Get rid of Imposter Syndrome- focus on the value that you bring to the meeting! Thanks for the tip…

@@rocking1313 when you start thinking about the value you bring and what the audience is thinking about it really helps…. And remember the senior stakeholders haven’t hired you to be at their level… they’ve hired you to do your job… take confidence in yourself for being able to do your job awesomely 🔥🔥🔥

I am going through a particular trying time at work being someone who reports to the chief and senior VP level and is stuck between a manager and director level. Watching your video made me realize several things that I intuitively do, which are all of these things...now though, I'm going to put a focused effort into doing them every time.
Flex to their requests as a rule in context makes sense but being an American, I interpreted it as flex your muscles initially and thought what the heck..? It's something the kids say over here that in our world would effectively mean pushback

@@Contriteone-.- hey there… good to hear it’s useful… and yes I mean be flexible not flex your muscles 😊… already enough muscle in the room!! Be flexible and adapt to the situation… people (including senior state holders) will always tell you exactly what they want and what you need to know… if you ask the right questions

Great contents. I especially love how you have the guts to point out the ego thing. And how you framed the ego so it does not sound all negative is refreshing to hear!

Thank Xin, good to know what you're dealing with and what is there... even if it is unsaid... do you find you come across it in your workplace?

Sometimes no matter what a person says or does they will not succeed in sharing vital information they know which differs from other people around them. When that happens they must accept that when then having to decide what is most important to them from day to day at the time including how important it is for them to for example be getting 100% on every test they are going to be writing there at the time. For example once a student advisor who was a single mom while she was completing her university classes once told me how important it is to be multitasking whenever playing any video they must learn from which their professor has made in the distant past beyond all current time zones around the world frame for that day. I can guess now why she gave me that advice which on the outset sounded kind of absurd to me only at first. My guess is that single dad students probable need to follow the same advice too.
