Good explanation of Zoroastrian Rituals. Even though I was born in Mumbai (then Bombay), which has most of India's Parsis, I hardly knew about most of what you said. I have a one thing to inform and a question to ask 1) In Hinduism, cow urine is not for drinking, maybe some people may take a sip as part of their devotion, but as part of religious practice, Hindu's don't drink cow urine as you mentioned in the video. Hinduism is a evolved religion and was not started by anybody, the ancient Indians noted that cow urine is a kind of a insecticide and harmless to Humans, so it found a place of respect in Hindu culture as it helped with keeping the insects away when humans lived in a more natural environment with insects all around. Usually cow urine is used for sprinkling during home warming and other Hindu ceremony and is not for sipping.
Now for the question I had: If as part of the death ritual, a Zoroastrian followers body is put in the tower of silence for consumption of vultures, then how do people enter it to put another body, that place may be full of half eaten bodies, and flesh eating insects and may be having a very bad rotten meat smell. Please let us know.

The tradition of keeping a blank paper and red pen on 5th or 6th day for the angel to write the destiny of the baby is similar in many communities in India. I am a maharashtrian and we do this… I know some friends from bihar, up and even manipur who have similar rituals. It proves that religions are just different paths taking us towards the same destination.

@3:14 Please don't assume that Hindus don't know why they 'bajau ghanti' in the temple. Indian gurus and mystics like Shri Shri & Satguru are very popular with the youth in India and the world because they explain the scientific reason for Hindu rituals & practices. Zoroastrian is similar to Hinduism because it originated from Sanatan Dharma and it was started as a rebellion by Zarathustra ( Zoroaster) and inspired later Abrahamic religions.

They were one of the Indian tribes that lost the battle of ten Kings (Dasharajanya) to King Bharata; after the defeat, they moved to northern regions like Iran, Afghanistan, Greece, Albania, Turkey ... They followed Sanatan Dharma until Zarathustra had the revelation of a new religion and started the first Abrahamic religion of the world much before Judaism.

There is a small error. The persian zorastrians did not bring the sacred fire from Iran.
The sacred fire temple was concecrated in India itself.
The main person who performed this ceremony was NARIOSANG DHAVAL.
Nariosang Dhaval was the same man who convinced king jhadi rana by adding sugar to glass of milk.
Where in hindusim fire is made from 16 fires?

As far as I know, in Hinduism, Fire in itself is a pure form of God, irrespective of its origin, it is considered pure. In the scriptures, it is said that Devi Parvati gave a boon to god of Fire that, anything that comes to its contact, will become pure and sacred.

Here we keep a palm leaf and a quill...
But in our version the angel is an old lady, she is to write the fate on that palm leaf...
The astrologer comes to our home on the very next day and reads out the fate...

Many rituals in Hinduism also involve visualisation, vibrations/words and hand gestures! Compels me to wonder about the depth of understanding our ancestors had of the workings of nature beyond just the physical/obvious. But I've observed that people are quick to label rituals as blind belief. Perhaps atleast until they find science validating aspects of metaphysics/pseudoscience. But for some reason, I feel that is far fetched. What are your thoughts, Freishia?

There were pure hearted people and evil "witch" magicians using evil spirits among the Native Americans as with all groups. Lot's of words you used for the Parsi customs are similar to the Dharmic practices. The only thing I would correct is the word "Aryans" links to "Swastika" symbol. The word "Aryans" do not exists, nor the migration of Aryans Europeans migration is referenced in any of The Hindu, Buddhist, Jains, Surya, literatures, scriptures, or manuscripts. "Aryan migration theory" was introduced by the British invaders and should have been removed from our school texts when it was dismissed by the archeological findings coming out of Mohenjodaro and Harrapan civilizations in 1920-1940s, which was one of the main reason for the Partition, so that the truth will not come out.

True-We only see reference to the word Arya in regards to people or clans that spoke Sanskrit and adhered to dharma. This is first seen in the Rigveda wherein certain tribed were referred to as either Arya (meaning noble) or not (mleccha). These tribes were also not of the same race so clearly Arya never meant nor was intended to be a racial connotation as the Brits clearly misconstrued it to be.

In persia everyone is more than happy to accept the Aryan theory. I'm a blonde parsi living in India with no European admixture whatsoever. I'm more than 90% persian. How can you explain that then? The more you move east towards Afghanistan and Iran, you will notice more European features. The only reason is that the persians are less mixed with the local population that's why they retain thier European genes. Where as the indo aryans are heavily mixed with the dravidians leaving no European features behind.

@@sassaniandynasty3796 I am also half Parsi, and I not at all believe in Aryan invasion theory. Which many of our historians had also proved is wrong.
Pls listen to Sanjay Dixit ji he is ready to give 2 crore if any one can proove, Aryan came from outside. We r the oldest civilization, who are living on this land from thousand of years
And Parsis have definitely Vedic roots, like sadra kasti, fire temple, diyo etc, I know very well, because in my house we practice both 🙏🙏

I had a parsi teacher in my school, he used to narrate stories about Iran that he had heard from his grandfather. He believed that ancient parsi had the power to invoke the Agni devata since for the obvious reasons parsis are the direct descendants of Agni Dev.

Not gonna lie, Parsis are good people who mind their own business but their obsession with purity might result in a complete obliteration of their culture in a few centuries time.

@@sassaniandynasty3796 what do you mean racial purity? all Parsis are mixed race and have Indian DNA they are not pure. The pure Persians are from Iran(Persia) some have 100% Persian DNA.

@@KayvanKermani yeah but some are less mixed than the others. That's why parsis come in all different colors.
It was the same case when the Aryans arrived in India. Modern indians have mixed blood that's why they come in all different colors
