This musician has lived in my head for about 20 years! So glad my sister gave me a burned CD of Room for Squares around 2001! Last month, I got to dance with my daughter at her wedding (she wanted a mom-daughter dance :-)) She agreed to Stop this Train for this special dance - couldn't tell you how happy I was!! Topped off a perfect wedding!
He always was a great songwriter. Good to see he's still writing and enjoying his wonderful guitar playing and singing. I love his acoustic work - well, I love all his work. But he's mellowed and seems relaxed and happy, and it suits him.
I'm proud to enjoy someone who has saved his own life...he escaped Hollywood literally in time..knows what he enjoys wants and needs to give in life. I love him for this. I'm sorry he lost a good friend who likely had much to do with helping John make some major decisions.
Every time I think I hear the best live versions of these amazing songs, I hear new ones and love them even more. Such an amazing talent and human. Fan for life.

I’m kind of upset that it really seems he has a weak signal from his guitar the whole night. It seemed liked he realizes it at the start, tried his best to get the sound guys to figure something out. Realizes that nothing is gonna happen and that the show must go on, and now this guy has to go try his best with a shitty guitar signal. That must suck. But dam, what a professional. Still sounds killer

Like right now in tears " the words " somehow you got trough " Jesus knows .God and His Son Jesus brought me and manny of us trough that walk the path of the Soldier in and for The Kingdom of God some that can not even share what they went trough or go trough with others because they are still going trough it because Jesus has not returned yet and i believe even real soldiers that are serving their countries come or came back from not beautifull experiances can feel a song like that you dont know John ,i believe when they hear this they feel it to .When a artist write a song and releases it he or she is not there with everyone when it reaches the soul how far in the world whenever or whenever it gets played on the radio or wherever it is heard or how deep it reaches or not or how it is expetianced or recieved .
