That’s what hard to understand/respect about any show with subjective judgment. Sometimes it will favor a competitor you like, sometimes it will favor a competitor you dislike. Rules and guidelines should be enforced. Clean was the best tattoo artist this season, but they always say one bad tattoo will send you home. Mixing up the flag of Puerto Rico and the USA when you could look at online references is pretty unforgivable. Especially on a U.S.A pride piece. I remember this episode as one of the reasons I stopped watching the show on cable.

That elimination was so BS.
I hated how often they let Jimmy skirt by doing his cartoon characters and not even do the challenge. It was so sweet when he finally got sent packing.
When she flipped the tattoo it put all the burns on the wrong side of the character's body. That is really bad because it is a well known character. Jime's at least won't make people think wtf

@@korie4198when the person who has it looks at it in the mirror, it won’t be on the incorrect side. Jackie and her canvas were playing chess but because everyone else was playing checkers, she gone.
Not only did he not follow the challenge, but it did not have nearly enough contrast and the dark halo around it makes it look like a hematoma. I'm not an expert on tattoos, but it seemed ridiculous to me that he argued about the clarity and longevity when his was so lacking in clarity before even healing, it seems like it would just turn into a green blob circled in greyed out purple with age

I love roses and rose tattoos, but even I know that roses are probably the most done tattoo out there. Especially since a rose is something that a lot of apprentices almost strictly tattoo for the 6 months - first year of their apprenticeship

I think Sausage should have won the comic book self hero one. Don’t get me wrong, I would let Anthony tattoo my entire body if I could but Sausage hit the challenge so well and executed it FLAWLESSLY. His seemed more hero-y to me.
Totally agree with you on this! Sausage is a extremely good Tattoo Artist, his work is incredibly clean!! Anthony, he is a totally deserved Ink Master... but in my book Saus too...

Yeah I personally like Anthony's tattoo more and is the tattoo of the two I'd rather wear personally but I believe sausage's tattoo followed the challenge better.
I wonder the ring on that tattoo will get mistaken for an Only Fans ring in this current trend of life lol.

I hate when the judges say something about certain colours not being used on a women’s body, like no? Colour is colour. Anyone can have a colour in their body it doesn’t matter they gender or if they are masculine or feminine. I hate this whole mentality of the judges of keeping “feminine colours for women”

coming from someone whos only focused on comics and tattoos my entire life I would proudly wear Jackie's twoface ANYDAY of the week over wearing jimmy's poison ivy, the challenge was not new school it was consistency, and Jackie's two face was wayyy more consistent to the character and comic art style than jimmy's basically creation of a new character

I completely agree. Yeah, the teeth were a little bit off in the bio mech skull, but I honestly loved her tattoo more than the other guys and I thought it was a totally rocking tattoo. Not to mention she did that with little to no help or advice from others, while the other guy had people constantly telling him what to do. I'm all about helping people and giving them some advice, especially people who are struggling, but it just seemed unfair to me

@@Mittens-cute The tattoo itself looks great but it doesn't look like it's meant to be an American flag. It's as bad as getting a tattoo of your girlfriend Sophia but the tat says it Sofia lol.
Hopefully it can be fixed. How can these Americans tattoo artists mess up their own flag so badly? Great tat overall, but I would not be happy having that on me if I were American. Unless! I had a Puerto Rican family and/or loved their culture.
Clean was becoming popular and the show wanted to keep him around for future production. Gonna get a mulligan for ratings

Cleen made a bad decision by picking Austin over Stacy. Stacy did a much better tattoo.
Just realised the other judge is cut out in all these compilations. But his voice is still there.
That's cause Peck did black face so he's been cancelled. His voice is safe though cause they couldn't find an example of him doing black voice.
I'm genuinely puzzled as to why Justin Trudeau got away with it, just because it was a while ago. He did it at least nine separate times, yet still gets to strut about lecturing the world on compassion and justice. Rubs me wrong.

