They should build up to a 90s animated Civil War considering they already did Secret Wars and then maybe do some lighter/happier adaptations of ‘One More Day’ and Superior Spider-Man which get resolved but still have an affect on Peter’s character and after that introduce Miles Morales

Mary Jane from Spider-man TAS was not a reporter. She was a model and actress. However it would be fun if in a sub plot for Spider-Man 98" if she actually quits being a actress and model and tries to be a reporter while Peter is still a Photographer for Daily Bugle. There is also the unended Subplot in Spider-Man TAS where Black Cat and Morbis are helping Blade and Whistler hunt down Blade's Mother, The Queen of the Vampires. All while Black Cat is trying to help Morbis. That sub plot was NEVER solved! Along with the unsolved Plot of Norman Osborn/ the Green Goblin, whom like Mary Jane is also trapped in-between Dimensions and so is Venom and Carnage! They could do the comic book storyline of "Venom vs Carnage", where in it the Carnage Symbiote has an offspring that infects A Honest Cop. Or they could do the Anti-Venom Storyline where Eddie Brock who is dying of cancer because of the Venom becomes Anti-Venom which I actually enjoyed in the Amazing Spider-Man Comics! One of the coolest things about Spider-Man TAS is how well it balanced multiple storylines that did not involve Peter with the ones that did. And I would LOVE another cross over event Between Spider-Man and the X-Men!! Because they were all in the same Universe! Just like DC comics had The animated DCU from Batman TAS, Superman TAS, Justice League TAS and others. Marvel had the shared universe of X-Men TAS and Spider-Man TAS and others! It was kinda like the OG MCU in Animation which was a really big deal for a comic book nerd like me, who grew up watching these AMAZING Animated shows on TV back in the Late 90's!
Personally, I never liked MJ being a reporter in the recent Spider-Man games. It kinda felt like they just wanted to turn her into Lois Lane from Superman. I would rather other forms of media didn't copy that can kept true to her character. Especially if a potential Spider-Man 98 was going to be more adult like the new X-Men show they could delve into some of the darker elements of MJ like the fact her partying and happy face are just her way of coping with her childhood abuse. I'm not saying it should be a major focus of the show since this is still a fun superhero series haha. Would be a good way to add some depth to her though. If they decided to go down the vampire plotline with Blade and Morbius again they could use that as an excuse to possibly introduce Morlun.
I agree completely! I never liked MJ being a Reporter either. Personally I'm more of a Fan of the version of MJ from Spider-man TAS more than most other versions of MJ, especially over most of the modern versions of MJ! I also strongly agree that they should dive deeper into MJ back story! Because I did love when they focused on MJ dealing with the feeling of abandonment from her father in Spider-Man TAS! It is very compelling for me because I personally can really relate to that MJ more as an adult than I did as a kid because I personally went through a very similar situation with my own father not that long after the original series ended. I also love that Subplot led to Spider-Man teaming up with Dr. Strange against Baron Mordo in the series. And I would love if they introduced morlun!
This is just me, but the way I'd start the first season is give it an episodic arc. The first episode focusing on Peter and Madame Web flying through the vortex of time and space. And after finding MJ, Peter and Madame Web crash land in the middle of a desert. Madame Web vanishes, and Peter is left clueless on what to do next ( like in this video here - ua-cam.com/video/sLSih2FRYBk/v-deo.html ). From there, the episodic arc begins, with the first season ending with Peter and Madame Web finding the real Mary Jane, and the three of them returning to Peter and MJ's original timeline. The final episode of the first season can also end with Peter swinging off into the sunset. On a more personal note, who should take over for the late Joan Lee as Madame Web? Also, for more of the modern characters who should be introduced in "Spider-Man '98", I'd like to see Miles Morales and Mr. Negative. Maybe even unused characters like Jack O'Lantern or Ned Leeds (who would later be brainwashed as the Hobgoblin).
