For anyone not familiar with the Kyle situation, here's a breakdown: The guy with the tattoo is an amateur wrestler (he also got a portrait of himself/his persona in a different season). The weekend after Kyle tattooed him, he had a match that resulted in his tattoo healing very improperly and fading out. The guy then tried to contact Kyle for a touch-up, but he wanted it for free. Kyle said no. The guy contacted him again since there was a tattoo convention nearby that Kyle was attending. Kyle said he'd meet up, but the guy wanted the touchup for free. When Redemption got announced and Kyle was contacted by the producers, Kyle said he'd tattoo anyone but not the wrestler because of the back and forth and his carelessness with aftercare. So Kyle calling him cheap at the very start is because of the earlier interactions/refusal to pay for a touchup. Although he is a hothead, Kyle was maligned pretty unfairly by the show's producers.

Never feel bad for someone who decides to permanently mutilate their body. The chance that it won’t work the way you like it is always there. And tattoos look terrible after a few years. Love the art form, but would never get one.
Exactly. This isn’t some running over with a felt tip pen. It’s a tool used to inject and cut the ink into the skin. If you’re not prepared for the pain and discomfort, don’t get a tattoo. Simple as. Otherwise it’s a waste of time, money, and ink.
I agree. Theybwant a free tattoo bit not play the game. Can't have it all ways. If clients are so picky then they should dave their money and pay for an artist to do what they want to the letter. Otherwise, they need to shut up. The constant whining of Karens and Kens canvases in this, grind my gears. I watch for the drama though so it's good entertainment. I think tattoo artists are better than this show though. Tattooing under such intense conditions isn't normal. Who needs $100k so badly that they are willing to put their self respect and artistry on the line and get lumbered with some dodgy clients. Some of the clients IQ seem questionable. They know what the show is about. Yet they sign up for a free tattoo. Personally, I think once they get the tattoo that's it. They took part, they were part of the game. They maybe need to learn a lesson that something for free may not be exactly what you want.
@camiloorsini9674 they only look terrible because most people don't take care of their skin too much of the sun can also change the look of you tattoos faster.
Honestly I would not talk to a tattoo artist like that no matter how upset I was. They're the one who's holding the needle gun when they fix your tattoo, and I wouldn't want my skin shredded to pieces.
Why anyone would consider returning to the artist who gave you work you don't like is beyond me. Would you return to a cosmetic surgeon who gave you a poor result? Yelling about it won't help.
The canvases go in knowing that the artist is under a time crunch and stress that isn’t present normally. They (usually) understand their tattoo may not be perfect. After the first couple of seasons the show started throwing in a fix-it episode every couple of seasons, whether by the same artist or another. Plus many of the artists’ and canvases’ conversations about fixing or finishing at a later time and place rarely makes it into the show. In S 14 you can hear Anthony talking to his canvas about finishing in AZ when he had to tat Japanese style. The producers may have loosened their sphincters and allowed the convo in to let us be in-the-know.
I felt really bad for Danger! The girl keeps egging him and stressing him out about the design! Like the drawings he had was so pretty! I didn’t understand why she was so rude about it!! If I was a canvas and someone who’s good like Danger, Tattoo baby, or Kleem, heck even Sarah Lynn! I’d let them have all the creative decisions as long as they know what they are doing!
I dont agree with everyone at 29:00 where James Danger had that client who was really confrontational and so his hand was shaking. He was trying to calm down and she kept picking at him. I think he was in the right trying to calm down and just chill out and she just would not stop for a second even. I think he handled that situation wonderfully. He didn't freak out or anything like that. He was polite with her even tho she was very obviously TRYING to get under his skin. I dont like her and she would make me nervous too.
