Wonderful video! You have such a calm, clear voice- perfect for tutorials. I don't wear false lashes but now I kind of want to try them.
Thank you so much! You should definitely give Falsies a try! They’re very fun and kind of addictive.

In case anyone wants to use it: I made a playlist of My Vintage Love vids
It’s called My Vintage Love - Makeup through the ages
It’s public and has all her looks so far in chronological order.
Thank you for doing that!

I love listening to you talk. Very relaxing. I felt I may not be the only one who wants to rewatch these vids.
@@themurrrr Thank you! I am surprised how many people have said they enjoy listening to me talk. It's been a nice discovery of posting these videos!
@@MyVintageLove
Honestly, you make great content that a lot of people are genuinely into these days:
- vintage
- informative, well-researched
- relaxed vibes
- a sprinkling of sass and humor
- even the length of the vids is great.
- lastly, you come across as genuine, kind, intelligent, down-to-earth. Some of us have had our fill of flashy fake loud vapid people.
I hope the algorithm starts recommending you to more people.
Leaving comments and likes should help with that.
(Sadly, I am not using any other socials, else I would be spreading the word there as well)
@@themurrrr Wow! Thank you *so* much! You made my whole day with your kind and well-thought out comment! It's so nice to know all of those things are coming across in our videos, and it makes me want to keep creating! Thanks again and I also hope the algorithm starts recommending us more!
Thank you for yet another lovely video, so many great tips and tricks 💜. I have been rewatching quite a few of the older videos, it is very calming and informative.
Thank you so much for watching and rewatching! Glad you find them calming and informative! :)
Great video. I'm going to try a couple of these tips. Thank you.
Thank you! I hope you try them and enjoy them!
Michelle 🥰 you are so beautiful 💐 in every way xx
Awww Thank you! That's very kind of you!
This was a wonderful tutorial, could you do a hair tutorial for this look? :)
Sure! We can add that to our list! Thanks for watching! ❤️
Firstly, I love this look.
Second, what shade of the Lorac foundation are you using?
(I also use Nars Vanilla as my primary concealer and have for years, it's great stuff)
Thank you! I'm using shade 2 Fair in the Lorac Foundation. Glad you love the look- thanks for watching!
My problem with foundation is my freckles.
Any foundation that does any kind of coverage leaves this odd cast on my freckles which makes it look to obvious that I am wearing foundation.
So I usually end up just putting a little concealer under my eyes for my dark circles and that’s it.
That’s a great alternative to a full face of foundation! Freckles are so beautiful!
@@MyVintageLove
Freckles can be nice in moderation.
But my freckles don’t believe in moderation! 🤣
@@themurrrr 😂😂 I’m sure they’re still beautiful! ❤️
@@MyVintageLove
I’m not gonna tell them you said that. I don’t want to encourage them 🤣
@@themurrrr 😂😂😂
I like the trick with the eye shadow! I have large eyes and I'm so afraid of using color because I feel I'll look like a clown 🤡! Lol. This look is subtle and beautiful. What do you recommend for someone with dark circles and wrinkles when I smile under the eyes? When I use conceiler, I feel that it just accentuates the wrinkles. I do powder under the eyes over top of the conceiler as well. Maybe that's making it worse? I stopped wearing conceiler because of it and resigned to just looking tired all the time. Lol. TIA!!
Thanks for watching! Give the eye shadow trick a try! Concealer with wrinkles is tricky- the best way is to use the thinnest layer possible and buff it in. I like to dot on the NARS Radiant Creamy concealer, let is sit for a few minutes, then buff it in. Then I do a very thin layer of Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder. There does come a point though, where the concealer is just going to crease. I wish there were some way around it, but it is what it is. I do feel your pain!
How do get your hair like that?
I did a lot of backcombing, and just smoothed it out over that. You can also use a rat or a hair form. I should probably do a hair tutorial for this look too.
