To rotate any 2D image , you can just do the matrix multiplication AB , where A is rotation matrix and Columns of B are position vector of every pixel of image . A nice application of Linear transformation.
I don't like your video, because you didn't provide the answer. Don't forget you started with implicit equation. (There are still more steps to do to get implicit equation again)
