I have a skork, a spork with a can opener in the handle, and a couple of spooniks, which are stainless steel sporks with a serrated edge on one side. This one looks really impressive. I love the size, as well as the can opener and tiny wrenches. ( I notice she got a little dessicant as a prize in her food!) Thanks for the review and link.
First it serves as a stopper/measuring device so you can pour the amount of fuel you want and then move the penny to let it drain down into the lower portion of the stove. It also acts as a pressure regulator and keeps your last fuel pour up top so you can light it and prime the flame. The heat causes the fuel in the center to run under the penny. Then as the fuel level falls & the fuel underneath the penny starts to boil, the pressure falls & the penny seals to force all gasses out the six jets
Not sure if it matters but I would want use a copper penny, last made in 1981 if you want to be sure. The US Mint transitioned pennies from copper to zinc with a copper coating in 1982. You can tell the 1982 copper ones by dropping it from about 9-12 inches onto a hard surface. The copper ones have a nice lively ring, the zinc ones sound dull and lifeless. :-)
I just wanted to say that I love your gun related/shooting videos, and I would like it if you did more videos like this style. With survival tools that aren't the repeated knives, guns, and general self defense stuff. It's good to see new things like this. I think I might buy a spork.
I cut the bag to avoid carrying a long utensil. I like the lid-lifter end, however. That's cool. I suppose you could get double use out of that huge Ti spoon/spork as a trowel too.
They are rather beat. I use the fork and spoon in one. It's a harden plastic. You are right, it doesn't go to the bag like yours. Need to look I to them. Thanks. Have a good day ..
American MRE's had the best racing spoons, the long handle was perfect to dip into cook pots for a quick taste. This American Kami spark looks like the Ultimate Racing Spoon tho'.
$44, plus shipping for one. Daaaamn! I'm thinking I can wash my hands right now. LOL All kidding aside, they look wicked awesome! How light / heavy do they feel; because there are many types of Titanium out there. Thanks for the link, love the knives and swords on the website!
lol. I kid you not, I just had the idea about a spork yesterday, and having the can opener at the end. :D Doh! Good ideas are always already taken... but I didn't think of the hex keys. :D lol
I just watched a review on The Ultimate Spork. That's got to be some kind of sign. You should fix a rail to it, and paint it black... then it could be The Ultimate Tactical Spork.
Well,...when you get to near the bottom of the bag, use a knife to cut a few inches of bag off the top! (or fold some of the bag over if, God forbid, you don't have a knife available in the woods) No need for a bigger and bulkier spork. Gotta think outside the box,...or, ......in this case,...outside the bag :-) The Snow Peak version is plenty long when using this method, and at just $11 one quarter of the cost of the American Kami spork. Don't get me wrong,...I'd love to own one,...just not worth $44 to me.
Its a nice spoon but for $44...? Sea to Summit makes a long handle spoon that is going to be lighter than that and it only cost $8, but it is made of aluminum and not Ti. But Vargo makes it in a Ti version for $14.
KFS and army issue rat packs. Thats all i need. i tried eating cerial once with a spork and stabbed myself in the gums, so i just stick to standard KFS
With scenery like that I would be spending more time out doors as well! Awesome video!
great..now I have a craving for Mountain House Beef Stew. Thanks.
American Kami looks awesome, thanks for sharing.
Very cool. Thank you for sharing, Falia!
These look awesome! Thanks for doing the review. I am definitely going to buy a couple of these. Keep up the good work!
I hope you realize how awesome you are. You do great videos and we appreciate your insight and experience.

Been looking for something like these, thanks for another great review! ;)
You rule as always, Falia.
It was made according to the instructions from the webpage link under the video

Thank you for this review! I check out his web site and forget the spoon what about the knives! Awesome blades and affordable prices!

It's good to see new things like this. I think I might buy a spork.
I like the little cooking stove.
The spork is nice but I do not think I buy one until I had the other cooking essentials.
I cut the bag to avoid carrying a long utensil. I like the lid-lifter end, however. That's cool. I suppose you could get double use out of that huge Ti spoon/spork as a trowel too.
Because they taste great!
Funny. I have the two other sporks also. Kami here I come. Thank you.
thats actually pretty cool!
Yeah, I was amazed when you said that...
Great video. Those are too big and pricey for me though. Interesting cooking setup you use. What is the purpose of the penny?
I get those same meals from Academy Sports in Tuscaloosa, there really good great vid keep them coming. SEMPER FI

Good stuff!

God, the stuff in that website are SO awesome! But also SO pricy!
Guess reading the description would have answered the preceding question.
How do you always find the coolest stuff no one else has? ._.
$44, plus shipping for one. Daaaamn!

you are like the most awesome woman i have come across on youtube! :D so informative I love your videos!
yeah they definitely don't look tsa compliant to me either but he says that they are
I bought both of them
It will be a dark day in hell when I don't have access to the ultimate spoon.
very nice , but a little high for my buget - somthing i may concider in the future :)
So size does matter ; )
Good vid.
i think your awesome so thank you for being you
I just watched a review on The Ultimate Spork.

Hmm might try to make one from scrap Ti, 44$ actually seems pretty cheep for Ti even that much (especially if its mil grade)
Its missing a knife as the light my fire one has though. For cutting the outer side of that fork cuts.
that is cool.
I used to do that but now I don't have to :)
Nice to finally see a man sized spoon.
I carry a Snow Peak Ti "spork" and a ti stove
I have one of these, but I cut the bag sideways anyway... less mess.
What kind of pot is that?
You keep showing me great products and companies that I didn't know about. My wallet hates you! (Though I'm thankful!)
Ok nevermind, i saw your answer regarding the penny as i was perusing all the comments. Thx.
you made a sale! I got one.
i always cut the top of the bag off...it works for me
What is the penny for?

Why not? Don't you think it's useful to have a tool to open cans or lift something that's too hot that you can't handle with your fingers?
Its a nice spoon but for $44...? Sea to Summit makes a long handle spoon that is going to be lighter than that and it only cost $8, but it is made of aluminum and not Ti. But Vargo makes it in a Ti version for $14.
whats the penny do?
you re pretty cool
My favorite is beef stroganoff, but their chicken teriyaki runs a close second.
Why do you carry a spork in your purse?
Hmm... I think I'd just buy a few cheap plastic sporks and use a pocket knife to cut the bag shorter...
Definitely the toughest production spork in the market.
Beef stroganof is best.
although anything is good on a 20 mile trail blazing hike up hills...
I cut my bags shorter as i work my way down
howz a spork like playin basketball? Ya dribble!
are camping on the penisula, looks beautiful
Or cut off the top half of the bag.
KFS and army issue rat packs. Thats all i need. i tried eating cerial once with a spork and stabbed myself in the gums, so i just stick to standard KFS
But can you open a can, lift a hot pot with it? ;)
Only TSA could see a spork as a weapon. :(
OK, you were right, i was wrong...
I understand why one would need freeze dried food a Shtf scenario.
As a chef i dont get why people would choose to eat this stuff for fun.
That's nice for you. Perhaps someone doesn't want to pack a knife, or take off their shirt.
i like em but $44 a piece iono
wow maybe just cut the bag derp.
Cool stuff however this website does not impress :P
I asked the Light my fire company and their titanium Spork is Chinese :(
looks like some great products . but i cant think of a more horrible name for a an American business.
