how did you get the exhaust flange on manifold back on ,its a swine ito get back together ,wors still if you have the one with the two clips on (i managed to get them on ) but its trying to line the flange up thats a problem.
Why is the top 1/2" of threads missing in each head bolt hole ?Could it be that is part of the reason these blow so many head gaskets ?
Also great video, you've helped a lot with my vw engine endeavors
Why are ther no threads for the eirst 1/2 inch or so ?
What manual are you using? I'd like to purchase one

What kind of bit do you use for the cilinder head
It is a triple square. I bought mine a long time ago, I believe it is from Hazet.
