I had a 2009 Silverado 5.3, I would go through an oil pressure sensor every 1-2 months. It would blow and leak oil out of the connector of the sensor. I used all different brands including OEM, Dorman, Ac Delco. Only thing I can think of is the high pressure relief valve in the oil pump was occasionally sticking to full pressure high and blowing it.
@CrazedPerformanceRepair this morning I was driving n start at 40psi ,but I stop n idle at the stop light it hold for a while n then at time it drop n then when I start to driving it goes up to 40psi.
@@mrno3525 sounds like worn out engine with too much clearance somewhere or possibly a pressure relief valve issue. I'm not super familiar with jeep oil system. It's been probably 6 yrs since I worked on a 2001 jeep Cherokee .
@CrazedPerformanceRepair ook ,gonna try and get the Mopar oil sensor, the thing is I was at work n washin the van and the guy open the bonnet n started to wash the engine and mess up my coil pack, when I drove at that time the oil gauge needle went high. So I replace the coil pack n it running better than before ,is just the oil sensor now

I've never seen that before, interesting. Especially considering there's another relief valve in the pump it's self.
I changed mine on my 01 jeep grand cherokee wj, when I start it up it start at 40psi then after driving it drop to zero.
That sounds like a good sensor and you actually have oil pressure issues.
