Cause he doesn't tour with Robbie McIntosh or Steve Jordan as much anymore and they provide so much soul and nuance to his band when he toured with them. Wish I could've been there. 😭

Underclass Hero I realized that when recently he said somewhere that he now has a rule that the songs he’s making needs to sound good on an acoustic guitar
He just gave up. Not in a bad way. He gave up holding back. He didn't care what anyone thought or what anyone wanted to hear. He just played. And he did it in a way only he knows how. It's amazing to think that he's still doing this now. Only better.
The tone of his guitar is sick. It gives me goosebumps. Love it. His Jimi Hendrix Monterey Pop strat is my favorite guitar of his. The solo is amazing!
@@richat1691 it’s more the amps man trust me, he’s getting back into his two rocks but those things are ridiculous. I just got hold of a traditional clean, best amp I’ve ever played. This was his prime, the two JM sig two rocks.
My drum teacher used to show us this live to demonstrate how you can add power and energy to a rather calm verse without playing too loud. I think a lot of the feeling of that tune is due to the drummer.
