Today on the show, we have with us Dr. Ramiyar P. Karanjia. He is an M.A., Ph. D. in Avesta-Pahlavi from St. Xavier’s College, University of Mumbai, and is presently serving as the Principal of Dadar Athornan Institute. Also, he is an independent researcher in history and ancient Iranian languages.
We are sure that all the regular listeners of TRS would've enjoyed this very rich and deep episode with Dr. Ramiyar. @@baikushex0et682 I really appreciate that you don't want to force your religion on your kids. Its wonderful. I mean kids should be guided to find their own truth.
However if we don't teach them our religion, some abrahamic faiths will. And at the point you can't disown your child, nor accept them with their new faith. And abrahamic faith conversion really alienate family members from the convert.
I know this may sound preachy. My mother and father never imposed religion on me. They let me understand and gravitate towards what I like. And maybe naturally I gravitated towards Hinduism. So it was a natural process. While growing up, I had friends from many different faith's but nobody came and brainwashed me.
But these days, the brainwashing is real bad. And it doesn't take kids a lot to be influenced. Also thanks to the internet and UA-cam.
So parenting has become an even more difficult job.
But In the end, what you want to do with your kids is your wish.