I know right, everyone else was defending him saying how crazy she was. I mean he asked her what she wanted and she kept changing it and wanting him to start over
I agree w the guy that said “being a tattoer requires you deal w problem clients..I disagree…I don’t tattoo problem clients”. Totally true. These canvases act entitled to say and do whatever they want and cost these artists their shot at winning. They need to be respectful to these artists. They are getting a free tattoo from some of the best tattooers in the country. The lady that just kept picking at the artist bc she was like “are you nervous…why are you shaking…why am I calming you down…you should be calming me down”. She tried to act as if she wasn’t doing anything wrong…she absolutely was..she was picking and challenging him over and over..”if you don’t want to do this tattoo then just say so…I mean can you understand why I’m nervous bc your hand is shaking”: I would’ve absolutely belted this lady. She was annoying, nit-picky and absolutely entitled. And cit g as if she was in the right. If you want a calm artist,..then don’t pick at your artist until he’s having a a damn panic attack at the thought of being near you for the next six hours. Man just listening to her clip I felt that this tattooer was setup to fail. They give him an absolute beotch for a canvas…that picks at him so badly until he just tells her “ I’m not the artist for you”. Then the judges listen to the other contestants about how they all would’ve done so much better with that person. No …they are competitors and aren’t going to side with him. They want all their rivals gone. Then the judges sent him home. Really?
Who told Kate and Craig to say all that 😭💀 If y'all want people to seem legit angry and not coached on how to appear angry, maybe start with not telling them to say "namaste away from me"
It's absolutely ridiculous to get in a big argument with a client. I've been tattooing for over thirty years and never once got into situations like these idiots
@@meganbucko5218healing is important for any tattoo at all. The line work could be perfect but if your tattoo heals wrong or the artist didn’t do it right and caused some infection to happen, the color can blow out and fall out of the skin, it can keloid out, there’s a million ways the healing process can mess up the tattoo. It’s the same reason artists will tell you the true sign of a good tattoo is how it looks after it heals.
Damn the lady who came and attacked Mark was immensely over exaggerating and the b**** whom was blowing off Kito was disrespectful asf so I'm glad he didn't tattoo her again.
honestly..i think Duffy kept such a cool level head regarding trash polka girl. She has valid complaints about the actual tattoo, but coming in hot like that is not okay
28:49 the RICHNESS of Jason and Josh saying Danger messed up dealing with his canvas!! I understand why Jason was mad with his canvas that backed out, but he had some choice words for her that would classify him as an a-hole for sure. And Josh talking sh*t about Danger is a joke when he can’t get along with anyone to save his life.
I feel it was unfair for them to tell her "there's someone willing to tattoo you" and it likely led to her trying to be so friendly. Fair enough if he doesn't want to deal with her again, but he seemed to have a lot of anger still for someone who didn't actually lose because of her. Then again, I'm not sure how I would react if someone who nearly screwed me over suddenly appeared and tried to hug me, so it's possible he's been caught off-guard and is reacting more than he would have otherwise.
Canvases tap out of tattoos all the time, they have that right. I could understand if she came in disrespectfully like the other canvases, but she didn't. Jason didn't have the right to disrespect somebody who's willing to work with him, especially when you take into account the fact that he was fighting for his life in his season way before he tattooed her
I understand him being upset in the moment when it happened. But she was 1000% willing to move on and be friendly and let the past be the past. But the way he acted here was trash. She didn't walk in like others completely crapping on the artists. And she had a fair question. "People aren't allowed to change their minds? Jeez.... he sounds like a damn tool here.
The canvasses are complaining about the tattoos not being what they wanted but they don't discuss how the artist can do what the canvas wants while staying within the required style. Since this is a timed competition involving style requirements the canvasses need to consider the constraints of the competition. (I have 5 tattoos; 3 I love and 2 that I hate. I guess I'll get them fixed.)
I have a crappy tattoo on my shin. i let a girlfriends friend tattoo. She was a amateur. I100% knew it was gonna be bad to some degree it was dort cheap. Funny part i ended up dating the artist years down the road and she fixed it These people getting tattoos done that take 2x to 3x more than the time they given. They risk major screw ups
Well to go and then literally walk over to him, while he’s huddled over trying to calmly breathe and center himself, to then poke at him and micromanage how he is trying to relax before he tattoos you? Along with complaining that he’s making you nervous? Nah girl, you’re a bully and asshole. Most tattoo artists would’ve thrown her out of the parlor or even gotten physical with how demeaning she was.
