Thank you very much. I really appreciate the information. I’m going to try and do the tear of my self save money, purchase shark skin or zip for the underlayment myself. And then have the roofers come and install the metal roofing after the underlayment is done. Great information. Thank you so much. Idaho
I'm just blindly searching roofing.. developed some leaks after a wind storm and losing some shingles. Don't have much in the way of disposable income so I'm doing anything I can to not only save money but not spend it
Im interested in the tricks for evening out the waves in a roof. Pull plywood up and shim? Best way to make a straight but sloped plane to measure to? Thanks!
Me too. I have some major waves going on in one portion and on another part of the house the peak has dipped about a foot lower in the center than it is on the ends. Whomever built my house should have never been in this profession.
Hey Kevin, I hear ya. We're doing a full standing seam install on the house behind me in the video. It transitions from a vaulted ceiling to an attic space halfway through and right at the transition is a huge hump. We did a whole video about how we leveled out that section as best we could to get it as flat as possible. Keep an eye out for it! -Thad
