Yes just one correction ... there is nothing like Aryans as she mentions in the video. It was an artificial thing laid out by the British to split Indians. Otherwise she's really good!
Parsis and Hindus are so deeply connected! Feeling so happy to have Parsis in our country. Parsis are so friendly and lovable. There's a certain section of people who keep on claiming that minorities face oppression in India. This is such an irrational argument.
I wish we had more Parsis in this country because I think it would have been beautiful to see our common spiritual culture evolve together. They are indeed beautiful people. I also wish we had more Buddhists, Jains than we do because we share more common connections with their spiritual traditions than you know who.
Parsees of India are model community. No special demands. Contributed to the community beyond one can imagine. Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, Tata family, Homi Bhabha, Cusrow Wadia, Zubin Mehta, Farokh Engineer and list can go on. Their coexistence for centuries is a prime example of how tolerant India and Hindus are. They didn't try to convert Hindus - and to us Hindus they are as Indian as ourselves.
Parsi community is a very forward looking community in India. They have contributed a lot for humanity. Btw I love the film khatta meetha based on Parsi community!
Thank god Parsis came to India If they would’ve gone to other side the number you mentioned would’ve swept in less than a year and India would’ve lost the gems like Tata ,Sam Manekshaw and bhabha
Aryans were from Indian subcontinent. They were Hindu sages. The word "Arya" means "the wise one''. Aryan is not a mystical race like the west interpreted it.
Aryan Invasion Theory (AIT) has been long debunked now with overwhelming scientific/archeological evidence. Now, the reverse theory Out of India (OIT) is popular which states that most civilization went out of India from the Saraswati Valley. The Parsis are descendants of the Parshua dynasty who were of Vedic origin.

Actually the whole Iran bleongs to parsi communities. They were expelled from their land by muslims like they do everywhere when they are in majority. Parsi came to india and made their new home. From then, hindu and parsi started bonding together. India is a place of everyone.
None of the non Indic communities treat India as their home except for *Parsis* for example majority of muslims consider Islamic states or Pak as their real home and they say Muslims are taught to be of the country in which they’re living. Good explanation of Zoroastrian Rituals. Even though I was born in Mumbai (then Bombay), which has most of India's Parsis, I hardly knew about most of what you said. I have a one thing to inform and a question to ask 1) In Hinduism, cow urine is not for drinking, maybe some people may take a sip as part of their devotion, but as part of religious practice, Hindu's don't drink cow urine as you mentioned in the video. Hinduism is a evolved religion and was not started by anybody, the ancient Indians noted that cow urine is a kind of a insecticide and harmless to Humans, so it found a place of respect in Hindu culture as it helped with keeping the insects away when humans lived in a more natural environment with insects all around. Usually cow urine is used for sprinkling during home warming and other Hindu ceremony and is not for sipping. Now for the question I had: If as part of the death ritual, a Zoroastrian followers body is put in the tower of silence for consumption of vultures, then how do people enter it to put another body, that place may be full of half eaten bodies, and flesh eating insects and may be having a very bad rotten meat smell. Please let us know.
The tradition of keeping a blank paper and red pen on 5th or 6th day for the angel to write the destiny of the baby is similar in many communities in India. I am a maharashtrian and we do this… I know some friends from bihar, up and even manipur who have similar rituals. It proves that religions are just different paths taking us towards the same destination.
@3:14 Please don't assume that Hindus don't know why they 'bajau ghanti' in the temple. Indian gurus and mystics like Shri Shri & Satguru are very popular with the youth in India and the world because they explain the scientific reason for Hindu rituals & practices. Zoroastrian is similar to Hinduism because it originated from Sanatan Dharma and it was started as a rebellion by Zarathustra ( Zoroaster) and inspired later Abrahamic religions.
They were one of the Indian tribes that lost the battle of ten Kings (Dasharajanya) to King Bharata; after the defeat, they moved to northern regions like Iran, Afghanistan, Greece, Albania, Turkey ... They followed Sanatan Dharma until Zarathustra had the revelation of a new religion and started the first Abrahamic religion of the world much before Judaism.
I've read somewhere that before Iran turned Islamic, it was called Persia(the birthplace of Zoroastrianism) and the official religion of that country used to be Zoroastrianism. Persia was very open-minded and peaceful country at that time.
Wow! Amazing as always! I would definitely love to meet a Parsi in person and learn more about them as I feel all the things they've done has been undervalued since a long time also would like to know their role in shaping many communities across the globe
There is a small error. The persian zorastrians did not bring the sacred fire from Iran. The sacred fire temple was concecrated in India itself. The main person who performed this ceremony was NARIOSANG DHAVAL. Nariosang Dhaval was the same man who convinced king jhadi rana by adding sugar to glass of milk. Where in hindusim fire is made from 16 fires?
As far as I know, in Hinduism, Fire in itself is a pure form of God, irrespective of its origin, it is considered pure. In the scriptures, it is said that Devi Parvati gave a boon to god of Fire that, anything that comes to its contact, will become pure and sacred.