I dont understand why this show keeps pushing that tattoo artists should have to allow themselves to be bullied and bend over backwards for clients. Looking at that garter Jason obviously wasn't fantastic but i still feel bad for the guy
Same because she was so sweet and kind to him out of all the other canvases that we’ve seen in this compilation she was the nicest out of all of them the first thing that she did when she saw him was open her arms to give him a hug I love Audrey and I hope that she gets the tattoo that she has dreamed of
I mean, Jason did put that much money on the line to get that work started, only for her to stop halfway. And now she wants to help redeem Jason by getting something new. Nah girl, no means no.
I love how she came up to him, just assuming she'd get a new (read: FREE) tattoo. Literally did the shocked pikachu face when he said no. It was beautiful.
Ink master is NOT about giving clients great tattoos exactly like they want-it’s a freaking competition and the canvases know that, there’s a reason most of the tattoos are terrible and people don’t like them. When an artist isn’t pressed for time, pressed on style, location, etc they can whip out amazing tattoos exactly what canvases want. This only breeds further animosity and gives the show more drama to stay relevant
If you’re not prepared for the pain, don’t get a tattoo. Simple. I for one love getting tattooed, so if I would take whatever discomfort I can to get the tat done and get my money’s worth.
That guy wasn’t being a dick. The canvas was a complete pain. She’s difficult and is trying to hide behind being reasonable. I can’t stand that lady. She’s absolutely picking at him. Picking and picking. She wanted him to tap out. She’s terrible I can’t stand her.
These people walking in all chump is freaking hilarious. Idgf if I tattooed you, you will not be talking to me that way. They should've said something right after or during. Don't go home and talk poop about it. I would've honestly messed them up worse. No redemption from me. These people come in to get a FREE tattoo and most of them come in to get ANYTHING on them. They can't be like "Nope I don't want that" they should take what's given to them and that's that. Period. Edit: That Mary girl with the "French" coy fish (lol) should learn to keep her hands to herself. This ain't bgc.
That first lady was ridiculous, I can understand not digging the tattoo, but her attitude after she was screaming and squirming while getting it. She did not handle getting the tattoo well at all. Weak.
Ok but why cant they just say "im really not happy with this but it was free, its on me and could you fix it?" I dont know anyone that responds well to being yelled at
The Canvas Natalie would annoy me as well, mentioning over and over again how his hand is shaking does nothing good for the Artist! Complaining the whole time, while she is in to get a tattoo for free! I get you have to like it... Sure but this is not the way!!!
The women that Jason had for a master canvas. They know from the jump what it is. Like it's a free tattoo first of all & then being a open canvas wtf do you expect.
1:32 “took some of my sexi away”🤣 Can wear 👠’s &skimpy lace sht all day.. doesn’t make you attractive, especially if you don’t take care of your body. OMG Plugs smell so bad ! 🤢
Kate and her husband seemed relatively level headed and then walked in and starting yelling at their artist... Audrey was very respectful and open, like obviously the unfinished tattoo was her fault but she handled it with a lot of restraint, but her artist is clearly not a forgiving person
Danger is right though, dealing with problem clients is not part of being ink master, imagine someone coming in your shop and talking to you like that, your definitely refusing service.
I get that a lot of these tattoos suck but I do not understand the amount of rage these "canvases" have when they are signing up for a free tattoo in a competition setting. you took the risk, no sympathy from me.

Man... that's straight up lame how they did Elisheba. Her canvas walked out on her and she lost valuable time. I don't see how that's her fault... but I guess I could be wrong.
I agree with you. Her canvas refused to play ball and left her with very valuable time lost and she couldn’t get it back. The judges gave criticism as if she didn’t lose out on a lot of the time
“you need to apologize to the state of arkansas”
I was crying from laughter at that part 😂😂
I don’t feel bad for ANY of these clients. They literally signed up for this. It was a risk they were willing to take… oh well. Lol
Never feel bad for someone who decides to permanently mutilate their body. The chance that it won’t work the way you like it is always there. And tattoos look terrible after a few years. Love the art form, but would never get one.