@@codycoxx I think if they do bring back spiderman 98 the X-Men should have bigger roles than like cameos not like huge roles but maybe helping Spidey for an episode
I wasn't a fan of other people's pitches for a Spider-Man 97 series but this one is pretty good so far! good pitch! Rather than having ideas that shouldn't happened in the series like Miles Morales, Mister Negative, ATSV Miguel, etc, I prefer to see some 80s and 90s comic arcs that I would like to see adapted on the show such as JD's Harry Osborn storyline, Kraven's last hunt, The Rose, Torment, Clone Saga, Mary Jane's tragic backstory, and the real marriage towards Peter & MJ. I initially wanted to see an an adaption towards The Death Of Jean Dewolff but i don't know since we sort of got something similar like that from the Carnage arc and Terri Lee is the Jean Dewolff of that universe.
I totally agree! I like some of the more modern storylines that current Spider-Men go through but for a continuation of a character set in the 90s, I think continuing those old storylines would be a perfect form of storytelling for that character!
Not only would it be awesome to see Goblin again, but introducing Sandman and Max Dillion as the second Electro, as a cool way to make up for them being underused in the 90s.
well now they can use those 2 in spiderman98 introducing them and I think they could put max dillon because the first electro I don't think he will come back
I would rather have a spectacular Spider-Man continuation. I want to see MJ and Peter together, the death of Gwen, the return of the green goblin etc. I love TAS better but spectacular deserves it more.
I think Beetle, Puma and Rose were considered to appear in Season 6 of the show before it was cancelled, and there was also a chance of the Hulk making an appearance. Sandman also never appeared because of James Cameron’s cancelled movie and Ghost Rider would’ve had his own episode as well. So there’s some good ideas for a revival right there.
Soemthing that I think could be interesting is if Spider-Man crosses between dimensions/realities to find Mary-Jane, this inadvertantly gives the Green Goblin (Norman Osborn) the opportunity to escape and go after Peter and Mary-Jane. Harry Osborn who is still on the mend from his psychotic break down and in a healthy relationship with Liz Allen learns of this and is torn between loyalty to his friends and his father, but with the help from Liz, Harry decides to team up with Peter to stop his father.
I think there are definitely some arcs we can still do. We can do Demogoblin, We could do Dormammu again and have Peter team up with the Midnight Suns, whom he worked partly with in the old show. We can do Morlun and The Other, starting a comic accurate Spider-Verse event we still haven’t seen on screen. We could show MJ getting powers too, since walking through a dimensional portal in the Ultimate Universe gave the Four and Doom their powers. There are many things we COULD do. If they do a Spider-Verse Superior Spider-Man could be one of them hinting at that storyline down the road. I’d love a reboot of the show. But they need to keep what arcs they do fresh. I’d love the idea of them having a kid though.
You missed a few other points that are crucial Voice actors: Christopher Daniel Barnes NEEDS to reprise the role. Hes still in the industry and he came back for two video games so it should be easy to get him. And sadly, Doc Ocks voice actor passed so i vote William Salyers from the ps4 games to take over. Also Neil Ross as Green Goblin/Norman Osborn, Jennifer Hale as MJ and Black Cat, and Dee Bradley Baker as Carnage should come back. Kingpins VA Roscoe Lee Brown is also no longer with us, so i vote Kevin Michael Richardson to take over Villains: Sandman is an OG rogue that didnt show in the series so you can bring him in. BUT Morlun should play a big role as main antagonist as the spiderverse is a big plot point in the series. Other new villains that can appear are Molten Man, Beetle, Mr Negative, Knull, Wraith, Taskmaster, Kaine, Tarantula, The Rose, Shriek, Doppelganger, and Demogoblin
So much great stuff from the comics they could cover. For this to happen, they need to bring John Semper on board and give him absolute autonomy, I think he would do it.
