- Brush tail fishing lures part 2 - how I paint fishing lures.
Finally decided to actually paint these things and I slightly modified one of the lures by adding the longear gill of a sunfish.
The second lure I just experimented during the painting process to see what I could come up with.
I tried these lures in the river and they had a very stable straight glide.
To improve these lures I will probably do some surgery and put the tail on a hinge or swivel and possibly add a lip to help improve the action.
See you on the next build.
Big thanks to “@Dead Meat Customs” for these crazy looking eyes! 👀

@CreatexColors thanks!
Awesome job mate 👍👌
I really like this build!!!! Kind of like a Gothic vampire looking sunfish. Those eyes are killer, pardon the pun. Very well done!!!
This would be cool too if you made a "v" cut in the middle and made it a two piece articulated piece.
Good idea for future build.
Thanks for the awesome comments!
Awesome 👌!!!

Nice video, nice job on the lures! How did you make the lure turner?
I used a geared motor and switch, 1 alligator clip mounted to the shaft of the motor and the other clip to a shaft that I fabricated to a bearing and mounted it to some 3/8’s plywood with 3 pvc pipes that slide for different size lure’s.
@@Builtin79 what type of motor did you use?
@@olddadoutdoors The best way to explain is to show you.
Google “ASMO 873600-072 motor” it’s the one with the gray case.
I bought a box of them at a garage sale years ago.
@@Builtin79 thank you!
