I think Schaub entered the BJJ fight to do exactly what he did, not get submitted by a top of the food chain bjj grappler, and call that a win. He knew there was no way in hell he could beat Cyborg. Not getting submitted is a kinda ‘win’ when you are that outmatched. I don’t really blame Schaub for how lame that match was. He was stepping into Cyborg’s world, Cyborg is to blame for a boring match if anybody. But Cyborg also had a leg injury, if I remember right, and was limited in what he could do standing up. Kind of a bad set of circumstances and maybe a bad match up.
