    Nice work, thanks for posting. Have worked out of Fairview, Coquille areas in Oregon. Laverne county park has nice specimens of myrtle and fir. Have seen very large remnant and live Myrtewood trees. Just put up piece of myrtlewood door trim from wood we got 40 years ago. Was surprised to hear word kiln, but followed by 6 weeks made sense for such figured wood. What temperatures does piece go thru in 6 weeks if you do not mind?

      The temperature in my kiln is 130 degrees with high moisture content kept high for the first 3 or 4 weeks. Thanks.

    Dug a 4 ft walnut stump. So much grit and rocks I gave up on it. It was embedded thoroughly.

      Yes I've had the same sort of problems at times with tree root stumps. I suppose it goes with the territory.

      I wonder if pressure washing might be a good approach for cleaning up gritty rocky pieces.
