My VERY FIRST leo baby threw its tiny little tail as I was transferring it from the incubator tub to the baby tub. I was gutted! I knew they could do that, but I thought I was being really, really careful! It has grown back really well, and it's actually hard to tell that it's a regenerated tail. I also have a Super Typhoon adult female with a regenerated tail. Thanks for the info! AND... the new BP we got from you the other day says '~~~HI!~~~' (still haven't figured out a name for him)

awww so awesome! Yeah babies are a little different i will never grab babies, always let them crawl onto my hands, and if i do grab them its ever so quick and by their body, ive never had issues with this b4 either but every gecko is different you know, i should do a video on that too haha thanks for the input! :D :D

Yeh it just takes lots of time and handling to get comfortable but is by far the fastest and easiest way to check females for ovulation that ive come accross, also in my opinion the least stressful way, cuz they just chill there on your hand while u can check for seconds and seconds lolol :D :D TY for your input! :D :D

If you actually check where he’s holding the gecko you’d realise that it’s at the base of the tail which doesn’t harm the animal

I've only had my Houdini for 9 months now -- and for 3 of that he was missing, that's how he got his name, he has escaped his enclosure TWICE in the first month I had him -- and he's bitten me once. Definitely don't recommend it! Not sure which is worse, leopard gecko or bearded dragon bites...
Thanks for the video, always trying to learn new things about Houdini. Definitely got a new subscriber thanks to this video!

My very first baby leopard gecko dropped his tail because when I was taking him out of his tank to put him in a tub so I could clean his humid hide out, he dropped it right then and there. I was so scared- i thought i put him under stress or I had hurt him. Then I found out it was just something they did!