Seriously the similarity between Hindu and Parsis traditions are so uncanny!! We were definitely bound by ancient knowledge since thousands of years ago..awesome!!
That's because Ancient Iranians and Vedic Indo-Aryans both branched out from the same stock of Proto-Indo-Iranian people. Old Avestan and Early Vedic language are eerily similar to an extent of being almost mutually intelligible.
Once upon a time entire Middle East and Asia were ruled by Persian Empires and Hindu empires❤ But after 7the century persia start to decline due to Islamic invaders. Persia and Hindusim both were 2 faces of single rupee many rituals and customs were similar and we had good relationship with many Persian kings 😊 Being a Hindu I want to see again revival of Persian community and we have to protect Persian identity by exploring more and more with the helf of govt and NGOs 😢 Now also we can see influence of Persian Civilizationa among Iranians because Iranians are not Muslims, they are anicnent Persians they might be muslims by outfits but by blood culture and hospitality they are Persians ❤ Hinduism & Persia❤
Lot's of words you used for the Parsi customs are similar to the Dharmic practices. The only thing I would correct is the word "Aryans" links to "Swastika" symbol. The word "Aryans" do not exists, nor the migration of Aryans Europeans migration is referenced in any of The Hindu, Buddhist, Jains, Surya, literatures, scriptures, or manuscripts. "Aryan migration theory" was introduced by the British invaders and should have been removed from our school texts when it was dismissed by the archeological findings coming out of Mohenjodaro and Harrapan civilizations in 1920-1940s, which was one of the main reason for the Partition, so that the truth will not come out.
True-We only see reference to the word Arya in regards to people or clans that spoke Sanskrit and adhered to dharma. This is first seen in the Rigveda wherein certain tribed were referred to as either Arya (meaning noble) or not (mleccha). These tribes were also not of the same race so clearly Arya never meant nor was intended to be a racial connotation as the Brits clearly misconstrued it to be.
Aryan migration has a lot of genetic and linguistic evidence, stop denying it. I know you think that white people made it up to feel superior to you but it actually a credible theory.
Many might not know but parsi community have a lot of sanatan culture impact because the people had migrated from India to iran very long time ago after the "battle of ten king" in which king bharat won and rest migrated to different places that time they were known as "parsus" Which is means "axe holding people" And later on known as "persians" And so zorastrians have lots of cultural similarities because we almost belonged to same culture even the have a close relationship with sanskrit... But western historians had wiped out a lot from our history...

I'm a Zoroastrian and idk why everyone in India are not accepting the Aryan theory. Maybe because there is alot of division among the indians. Zoroastrianism is quite different. There is no form of division in our religion and there are no rituals, food code etc. In persia everyone is more than happy to accept the Aryan theory. I'm a blonde parsi living in India with no European admixture whatsoever. I'm more than 90% persian. How can you explain that then? The more you move east towards Afghanistan and Iran, you will notice more European features. The only reason is that the persians are less mixed with the local population that's why they retain thier European genes. Where as the indo aryans are heavily mixed with the dravidians leaving no European features behind.

Parsis and Hindus are so deeply connected! Feeling so happy to have Parsis in our country. Parsis are so friendly and lovable. There's a certain section of people who keep on claiming that minorities face oppression in India. This is such an irrational argument.
Agreed! Parsis are the real minorities, even the vultures, but not - you know who!

I wish we had more Parsis in this country because I think it would have been beautiful to see our common spiritual culture evolve together. They are indeed beautiful people. I also wish we had more Buddhists, Jains than we do because we share more common connections with their spiritual traditions than you know who.
The one which claims oppression are the ones who are actually dominating and has done lots of genocides.

This is the beauty of india, we are bonded with infinite culture, traditions and rituals and share this heritage of love and happiness.
❤️❤️❤️
It's like learning English from a Japanese teacher. The core beliefs of these religions are based on sanatana dharma

Like the Jews, the Parsis are known for their contribution to society well above their numbers.

My question: do you think there will come a time when you and your community will be welcome in Iran?
Many rituals in Hinduism also involve visualisation, vibrations/words and hand gestures! Compels me to wonder about the depth of understanding our ancestors had of the workings of nature beyond just the physical/obvious. But I've observed that people are quick to label rituals as blind belief. Perhaps atleast until they find science validating aspects of metaphysics/pseudoscience. But for some reason, I feel that is far fetched. What are your thoughts, Freishia?

