  • In chapter 3 I will be rough carving from a wet 3,000 lb. myrtlewood root ball the abstract sculptural table that as it unfolds begins to remind me of a swallowtail butterfly. This video is the third of 9 chapters in my 81 minute documentary titled "The creation of abstract form in wood: Carving sculptural tables." More information can be found on my website www.davidgroth.com.
