Did you know that Abraham Lincoln suffered from Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia 2B? I only know that because I have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia 2A. Pointless fact of the day people...lol. Another amazing shopping spree. I had my cuppa tea and a chocolate biscuit today while watching. My afternoon is complete...lol
I heard it speculated that he also suffered from Marphan Syndrome,. Did you know he was so tall none of the beds at the a White House were big enough and he had to have a special one made?
@@Kathryn4268 That is spot on! Marfans is also something people with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia 2B can get. It is such a rare illness, it is my favourite Lincoln fact! He had the look of someone with MEN2B. Poor guy www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/lincoln-may-be-first-recorded-case-of-rare-disease/
Beautiful glass you found today! A couple of times I gasped out loud when you pulled a gorgeous piece of glass out of the cabinet - amazing stuff! And, I apologize if this is too personal, I'm a little concerned that you may be pushing yourself too hard. When that happens to me it's usually because I try to do everything myself instead of divvying up the work! Thank you for showing us all of that wonderful art glass and take care!
Robin Williams I think she was filming a lot so that she’d have a lot of new footage to post while she’s on vacation (with her family). But you’re right, she did look/sound like she was pushing herself pretty hard. The videos have been pretty great though, so her hard work has paid off!
Wow, what a great shopping day! That was so very satisfying. *chuckle* So many amazing things! It was almost more than my heart could take. But I can’t help but hope that Andrew sends you back for the Lincoln piece; we all know he’d love it. Thanks for a truly amazing video, Jocelyn!
Don’t worry about your total quite so much. Part of what sets your eBay apart is that it has some great quality pieces and they take the up front investment. My only thought is to maybe spread out over more time so collectors can compete over one or two pieces. To many of the same type appears to decrease prices. To many choices makes it easier to pass on all of them. At least that’s the way auctions seem to work to me.
Such beautiful glassware - elegant, unique and absolutely stunning! I could easily have swooped in and scooped it all into that tiny shopping basket. I'll bet you decide to keep one or possibly more of those pieces. You chose exceptionally well Jocelyn. And your final bill? Well, you need superior quality ware if you intend to make a profit and these were well above that class. I am now a convert to the more luxe pieces thanks to your preferences and your knowledge and I'm finally starting to see the beauty in those wildly coloured pieces. Again, you taunt me with your short video but it was definitely worth the wait. Remember, you have so many loyal followers who would love to seen an hour long video so maybe something to consider? Please? Pretty please? Pretty, pretty, pretty, please?
Those turquoise foo dogs are a hot commodity right now. Pre shutdown I have sold about twenty pieces. That set is around fifty to sixty dollars for the pair.
I loved the green Murano glass bowls. They are gorgeous. Also the small vase with the cherub. Beautiful. Thank you for taking us along with you. I love Murano glass. I have 2 large murano bowls that are almost identical. I bought one and then my daughter found one somewhere and she bought it. I had to practically beg her for that bowl. I actually replaced it with another one that she saw and liked. I have these 2 end tables in my living room that the legs sort of meet and form a circle before they flair back out. They always seemed strange to me.lol. I put those bowls in the the "circle" in each table. They look like they were made for it. The tops of the table are glass with some type of iron decorative design under the glass top. So you can see the bowls from the top and from the side. They are beautiful. My bowls are a yellow with gold and swirls of orange in them. Stay safe and God Bless
Are you ever leery of of pulling items out of the cabinet with one hand? Have you ever had anything break? I’m scared watching you but you do a good job!
Wow, what beautiful Moreno glass. They sparkled like gems. You have a great eye for quality items. I love how you are able to maneuver vases in a crowded area. You have a small fortune in your vehicle. ❤
What a fantastic antique store, delicious art glass and below market prices😃can wait till your Team gets the pieces listed! Congratulations to an beyond excellent Master Picker, 👏🎉👏🎉👏🎉👏🎉👏🎉👏🎉👏❤️
I like the one bowl that you said had a deceptive sticker on it, regardless of origin. It was simply gorgeous with those weblike white swirls. . Also the green bowl with opalescent tips in the cabinet with Murano. Great purchases. Murano is not my thing, really, but I'm so happy for you!
Oh what an epic murano glass haul today! I was full of delight right along with you! Some days you just hit the jackpot! I can't wait till the items are listed. I do just wish you had also picked up the Portrait vase you put back. I love those! Grazie again for another great video! Till tomorrow!
Joslaline and If I spelt you name incorrectly I am sorry. At time 3:44 of this video you show a ceramic vase, of which I have one very similar but have never been able to find its value. It is quite old as my father said this I am the third generation to inherit it. Do you have any idea who makes it and its worth. You get a full view of it at 3 minutes and 47 seconds. I see you show it a couple more time, but you never commented on it. Thanks you so much for taking the time to answer my question. Lester
I have to admit to being very intrigued by the drum with the (looks like) First Nations, or PacNW art on it, when you're looking at the funky purple vase. It's so cool! Around 9:50.
That Abraham Lincoln vase would make an amazing Christmas gift for Andrew. I am positive that he would love it. And it will look good in his office will all the other civil war pieces.
The Lincoln vase at time 3:22, if I am not nistaken is hand built by a pretty well known ceramicist whos name i cant recall and he is known doing transfer work like that.
You missed the poor shepherd dog with a cast on, in John's booth. There was a lot that you missed that was really cute, you should try to not look though the viewfinder. I just want to come with that suggestion. 😊 Those glass pieces that you picked are simply beautiful. I especially love the purple stretch glass. It's simply beautiful, purple is also my favourite colour! 💜💜💜🇩🇰
Hi Jocelyn, beautiful glassware, love all of it. When I clean hard water or minerals out of glass, I use denture tablets. Maybe you do as well, just thought I’d mention it.
This isn't about glass or your other purchases , but what foundation and/or powder do you use? You face always looks flawless! Also, been loving your hair!!
It was a lot to spend in one shop, but when you find quality art you can and will make money on, hey it's a good investment. Whats an artsy smart gal gonna do? Try soaking the green angel vase with denture tablets to get the water stains out.. Works great for old bottle too. Too bad the unique Lincoln vase had a scratch across his face. Probably why it's still there. I would look at the signature and contact maker on cost of repair.
Did anyone else catch the enamel white with red rim basin at beginning that had Christmas bulbs? Finally something to do with my Dad’s. I kept it for sentimental reasons but had no idea what to do with it. There’s probably other items besides Christmas bulbs that would work as well.
I think there was a bell that matched your pink and white bowl, in the case she struggled to open. It was right behind the handle. Dying to know if it was a matchy match. 😯😄
Great haul today; I love all the glass, especially the purple piece!! I loved the Bristol glass portrait piece; I hope you pick it up next time. I have a pitcher matching the lily pad one shown at 3:30; if my research is correct it is a majolica piece from the late 19th century by Joseph Holdcroft. So pretty but you had your eye on glass today! ;)
I'm new to the channel and loving it, but what does you tattoo say? I keep trying to read it every time you pick something up ! You can tell me to mind my own business I wont be offended 🙂
Jocelyn those glass pieces, wow you hit the mother load!! By any chance did you know who the vender of that booth was? Such great beautiful pieces, I hope you decide to keep several. Off of subject, but when you go to an antique store do you usually look in every booth? Also as always you look GREAT Jocelyn, take care.
I love the pair of turquoise colored Foo Dogs inside the cabinet!!!!
Me too!
The Abraham Lincoln piece would be a great gift for Andrew.
I was thinking, that would be a great Christmas present, its going to be here sooner than you think. :)
I was going to write the same thing ! Lol.:).
It was sooooo ugly. 😬
I am so addicted to your videos. The day just isn't right without my dose of Crazy Lamp Lady.