@@camiloorsini9674 yup I have 7 and regret mostly all. I learned my lesson
It seems like some of them don’t even know, they just get told that they have an artist ready to rectify or give them a different tattoo.
@@gothicMCRgirl The canvas is only told their artist is present and are given a choice if they want to help redeem that artist or not.
God I don’t know how Dave has any patience with these canvases. Swear to god he has to intervene on almost all of these interactions
$$$...and it's scripted tv....
Dave provoked and caused drama.
Purple shirt girl “Namaste tf away from TV honey” I got second hand embarrassment watching that 🙄😂
I felt really bad for Danger!
That chick, the canvas, with the owl tattoo was SUCH a Karen!! She comes off as a spoiled and entitle little brat.
Total Karen und Kevin Vibes these two 😂
“Your so zen rn you needs namesta the f away from me” girl went off😂
I dont agree with everyone at 29:00 where James Danger had that client who was really confrontational and so his hand was shaking.
I made me so sad and frustrated for him, I wanted to just give him a hug!
I agree with every single word here!!!
you could see him trying so hard, he had so much patience
Nick's client was nuts even when she came back on redemption. He was screwed from jump.
I know right, everyone else was defending him saying how crazy she was. I mean he asked her what she wanted and she kept changing it and wanting him to start over
Im so glad im not a tattoo artist. Some of this canvas are absolutely delusional.
🤪
Those are people who the artists would turn down in a normal setting.
Right !
I’d never disrespect the person who is about to permanently ink my body !!
@@honeylis7most definitely i would never tattoo someone that treats me this way. No amount of money is worth it.
Really?
Who told Kate and Craig to say all that 😭💀 If y'all want people to seem legit angry and not coached on how to appear angry, maybe start with not telling them to say "namaste away from me"
At 9:29, The lady-canvas' looks like she married her dad ...
I was thinking the exact same thing…
Kyle ripped that dude apart lmao
It's absolutely ridiculous to get in a big argument with a client. I've been tattooing for over thirty years and never once got into situations like these idiots
Also you should never Not be happy with a tattoo you originally were happy with but Someone else said otherwise
@@dropdeadinc.customtattoo2537i feel like healing also plays a part in this though, is that true? or is that only true for fine lines?
@@meganbucko5218healing is important for any tattoo at all. The line work could be perfect but if your tattoo heals wrong or the artist didn’t do it right and caused some infection to happen, the color can blow out and fall out of the skin, it can keloid out, there’s a million ways the healing process can mess up the tattoo. It’s the same reason artists will tell you the true sign of a good tattoo is how it looks after it heals.
It's TV. They're supposed to argue and be pissed at each other.
I like Duffy. She's a great artist..
I love how many times that guy mentions Arkansas 😂
Damn the lady who came and attacked Mark was immensely over exaggerating and the b**** whom was blowing off Kito was disrespectful asf so I'm glad he didn't tattoo her again.
Bragging about your body on TV, I wouldn't have sex with her if she paid ME
honestly..i think Duffy kept such a cool level head regarding trash polka girl.
1,000%
My thoughts exactly!!!
I've noticed that a lot of the canvases can either be really rude or really picky.
That’s true.
well i’d be really picky too if something was permanently drawn on my body
Bro that Jacob canvas has some bad ass tattoos. What a real piece of work.
Lmfao this shit is so stupid, love how the clients are super chill in the interview then they ALL come out screaming
FORCED AS HELLLLLLL
These people sign up to get tattoos and then complain when it hurts 😐
mark: people come to ink master with these crazy ideas
Karen: now you are calling me crazy
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I hated that canvas that Mike had so much. The way he said Nooo creeps me out.
