Same. My boyfriend has been driving his motorcycle (about two weeks ago). But randomly, another motorcycle sped off from a street, perpendicularly towards my bf. My bf immediately hit the brakes and the other motorcycle hit his front wheel so my bf fell down while the other rider flew off. The rider was a 14 years old kid, with no license and no helmet. If my boyfriend hit the brakes a little later, it might've ram his leg. And he might've fell down further away towards the center of the traffic. He got off with scratches, but it was enough for us to lose a couple of sleep.
But I quite don't blame the kid. His guardian (grandpa) came to the police station, a little drunk and refused to pay my boyfriend the entire bill so they agreed 70:30. He said the kid wasn't his responsibility. He was talking about how the child's father would beat the kid up as soon as they're home. It was awful. The kid wasn't even brought to the hospital.

Two girls in their early twenties got in the car with a kid the same age, he was driving recklessly and at extremely high speed keep in mind we’re in buffalo NY and it’s winter so the roads are ice. He lost control and slammed into mailboxes and trees and the car set on fire. The two girls died but he survived. It's a different crime, but a former Miami police chief turned mayor used his sway to get his son a better deal and quiet journalists after his little psychopath SAd 2 girls at knife point. One story really sticks with my dad till this day involving a 16 year old teen boy who died in my dad’s arms crying for his mom. Driving is so serious. It’s a privilege not a right. We are traveling in literal soda cans. Please don’t drink and drive, there are zero excuses these days with the access of Uber and Lyft. No one else is consenting to your bad choices on the road, and some of us are just trying to get home to families that need us. Absolutely judge and ridicule someone if they think drinking and driving is cool. I’m serious. It’s just not okay anymore and with the rise of car meets and injuries from them we need to use our remaining brain cells and do better.

Chase Jones has multiple previous accidents on his record and he admitted that speed was a contributing factor on body cam footage. Chase is currently on house arrest waiting for trial!!!! There are so many details but I hope you look into this. It reminds me of the girl who killed her boyfriend Dom and his friend Josh, while driving recklessly at over 100 mph into a wall down a residential street. Then while she was out on bail right before her trial, she dressed as a bag of weed and then a zombie for Halloween; like this perpetrator she showed no remorse. I'm not really sure of her name, remembering the victims is more important to me. I can't believe his mother bailed him out. I don't know why I'm shocked that she's STILL spoiling her brat and STILL isn't interested in him being held accountable for his actions. I feel like the mom needs to be held responsibile too. I won't go so far as to say she did "nothing" but it certainly wasn't enough. She also made some very, very obvious mistakes that would have been super easy to avoid.
The average person knows that their 12 year old kid shouldn't be driving at that age.
The average person knows that their 16 year old kid shouldn't have a fake ID.
The average person knows it's wrong to ask their teenage child to buy them alcohol.
The average person knows it's not okay to let their kid speed once, let alone almost 100 times.
The average person would revoke their kid's license once they found out they had driven so dangerously.
I fully believe, since he repeatedly laid hands on his mother, that she was terrified of him...but at the end of the day she is the parent. I'm a mother and I'd rather my kid hate me if it meant it kept everyone alive. Because I am the parent. Being a parent isn't easy. It's even harder when when there is a lot of anger in the home. When there is (alleged alcoholism) it's even harder....but at the end of the day...although her feelings of fear are very much valid her actions were not and so she should also be held responsible. (Alleged) alcoholism and fear is not an excuse when it comes to protecting the rest of the world from YOUR kid.
The kid? Life in prison. He's not sorry. He'll hurt people, especially women, the longer he gets to be on the streets. I hope his girlfriend runs.
This whole thing kinda reminds me of one of the Murdaugh kids because he was driving a boat dangerously and it got a girl killed and he was smirking about it and it was this whole thing and then at the end he got off because he was a Murdaugh. Then there is the infamous Teddy Kennedy case. Beware the rich even if you are rich. They're gonna eat you and get away with it. They almost always do.

It seems like the mom treated her son like a surrogate partner, (not saying in full partner bedroom way) which is abusive, so he, in turn, returned abuse with abuse. She definitely should face some kind of consequences, but our justice system doesn't deserve that name so, I'm sure she'll be just fine.

Side note: why fix a problem when you get so much attention from the problem?
"Oh (momsname) you poor thing, you're so good to (sonsname) and see how he treats you, let me take you out for some libations you poor poor dear"

Like the case of a spoil 18 year old Cameron Herrin the time of 2018 was drag racing with his friend killed a mother and her baby daughter, he was charged and sentenced to 24 years in prison.

I thought the intro was for another video but it's for this. I usually read the title then get the general idea of the video, then steph also usually just jump right into it so i was initially confused as to what that intro was about😂

The way my mom would smack me and never let me drive EVER if I went even 15 over the speed limit, and his mom doesn’t take the keys when he’s going well over 4x the speed limit is insane.

How do these peoples thought processes even work? Is there not even an inch of the concept of consequences? Like really? What do they use their braincells for

I am a proponent for parents rights. Which means parents are responsible for their children, not the government. So, holding those beliefs, the parents should be held accountable. If she couldn’t control him, then she should have gotten help for him!

The mother had knowledge of his violations in regards to his reckless driving. She also encouraged his violations of the law when she got him to run errands to the local liquor shop. She needs to stand responsible for her actions and inactions in this travesty.