Now also we can see influence of Persian Civilizationa among Iranians because Iranians are not Muslims, they are anicnent Persians they might be muslims by outfits but by blood culture and hospitality they are Persians ❤
Hinduism & Persia❤
Hindus never ruled anything. There, was a Persian empire.
This was so informational. Thankyouu
Excellent Video, I really enjoyed it!
True
True-We only see reference to the word Arya in regards to people or clans that spoke Sanskrit and adhered to dharma. This is first seen in the Rigveda wherein certain tribed were referred to as either Arya (meaning noble) or not (mleccha). These tribes were also not of the same race so clearly Arya never meant nor was intended to be a racial connotation as the Brits clearly misconstrued it to be.
Aryan migration has a lot of genetic and linguistic evidence, stop denying it. I know you think that white people made it up to feel superior to you but it actually a credible theory.
Glad to know that Parsis and Hindu ppl are sharing some same rituals. 😀❤️
Are you Iranian
Got enriched - Thank you Freishia
You just earned a subscriber and a Fan , loved your content. Looking forward for more videos. 😊
I never thought parsi would have soo much common events and celebrations like Hinduism. Wow.
Zoroastrianism is the best religion in this world, the most beautiful wind of Zoroastrian religion ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wish Parsis were the second largest majority in India. India would have been a different country.
Wow! that was really quite insightful
Hey Freishia, Awesome video ! Happy Nowroz ☺ Can you please make a more elaborate video on both Aatish Behrams and Agiarys..? (If its permitted).. that would be super interesting !! 🙏☺
Thanks for providing insights into how Zoroastrianism is practiced today.
There is some excellent work on the similarity beween later Rig Veda and Zoroastrianism which is a stong evidence to it being founded by people from Bharat who settled in Iran. Quite amazingly Zaratushtra = Zarat (golden) + Ushtra (camel) in Sanskrit.
Loved ur explanation but just to make it clear hinduism is the most ancient religion ever but our textbooks dont say much about it the aryan thing which u said is actually made up there were no aryans as such you may refer to abhijit chawda for better understanding
And after what u said n fully convinced the parsees have adopted a form of hinduism itself so parsees and hindus are no different now in my opinion
Parsis have indic Vedic ancestory, same source Abhijeet Chavda
Dear Sister YOLO isn't correct
@@sarakumari3179 sorry my friend. When the indo Europeans arrived in Asia, they split into several different tribes. The indo-persians settled in Iran and the Indo-Aryans settled in North india
@@sassaniandynasty3796 I am also half Parsi, and I not at all believe in Aryan invasion theory. Which many of our historians had also proved is wrong.
Pls listen to Sanjay Dixit ji he is ready to give 2 crore if any one can proove, Aryan came from outside. We r the oldest civilization, who are living on this land from thousand of years
And Parsis have definitely Vedic roots, like sadra kasti, fire temple, diyo etc, I know very well, because in my house we practice both 🙏🙏
I had a parsi teacher in my school, he used to narrate stories about Iran that he had heard from his grandfather. He believed that ancient parsi had the power to invoke the Agni devata since for the obvious reasons parsis are the direct descendants of Agni Dev.
This was soo cool. Some things I knew but so many didn't. Thnkuu frieshia 🥰🥰
A very wonderful insight into Parsi Traditions. Now in search of a Parsi friend.
a community that has served bharat with it's richness both culturally and materially. Always love this community(THE PARSIS)
Please make more videos. Please make a whole series. Wanna know deeper and deeper.
Not gonna lie, Parsis are good people who mind their own business but their obsession with purity might result in a complete obliteration of their culture in a few centuries time.
Always look forward to ur video freishia
Good knowledgeable video n very much thank u for d same
Hello, I am someone who has spents years learning about world religion, Ive even taken a 6 week course with the University of London just for fun. This is the first time I ever hear about metals & the magnetic field. Thank you for making this video!
How accepted are inter marriages in the Parsi community? Are Parsis married to non Parsis treated well?
Well, they got no choice at this point
all Parsis have Indian DNA they have lived there for thousands of years.
There is a reason why Parsis look quite different from the average Indian. Racial purity is important
@@sassaniandynasty3796 what do you mean racial purity? all Parsis are mixed race and have Indian DNA they are not pure. The pure Persians are from Iran(Persia) some have 100% Persian DNA.
@@KayvanKermani yeah but some are less mixed than the others. That's why parsis come in all different colors.
It was the same case when the Aryans arrived in India. Modern indians have mixed blood that's why they come in all different colors
