      I got yesterday an opportunity for my channel, using 2 video animations software. I just need to put a 1 minute part into my video, with my face, how I use it. I get a composition and free use of the software for it in return. Very cool this. But where to put it, beginning, in the end?

    • @PrettyScary
      @PrettyScary 4 роки тому

      Yes! I'm currently in the process of overhauling my channel (I've been going a few years but haven't been consistent enough, I'm currently sitting at 1.3k subs and over 200k views). As part of my pivot I have devised a monetisation strategy (after reading UA-cam secrets - thanks Sean and Benji), and brand deals is in that strategy, but I have put it as a future strategy (for once I get more established). This video, however, has turned that on it's head and I have realised that I can actually incorporate Brand deals into my strategy FAR earlier than I ever anticipated, so THANKYOU for this video! So helpful! And congrats to Oliver on his success to far - he's an inspiration!

    THIS IS LITERALLY THE VIDEO I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR! Everyone's talking about tips for affiliate marketing, but they all seems to gloss over how you actually get started as a small creator and how it's perfectly possible to make a good income with a small channel. I'm hoping by the end of this year I'll be able to turn YT into a full time job, and when I've mentioned this to my friends (with currently only just over 3k subscribers) I know they haven't taken it seriously and it's made me doubt myself at times. This is so encouraging and just what I needed to watch today. Thank you so much - please make more content on actually getting started (how to approach brands, how to seek out partnerships, how to build strong relationships with brands as a small creator etc etc). It's all well and good knowing how to go about affiliate marketing once you actually start working with the brands, but finding those business relationships in an authentic way is something that just isn't talked about enough!
    Thank youuuuuu x

    Hi Sean, thanks for this topic for discussion. I have been with you since the 200k subscriber mark and have seen your channel and business grow. You now have staff and employees helping to grow the brand "Think Media". I have few questions I would like to ask you... how would you classify your business? Is it small or medium enterprise kind of set up, and where will you draw the line when you have expanded enough to sit back and let it take off, and work for you? I am asking this because you have inspired me to seriously consider looking at setting up my own, and help people as well.

    Suggesting he specifically words the service like it’s a new package that he has available is excellent advice. These types of adjustments to your salesmanship make all the difference in the world. I’d suggest to take it one step further and optimize some specific wording into 1-2 sentence standalone statements that appeal to the goals/mission statement of the non-profit and can be inserted into the conversation at different times. This strategy is excellent for adding value to yourself when you feel more is needed at a certain time, can be used to steer a conversation away from something negative or towards something positive and are a great way to add late value near the end of a conversation, as to be one of the final sticking points for them to factor as they consider your proposal. This works very well in all forms for sales efforts. Everything from products to job interviews to convincing your parents of an allowance raise. And an easy way to add a simple punch to anything you say is to speak in definitive terms, omit contractions, adjust articles such as the to thee and include a brief pause after for emphasis. A simple example; instead of saying “It’s the best product on the market,” saying “This is thee…best product on the market!”

I’m growing my channel using business cards, and it’s been working in recent days. My question is for a purely Christian channel, what are the best options for income? (Looking into it for the future so I can best equip myself now.) Thank you!

      Of course it is possible to grow on YT, but not in the way your are doing so, I recommend you focus on getting a physical (non-online) job and just do UA-cam as a hobby with a potential to grow on the side.

      I have been doing youtube for a lil while now and regardless of what camera ur using I think the first, most important thing to invest in is a tripod (I mean if ur a vlogger I guess its not that important😂). There are a bunch out there but if you choose to get one and you are using ur phone to record your vids make sure that it comes with an attachment to hold your phone. I recommend the Abithid tripod from amazon, its for phones or cameras and is probably my favorite thing out of all my other yt gear, I have no complaints. Hope this helps!!!

      @Yovelin Florentino - Utilize natural light for good lighting if you don’t have any other source. I use my smartphone for now as camera. Videoleap for editing. I have a tripod and a gimbal that I just purchased. I think content is still king. Other areas like lighting and editing follows to add quality. I’m still new and mistakes happen all the time but I guess the key is to continue and gain experience.

      itskatryn Thanks for the advice. You can see our content in our channel “Quenny Vida Simple”. Drop by so you can see what we have been doing. Likewise, with a smartphone as camera and homemade lighting...

      Stella Sherburn Thanks for the advice. I’m actually looking at some tripods to invest in. Also a gimble would be very useful for me.

    This is really helpful. Definitely learned a lot regarding digital marketing and I will have to level up my skills in that area 😁🙌 I’ve been doing a lot of reviews of dog products lately so is it too soon for me to reach out to companies since my channel is so small?

    Thank you for this gem of a video however as a small channel with a growing audience let’s say about 2k at the moment what would be the best route in terms of finding a brand or any sort of sponsorship like what resources would really be more beneficial to me as a someone who just vlogs and does podcasting ?

    Woooow this is so inspiring!!! It feels so attainable at this level to get a brand deal, I have about 1500 subscribers so it doesn’t seem so daunting that I could actually do this full-time