She felt violated but was 30 married to a 65 year old😂
EXACTLY BRO WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS
Jason had every right to be upset with that girl but calling her an attention whore was over the line in my opinion
Jason didn't have the right to disrespect somebody who's willing to work with him, especially when you take into account the fact that he was fighting for his life in his season way before he tattooed her
I've since watched more clips and come to the conclusion that Jason is emotionally stunted.
he acts like a little boy@@Octodactylpus
I understand him being upset in the moment when it happened. But she was 1000% willing to move on and be friendly and let the past be the past. But the way he acted here was trash. She didn't walk in like others completely crapping on the artists. And she had a fair question. "People aren't allowed to change their minds? Jeez.... he sounds like a damn tool here.
I couldn't imagine telling people that the tattoo I had was proof the artist got kicked off of "Ink Master"😅
8:49 bro stood up for his artist i love it
The canvasses are complaining about the tattoos not being what they wanted but they don't discuss how the artist can do what the canvas wants while staying within the required style. Since this is a timed competition involving style requirements the canvasses need to consider the constraints of the competition. (I have 5 tattoos; 3 I love and 2 that I hate. I guess I'll get them fixed.)
WTF! THESE CLIENTS ARE INCREDIBLE! They seriously do not know wtf they want. It's costing insanely talented ppl to get kicked off. It's so messed up!
14:40 This was the hardest shade to me. The look on her face after being rejected was priceless.
Even though it wasn't completely finished, Tatu Baby's jaguar was fucking AWESOME!
Sorry you came to ink master to get free tattoo . I don’t feel bad for the canvases
The canvas is pissed off because their free tattoo doesn’t look good 🤔
I have a crappy tattoo on my shin. i let a girlfriends friend tattoo. She was a amateur. I100% knew it was gonna be bad to some degree it was dort cheap. Funny part i ended up dating the artist years down the road and she fixed it
These people getting tattoos done that take 2x to 3x more than the time they given. They risk major screw ups
Jerry Springer Edition😂
Best comment ever
JERRY JERRY JERRY 😂😂😂😂😂😩😩😩😩
Poor Jason dude, he was so cool and nice. If you know a panic attack you could see he was well on his way into one.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around why any person would get any politician tattooed on themselves.
can we talk about this? 27:50 like i didn't see why he was in the wrong
right, she's such a fkn karen. making him even more nervous and on the edge of hitting her
Well to go and then literally walk over to him, while he’s huddled over trying to calmly breathe and center himself, to then poke at him and micromanage how he is trying to relax before he tattoos you? Along with complaining that he’s making you nervous? Nah girl, you’re a bully and asshole. Most tattoo artists would’ve thrown her out of the parlor or even gotten physical with how demeaning she was.
Exactly!
Ya fr I thought he was calm, and did the best he could she just kept arguing and arguing she was a bitch
I’m confused on why the canvases are allowed to bring in their partners who weren’t apart of the show?
For drama and intimidation/pressure probably. It's annoying that they let the canvases do that
Anyone think her husband was here dad 10:35
He looks 20 years older than her
I dont understand why this show keeps pushing that tattoo artists should have to allow themselves to be bullied and bend over backwards for clients. Looking at that garter Jason obviously wasn't fantastic but i still feel bad for the guy
That guy loves Arkansas!!!!!!!😂
Felt super bad for Audrey, glad she walked out
Same because she was so sweet and kind to him out of all the other canvases that we’ve seen in this compilation she was the nicest out of all of them the first thing that she did when she saw him was open her arms to give him a hug I love Audrey and I hope that she gets the tattoo that she has dreamed of

I love how she came up to him, just assuming she'd get a new (read: FREE) tattoo. Literally did the shocked pikachu face when he said no. It was beautiful.

most of those were decent tattoos many were really good and Ponys client looked like she had a few she couldnt sit thru

You get what you pay for...oh, that's right, every tattoo is free
Funny how they tried to call the first girl out by showing her in pain but from what's done on the tattoo she was right .about 3 hours of work
We really did NOT need a closeup of that woman vomiting into a bucket like why would they do that…
These people walking in all chump is freaking hilarious. Period.
