u saved my life chemistry exam is tommorow and my brain was not able to understand the last revision with the teacher. thanks god continue doing such videos its so helpful btw ur handwriting is cool👏👏
I have a question, why does sulfur trioxide turn into sulfate? And there are 2 hydrogens in the product bc the charge of sulfate is -2 right? Or is SO4 sulfur tetraoxide instead of sulfate? If that is the case then why is there 2 hydrogens in the product?
You are correct, it is sulfate with a -2 charge which is why there are 2 H’s in the formula. As far as “why”, the generic short answer is that sulfate is more stable than sulfur trioxide.