Thank you for this information. Very interesting. He had Marfan's Syndrome too, didn't he? Or was it a misdiagnosis?

Wow! That "Thomas Jefferson 😉" vase was very interesting!
Bahaha. Yes!!!
You have helped today - I've had a latticino vase on my desk for a month just waiting to be identified and now it has a name! Thank you so much!
Yeah you bought a few pieces but if you don’t buy them when you see them they may not be there next time
I'm absolutely so jealous that you get to spend hours amongst all of those beautiful things!!! You have a great 👁.
You should re-brand from 'Crazy Lamp Lady' to 'Crazy Glass Lady' and that was a beautiful selection of glass.
jacqueline barlow lol
I was thinking the same thought. 😂 I have not seen a single lamp purchase. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love art glass heavy ashtrays. I've always used them. I have a huge 70s bright orange one. I've had for years. There all so unique though 🙂

LOL at 1:36 the captions read, "That's a cute butt face!" when Jocelyn picked up the bud vase. Made me laugh!
Hahaha.
What do you mean a deceptive label? Also did you find anything out about the Lincoln vase ?
I am truly amazed by your vast knowledge of glassware! You go, girl!!

What a smorgasbord of Art Glass! Wow!! Incredible! I need to visit some antique shops/malls around here! Thanks for taking us along!
Thank you, gentle voice, gentle hands, beautiful things, yo took me away again. hugs
The blue glass piece behind the purple piece looked amazing!
I thought so, too! I was waiting for you to pick that up and look at it!

Having my morning coffee and watching all this beautiful glass. Wow.
My favorite piece was the green vase with the cherub angel. But I liked everything as usual!
The glass choices today were incredible. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
I liked the Opal colours on the bowl you fixed back upright on the shelf. Very pretty!
How do you know an art glass piece is vintage cuz I see so many at homegoods ? It’s makes me skeptical and wonder if I’m just buying something modern
That Lincoln vase would make a nice Christmas gift for Andrew. What was the price on it? Beautiful art glass!
Exactly what I was thinking!!!
That’s what I thought as well. 😉
Crazy , I’m thinking the same a gift for Andrew. If he’s got a Birthday, or Christmas is coming. He’d flip out.

Andrew would be over the moon for that vase !!!!!
If Andrew doesn’t keep it 😀

That black gold one! Totally interested once listed!

Jocelyn the nude glass bottles are not vintage. They were made for Varoom Vodka around 2010 or 2011, I think located in CA.
Thank-you! I bought it at Goodwill for a few bucks because I thought it looked interesting. I’be been obsessed with figuring it out.
Crazy Lamp Lady .. they are awesome. I bet you will sell them for good money. The only reason I know about them is because my hubby has one.
The piece with Abe Lincoln was amazing. I have to tell you, I have the actual newspaper from the day Abe was shot.
Exquisite pieces Jocelyn. I know you spent a lot but you will make good money on these.
The Crystal Clear bowl was beautiful and it was only $15 after the discount. Please Get it next time.
You hit the mother load...really liked the Lincoln piece ...liked your choices

What are ways to know a piece is Murano ? SHAPE ? , Weight ? , Markings ?
I love the creaking floors
Beautiful art glass!!!
You're going to have to change your name to "The Crazy Murano Lady".
Kelda Og 😂 I agree

Latticino, right? And you got 2 pieces... And it was gone when you panned by it again... You DID get it!?! Yeah!
Can you do some research on the Lincoln vase? That was a mazing!!

Please tell me a bit about that gold Perfume bottle with the flat side. I have an exact one but don’t know about it.
It won't let me thumbs up, but I'm here.
Andrew would have liked that vase to go in his "collection" room.
