Oh yes, one more thing, when you check your codes with your code checker and you have more than one code showing, start your diagnostic with the primary code first, that is your clue to where the problem exist. Don't just throw a part at a problem, you have to check your wiring first with your multimeter, a short to ground or a short to power will cause your computer to throw additional ghost codes because your sensors all rely on one another for information in some form or fashion. Most electrical problems are found in connectors, where wires rub on metal parts causing shorts to ground and breakage resulting in no power to that part, or the wire responsible to sending info back to the computer.
Get a wire diagram which makes it easy to I.D. the wires to be tested and open up the harness to check that wire for problems, dont forget to check wiring harness connectors, they go bad first before the wiring.
Sometimes limp mode is the result of a electrical short to power or short to ground issue in your wiring. For instance, I have a Dodge Journey 2.4L and I got the code PO075. That pointed to my transmission solenoid pack, I replaced the TSM and the code was still there with limp mode in place, what it turned out to be was the wiring between my solenoid pack and the computer, long story short I replaced the transmission wire harness and limp mode went away. What I learned in this horrible situation was you have to check your wiring with a multimeter to make sure you have current flowing FIRST !!....Love your videos brother, thank you for your great insights.

I'm a new owner of my 04 G35. Runs great but hard to start when warmed up. Runs perfect other than that. I changed my crank and cam sensor. Also fuel guage doesn't work but low fuel lite comes on. No Codes. know what it could be?

I replaced MAF sensor and nothing. issues still their also working on replacing vvt solenoid and 02 sensor but I didn't think about throttle position sensor unit i watch you video. Thank you ill let you know if that was the issue.

I had lent mode from the first start up every now and then it would run right. I'm resetting my battery right now I'll let you know how it goes
My 2016 Scion Im just went into limp mode. I was on a highway. Power just dropped to a snails crawl. Pedal all the way down to the floor.
Got it towed to the Toyota dealer. Will see what code shows.
I have a 2005 ford freestyle car keeps going into limp mode after stop and go driving recently installed new water pump, new transmission fluid & filter. Limp mode goes on but not everytime it goes away after letting car sit or sometimes after quick restart. Throwing codes about hydrologic system I’m going to try this

I have a 2005 infiniti g35 [ can't tell the difference between base and X] I just purchased, its in limp mode, changed the positions sensors, had the gauge cluster recalibrate with motors, receiving gas and M1-5 techronic reading now. My observation is as follows. Initial travel I notice transmission shifts beautifully and then I hear and feel a jerk and I'm feeling like I'm stuck in 1st gear in manual mode? Bro I have a super clean 06 ford sports track. Engine sounds great. But I have a major lack of power I would say 50% power. No codes. I have driven it many miles and no codes pop up. I replaced the tps and maf sensor. Nothing

I have a 2004 chrysler 300 and first the 02 sensor code came up then transmission code( tyranny went into limp mode) and car started then code 0108 came up and my car died and won't start.. so is my fuel pump relay and or engine in limp mode too?
I have a 2006 Altima, cars into limp mode jerks around 2k rpms.
When I reset my battery and codes it works perfectly fine.

My 08 g37s auto, begins jerking after I drive it for a bit in traffic. When it’s down shifting it jerks. Feels slow and laggy. Just now has 80k but has been doing since 60k. I’ve done everything maintenance wise. I suspect an oil cooler would help
Your vehicle is auto breaking most likely due to a bad tps, hook up a scan tool and if you have a tps code then that’s your problem
I have a 2007 Dodge caliber and he going to mow or like every morning at the about 2030 minutes is me driving it in a limo I close off and start it back up and it’s running fine all day and it just continue till the next morning to get up crank it up Iit goes bk to to Limp Mode for like 20 to 30 mins then it run back fine Any suggestions?
Hey Bud, I have a 2004 GMC topkick V8 gas, Cannot get it out of limp mode. 114k miles, manual, Replaced Fuel filter, MAF sensor, MAP sensor, Knock sensor, Camshaft position sensor, Fuel pumps, Throttle body and sensor, coils, plugs and wires....I have a code for my Fuel leveling sensor, Would that cause it? Would of changed that also but unable to find one.
I have a 06 mercury Montego and it keep going into limp mode but must of the sensors has been replaced along with the throttle body. What could be the issue. Please help

It’s throwing a slip light and VDC off with a check engine light. I’ve been trying to reset the ECU but haven’t had any success. I have no I have done the process right I did along with the video I had my dad do it, he is a mechanic and no luck. Do you think this could possibly be a bad ECU? Would love to hear your feedback.

I have a 2005 g35 coupe , before the car would go into limp mode I can be driving for about 20 plus mins the car would just rev as I’m pressing the pedal. Figured it was the transmission did that the car was fine for about a day , then limp mode , I change , throttle, ecu , pedal sensors ipdm replacement also changed the wires . My mechanic decide to put a 2006 pedal on the car to see would that help. It did but it didn’t the car Revs now straight to 6000 rpm what can it be? I been dealing with this problem since June
Your supposed to do a throttle body relearn with these g’s anytime you fuck with the throttle body

I got g37x and rpm won't go past 1 1/2 rpms did the ecu reset still nothing

Scam video salesmen here. Accelerator electric motor and trigger connected to your gas pedal is not connected in any way to the ECM. As for TPS meaning throttle position sensor, that is for engine idle only. Limp mode is caused by the connection at the throttle body electric motor, and hasnt got anymore to do with your ECM than what your electric windshield wipers does