One thing that bothers me a little bit about the show is that the judges are sometimes in my opinion wishie wishie. They say things like you should always please the client and do what they want and then sometimes they'll also say you should not do what the client wants and Yada yada.
Yeah, they want their continued favorites to make it through... so they don't nitpick their work. I can't believe that there are single 1/4 inch errors or a minute saturation area in the middle of a pupil will cause an artist to be dismissed.
They are biased.. they have their favorites they don't care what other people do they will pick apart others and coast their favorites
100% I remember one season were Tatto Baby made a Leopard Tattoo and could't finish it because of the human canvas and she STILL got best Tattoo of the day because its Was still Stunning. Then another season a girl made a Rose, which was also beautyful btw but she also could't finish it because of the canvas and she got voted off because it wasn't finished but was told "if that would have being done you could have won best Tattoo of the day" like what??? Just say you have your favourits who come though even with an unfinished Tattoo and other just don't. I'm pretty sure this Show is rigged as hell

See, what bothers me about this, is that when different (I remember at least two specifically), artists had their own spin on on the flag, it was unforgivable. But here, it was simply glossed over. Sometimes the favoritism is ridiculously annoying obvious.

Well, these judges know nothing about sailing… They criticized her for doing the tattoo wrong by assuming the ship is sailing directly with the wind direction, which is a terrible way to sail. The boat is moving forward, the wind is at an angle to the sail. It’s absolutely possible and more correct in the representation she had with the flag. This is literally the difference in True vs Apparent Wind. Seriously, just go watch a sail boat. Judges are idiots. 2:14:38
That first set of tattoos of the bikes or cars were some of the best I've seen in this show. The only obvious problems (as a total rookie) are the wheels on the caddie ? Were really small/distorted. And Ashley's motorcycle just did not look right.
Nar there was a heap of bull going on there. None of the cars looked anything like they should've and the motorbikes all looked funky in different ways. St Marc should've been called out for his bubble car, the proportions are all out.
the superhero canvases: cleen didn't gk home based on how much drama he digs up... his was the worst tattoo AND he is the only person to dunk on someone else in front of the judges and not go home... he was great for the show but c'mon!

The two face elimination was criminal, 1) it was the best out of any of them 2) if the person with the tattoo looks in the mirror it’s facing the correct way 3) 0.0001% of people will see it and realize it’s on the wrong side
I see where youre coming from but it was definitely a mistake. Tattoos are supposed to look right in person not through a mirror. Im betting the canvas would’ve preferred it to be accurate and align with the comic book representation.

Well if you didn’t butcher it in the first place, Ashley, she wouldn’t be complaining. It’s real simple. I weep for this poor canvas.
To be fair, the canvas wanted something very, very specific. She wanted HER bike tattooed on her arm, yet she didn’t have a reference picture. She also didn’t seem to know what kind of bike it was, seeing as how it was shown that they had trouble finding a reference she was happy with.
If you’re going onto a show like this and you’re gonna be that fucking picky, at least have the courtesy to either know what to search for or bring an image the artist can work with.
Ashley got fucked over, plain and simple.
....holistically i felt so sorry for her on just about every level....she denied so much of what she was doing right to go off and do so wrong...for all of her passion and courage she does NOT have the skills...she was INSANE to drop out of art school one semester shy of graduation i do not blame her parents for not speaking to her for a minute....and she is a LATINA to boot....she KNOWS FULL WELL she has to just straight up WALK ON WATER in that line of work...and she just does not HAVE IT....and especially at THAT level of competition....sad part is deep down she KNOWS it......she can go off and work in some C list tattoo shop and think she is cute but her parents will never let her forget that she does not HAVE IT....and i gasped when one of the judges said that the piece she did for the biker lady will be laughed at by her biker friends because he was right ....they are very serious about their ink....they are extremely discerning ....and mocking...

Uh no, Ashley had no idea what she was doing period. A reference of that specific bike wouldn't have helped her at all, she failed to get even basic mechanics of any bike correct let alone a specific bike.

Picasso is extremely talented. He has a hard time with the parameters and time limits of the show. Nunez said it best when he told them that ink master is too restrictive.
Cleen Rock One should get the Ink Master Season 5.. All his tattoo clean, bulletproof, flawless, and so details.. I love the tattoo that he put his trademark teeth...

And it might be off level on shoulder or the actual location of the end section but if you take level from centerline of the actual road it’s differs and per dot standars you take grade of the road that’s vehicle drive on and if the post are at height per road more dirt or landscaping should be done to get grade properly so actual travel road is on par with shoulders or where the guardrail need to go
