100% agree regarding front flippers. I have been obsessed with them. In fact, most in my collection happen to be a FF. My Berg Mini Sweeney, Pena Paramour, After Hours Jack, Vero Axon and Arkona Buran all have the option to FF. I've gotta get that Beer Buster Junior in my life lol Edit: shoot now I need a Kingpin 🔥
some suggestions: try the sharp by design mini tempest (my favorite front flipper), the TW price dawn, and the CKF FIF20. those are some top-of-the-line production front flippers.
People can say what they want about front flippers, but having nothing in the cutting path (holes, studs, fullers/nail nicks etc) is the best thing in my opinion (ps. Tom, the Kingpin fuller is beautiful - I’m willing to cop that) 🙌 🙇
Not just the benny but their other frame locks as well. I have a Gunslinger and that front flipper is the best i’ve used personally. I’m sure benny is just as good too. That king pin looks sweet, i’ll have keep an eye out for that.
Great video! Opening a front-flipper for the first time is tricky. I recommend using a more affordable front-flipper for the first time. Don't do a high-end knife at a knife show if you've never done it before (unless you bought it first).
I've no problem with a front flipper, but not as the only deployment or not as a daily driver if the only deployment (arthritic thumb and the forefinger roll over isn't efficient enough for me at work). I do love my front flippers though. ✌🏼🤘🏼
Yes front flippers are the coolest ways to open a knife. You can open it multiple ways with a ff. Tired of those boring flipper tabs or thumb studs. Have you try the kizer militaw or Varatas?
Most of these I'd consider more of a "Top Flipper" VS Front. The full out front flippers suck imo, but a good top flipper is my favorite deployment. Love my Pena Apache.
Esnyx Workhorse is by far the best FF for me...it has ruined pretty much all other FF in that particular space for me as well(sold my FF penas bc of it)...i prefer hole deployment overall though...
