In New Zealand for my age group (12), it's super competitive. We can run 400m under a minute, 100m under 13 sec, 200m under 28 secs, and 800m under 2:50 minutes.
I have my big track meet in another country in a week I’m the youngest on my team and if any of the girls are this fast, I’m dead mEEt (yes I did just do that) I’m going to work hard though, I have 200,400,200,400,800 the other 200 and 400 are relay, but don’t forget about finals

They did a 3 point stagger, meaning that after 3 curves are run, the runners can cut in. Where I run in New England we did a 3 point stagger at our States meet, either 2 point or 3 point stagger is the most common
when i watch people partake in these events i get nervous, im learning how to control it so i can do my 400m confidently