Hope spider man 98 series will gave the female symbitoe of ashley kafka, annie weying,MJ,Felicia Hardy,Liz Allan Also hope to see scream, she venom, she carnage and more of symbitoe female
It’s implied that Peter goes off with Madam Web and finds MJ. The finale leaves part of the story up for interpretation or continuation, but also the happy ending Peter deserves
Shows having original villains compared to the comics used to be the norm back in the day case in point Harley Quinn when on to be one the most iconic DC characters ever originated in a cartoon and not a comic or take the 2004 Batman cartoon for example, some of the best characters in the show were the original characters
in terms of predecessors I think it would be cool if vultures granddaughter Tiana toomes showed up to fight Spider-Man and instead of hobie Brown prowler It's Uncle Aaron. Both Tiana Toomes and Uncle Aarons connection to Miles Morales in the comics could set up miles in the animated series universe and by the end of the series they have miles takeover as the new Spider-Man👀🔥
@@codycoxx I really wish I got to see the fusion of Venom and Carnage that was planned for season 2 of Spider-Man Unlimited that was going to be called King Carnage
I can't remember if this show ended when I was in the 6th grade or 7th grade. Show just disappeared. I did start watching the show again as a teenager when it used to come in the early 2000's. MJ was never found. I think they were going to clone Peter have there been anonther season.
Time skip feels like we're removing a lot of what people liked about the original series. Sure Peter can start to feel the rigors of age but only mildly, while also working out his relationship with Mary Jane after rescuing her. As for the rescue after so much wait I feel it should take a bit longer; Spider Man Unlimited is not considered the same continuity but it did have one idea I'd like to see another go at while we're travelling through dimensions- a mirror-universe dimension of the New York we know, where all the villains are heroes and vice versa, and Peter will have to ally with some of the former in order to save MJ. This is a continuation of the realization he had in Season 5 that under the right circumstances, even Spider-Man can become a villain.
Why do people want Spider-Man to retire so bad? It goes against everything that makes him special. He can’t look the other way. It’s literally built into his code. With great power, there must also come great responsibility. Which means as long as he has the power, he has the responsibility. And it’s not like he ages like a normal human. He has a healing factor. Honestly, Spider-Man could be fighting crime well into his hundreds. The point though is he can’t retire. He has to be Spider-Man until his final breath. But narratively Spider-Man should vastly eradicate crime in general. So yes, he never looks the other way, but he doesn’t really have to because crime is very scarce at this point. This whole passing, the torch thing goes completely against the character of Spider-Man. Passing the torch is relinquishing one’s responsibility to someone else. That is the antithesis of Peter Parker’s code.
I think an adult married Peter Parker could fit into X-men 97. They return to their original world, but it’s the world of X-men 97 episode 8. He comes back to operation zero tolerance.
Hope 1994 tas revival show maybe Peter stuck dark universe hunt by kingpin Spider-Man who has Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy. Peter with help madam web save both mj and Gwen and bought back original universe. Then make Gwen and Mj as allies on street to eyes of Peter
Spider Man has a lot more villains than what was on STAS. If one was to do research you can bring any number of obscure foes that you can revamp or reimagine. Why not bring in Jack O’Lantern? How about the Goblin Nation or The Jackal as his new main villain? There’s also Tarantula, Will O’ The Wisp, Man Mountain Marko, Lightmaster, Black Tarantula, The Enforcers, Rose and others. I would bring Puma in as a competitor of Norman Osborn.
I totally agree! I was just thinking for more of a mainstream audience a large majority of Spider-Man’s most famous villains were already used in STAS. I think having a mix of the more obscure villains and his original is the way to go!
@@codycoxx I agree with using original villains too. These days most productions won’t create original characters like that in fear of losing the rights to them.
I believe a continuation should happen but your story I dont agree with, what it should be is 1 season long and peter goes through other dimensions (through the older cartoons I agree and set up freshman year through this), this way we get the end of this show and gets up excited for freshman year if it is still happening.
What would be the point of doing this if they would only be one season? I feel like doing a reboot for one season only two pointless in the direction of another upcoming series and a disservice to the original source material
Won’t work what makes the X-Men so unique is there sticking with the format of the comic books everything you see in XM 97 somewhat happened in the comic books that means every narration we seen so far is somewhat from the comic books writing an original script won’t work. They have to stick with the comics that’s how the show started that the show should go. Everything we seen in the series was connected to the comics from him meeting Mary Jane, did the black cat showing up that was part of the original comics you don’t have to go script by script line by line but you have to stick to the narration of the comic books. That’s the point you can’t write anything original because you’re gonna piss off comic book fans that’s what makes his new version of the X-Men so popular, what happened on that island actually happened in the comic books. It won’t work.
