Oh I can relate Tuli. We lived in Germany in the early 50’s and I had a Steif teddy bear. I am still upset w my brother, he threw it out the car window. So, when I see one that looks like him....

If a good piece is too inexpensive are I hesitate to buy wondering what it is hiding.
It could be a bargain that you are not buying! Identify the piece first. Don't look at the price. People under price things all the time because they don't care or they mis-identify.
The problem here is that Dr. Lori gives her the price things are going for online, but in general, and especially in small towns, a store doesn't have the customer base to command those prices. So if the owner uses those prices, she is unlikely to sell them to regular customers anytime soon, and pickers are unlikely to buy at those prices either.
The market is an online global market now. If you want to command top dollar, you have to market items outside of a small town store where a customer base is not paying what items are really worth. I'll show you how. Of course, pickers/resellers aren't paying top dollar. Thanks for watching.

Let's be honest. There is no staging at all for these items. People arent going to just buy items sitting on a shelf. They need to see how the lamp may fit their environment/aesthetic.

You would spend 25.00 on disposable plates and cups. That set was inexpensive.

Dr. Lori, I thought these "Thrift With Me" videos were going to be you going out with a bargain shopper looking for bargains. Instead you're telling thrift store owners how to really price/the true value of their items, which is essentially pricing us bargain shoppers out of their stores!
I help resellers and bargain hunters. I leave the bargains there for you! Other thrift with me folks don’t leave the bargains for you...they buy it for themselves! I want you to succeed.
