Instead of terror of the peak you can try railway brawler. It have trample and can doubles creature's power; but most importantly, it have plot so it doesn't have to combo with smuggler's surprise.

Every one of my fave creators is brewing out of their mind right now, Amy the Amazonian, Ashlizzle, Sonio, and LVD, Just disgustingly good decks.
Railway brawler also works well with calamity/terror of the peaks

I crafted a similar teck today, but then I found out that Calamity has a bug. It creates only one copy of a saddled creature if you are prompted to attack a player or battle/planeswalker.