This just isn’t Spider-Man TAS. It’s too gritty, too real. Honestly, the pitch is good, but isn’t STAS. I like what another UA-camr said, “Give it to Agent Spider” from Invincible (or at least someone else). The only viable move with STAS is exploring the multiverse, although the doing more multiverse stuff may be received poorly today. STAS also wouldn’t last more than 1 short-ish season Again, this idea is good, but not for Spider-Man TAS
@@mayotango1317 to be quite honest with you I really dont see the appeal of an married spider man. Sure I don’t want him to be in high school all the time but I really don’t care for it. Plus if peter were to retire it would ruin his character since realistically Peter would never retire no matter how old he is but I guess people can’t understand that

Kid these reboot series aren’t for you for 30 and 40 year old kids that watch the original series they’re not made for you if you watch them you enjoy them that’s good but they’re not making the series just for your generation. These reboots were all part of our generation Millennials not Gen Z or alpha You’re dead you guys have to start thinking outside of yourself you’re gonna end up just like the baby boomers
I wouldn't see Bullseye (When Daredevil crosses over or could be hired by Wilson Fisk or Norman Osborn) or Jigsaw (When Punisher crosses over) in the revival of the 90s Spider-Man cartoon. That could be cool.
I want to see the punisher show up in an X-Men episode maybe he’s going after a serial killer who targets mutants, but crosses paths with the X-Men on a combined mission

Miles Morales is trash and will always be trash.
It would be perfect because spiderman 98 and xmen 97 are in the same universe
Totally agree!!
Great video and concept! Im doing a video on why certain spider people arent in the spider society
Thank you man! I’ll have to check that out when it comes out
@@codycoxx Your welcome!
The thing that ALWAYS abhorred me in this series was how Peter and MJ always uses the same cloths. Everyday. That is the thing they had to change.
Not only would it be awesome to see Goblin again, but introducing Sandman and Max Dillion as the second Electro, as a cool way to make up for them being underused in the 90s.
I totally agree!! Bring them on!
well now they can use those 2 in spiderman98 introducing them and I think they could put max dillon because the first electro I don't think he will come back
I agree with having love and respect, along with it being genuine which goes without saying or implying.
Cool
I would rather have a spectacular Spider-Man continuation. I want to see MJ and Peter together, the death of Gwen, the return of the green goblin etc. I love TAS better but spectacular deserves it more.
Can you do a video "What would Fantastic Four '96 series look like?"
Absolutely I can! I’d have to re watch the series bc I forgot most of it but yes I’ll do it
big up yourself also id love to see it
Thanks man! I love the 90’s series and it would be so cool to see a fresh take on it
@@codycoxx yeah it's literally our 90s childhood would love to see it
I think Beetle, Puma and Rose were considered to appear in Season 6 of the show before it was cancelled, and there was also a chance of the Hulk making an appearance. Sandman also never appeared because of James Cameron’s cancelled movie and Ghost Rider would’ve had his own episode as well. So there’s some good ideas for a revival right there.
Those are definitely some good ideas to add in as well!
Id also give characters who appeared previously but focus on their marvel knights comics like punisher
Spider-Man should have two spinoff shows that focuses on Venom and Morbius starring Hank Azaria and Nick Jameson
That’s a cool idea! It kinda reminds me of spider-man 3 where they team up at the end of
I think there are definitely some arcs we can still do.
But who should be the voice of Kingpin because his Original voice actor passed away
Idk.. just make sure it’s not AI
They could do the Superior Spiderman storyline
If this happend next year. I want to see come back green goblin, doc ock and electro. And for new villian maybe we got a chance to see sandman!
You missed a few other points that are crucial
Voice actors: Christopher Daniel Barnes NEEDS to reprise the role. Kingpins VA Roscoe Lee Brown is also no longer with us, so i vote Kevin Michael Richardson to take over
Villains: Sandman is an OG rogue that didnt show in the series so you can bring him in.
These are both great points! I totally agree
Just bring back spider-man unlimited
Why not both
I thought spider man 98 was c9nnected to unlimited☠️
@@TheproWelshnope
@@TheproWelshit was post ,but saban lost the rights to it when Disney purchased marvel
@@codycoxx good idea
So much great stuff from the comics they could cover. For this to happen, they need to bring John Semper on board and give him absolute autonomy, I think he would do it.
