busser at sizzlers, just know, its hard, i would imagine other resturaunts being even a little more easy, but the all you can eat salad bar, the cutting your fingers doing silverware, the dumping heavy trashcans, the filthy work of dishes and dishes and bowls, and bowls, and small, big, and medium plates all going different placed 20 to 40 to 50 pounds per walking 10 to 20 to 30 feet, the moving the different sized metal containers, plastic containers, id say this sizzlers is much harder than other resturaunts, as ive heard from my fellow 20, and 30 year old coworkers, tips on a super busy day about 25, you pretty much do more work than anyone else, but this may just be this sizzlers, but holy crap if you are looking for just spare money and not a very hard, tiring job, than work somewhere else dont work here unless you need to to live and survive off of it
I think I restaurants a little bit different cuz it's family-owned I've been there for 3 years my fiance works in the kitchen he's one of the cooks I get waters a bus tables I clear the tables except the tables I talk to the customers the waitress staff doesn't tell me what table to bus because a restaurant only holds 59 people and we have a patio on the summertime and doing this for 3 years it's easy cuz I just go over the table I refill the water I'm basically a waitress except I'm not taking orders I'm not getting drinks and I'm not bringing the food out to only occasionally I will do it blessings not that hard other places Maybe
Being a lone busboy at Denny’s ..... IS. THE . HARDEST. SHIT. EVER
I watched this video in class, and my teachers were laughing so hard during the video, we had to stop the video because we were crying laughing.

Gabrielle Holland question- do you refill waters without asking? Or are you supposed to ask the customer if they’d like a refill?