That would be awesome
Also give us more villains too. Give even stupid one like white rabbit
I’d love that
Hope spider man 98 series will gave the female symbitoe of ashley kafka, annie weying,MJ,Felicia Hardy,Liz Allan
Also hope to see scream, she venom, she carnage and more of symbitoe female
How did it end in a perfect way if it ended in a cliffhanger?
It’s implied that Peter goes off with Madam Web and finds MJ. The finale leaves part of the story up for interpretation or continuation, but also the happy ending Peter deserves
Shows having original villains compared to the comics used to be the norm back in the day case in point Harley Quinn when on to be one the most iconic DC characters ever originated in a cartoon and not a comic or take the 2004 Batman cartoon for example, some of the best characters in the show were the original characters
Well they decided to introduce Toxin into it they could have Flash Thompson become his host as a nod to Agent Venom.
in terms of predecessors I think it would be cool if vultures granddaughter Tiana toomes showed up to fight Spider-Man and instead of hobie Brown prowler It's Uncle Aaron. Both Tiana Toomes and Uncle Aarons connection to Miles Morales in the comics could set up miles in the animated series universe and by the end of the series they have miles takeover as the new Spider-Man👀🔥
And we can finally see real guns, actual fight scenes, they could even say bomb on the show lol
With so many limitations it still ended up a banger
It’s over when this spider-man can punch people
I want both Spider-Man TAS and Spider-Man Unlimited to continue
Me too man!
4:45 did ya forgot Mayday and anni- oh yeah Benji cause he has potential but ya know what happened to him the comics right?!
Awesome take.. great ideas
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Best idea for it I’ve heard so far
Thank you man ❤️
Silver Surfer next!
I was thinking about doing that it a video with all of the 90’s series!
How come this Peter Parker didnt show up in No Way Home!?!
That would be so interesting
Peter never met Gwen in this universe, other than an alternate version
I can’t wait to hear your Ptich
Very good take
A cliche take.
Hope we can see spider female and hope we can see spider team ally with symbitoe
I could see them bring in miles morales well as peters son
I believe a continuation should happen but your story I dont agree with, what it should be is 1 season long and peter goes through other dimensions (through the older cartoons I agree and set up freshman year through this), this way we get the end of this show and gets up excited for freshman year if it is still happening.
What would be the point of doing this if they would only be one season? I feel like doing a reboot for one season only two pointless in the direction of another upcoming series and a disservice to the original source material
@@codycoxx what other story is their to tell, the only loose end is mj nothing else needs to be said. And quality over quantity

perfect ending? spiderman ended with peter trying to find mj with madam web. no conclusion to did he find her or anything.
and in '98 we'll get to meet...

Miles isn't getting a trilogy yet Tom Will finish his second trilogy first
why reboot this one when you can reboot spectacular spiderman?
It would be huge
Why not both 😏
Include iceman and firestar
How about rebooting Batman The animated series first
We’d be so back
Won’t work what makes the X-Men so unique is there sticking with the format of the comic books everything you see in XM 97 somewhat happened in the comic books that means every narration we seen so far is somewhat from the comic books writing an original script won’t work.
Why not make it mayday who already exists
We could do both🤷🏼♂️
job?
Get a job!!!
STAS also wouldn’t last more than 1 short-ish season
Again, this idea is good, but not for Spider-Man TAS
Thank you for your feedback! I agree with the multiverse part being over saturated, that’s why I wanted to try something different!
Think ur thumbnail says ptich instead of pitch. Struggled reading it ngl
No it’s just the font from STAMS. It’s weird lol
Just adapt Mayday's Spidergirl cómics.

I wouldnt bother looking for MJ,Gwen is the goat in all universes 😂
I wouldn't see Bullseye (When Daredevil crosses over or could be hired by Wilson Fisk or Norman Osborn) or Jigsaw (When Punisher crosses over) in the revival of the 90s Spider-Man cartoon. That could be cool.
I want to see the punisher show up in an X-Men episode maybe he’s going after a serial killer who targets mutants, but crosses paths with the X-Men on a combined mission
