Man you nailed it, not many options for the NASB. It really stinks because I prefer the NASB over the ESV but just not enough affordable options. The Zondervan NASB versions are not bad but I cant find a large print thin-line in anything besides bonded leather... and I think they have stopped printing them now, I guess their contract with LF ran out.
I have this in British tan. I got it pre-owned and I love it. I love their leather so much. I love that the cover is stitched around the edges (and their PSQ is perfect for on the go!). I was gifted an Allan silverline, and I absolutely love that one too (I like verse by verse. I agree with you that making the verse numbers red in the Schuyler would be great). They each have aspects that I prefer over the other, but you can’t go wrong with either one. I am very grateful to have them - but of course, we all know, it’s what they contain that truly matters 🥰 Enjoyed your review, thanks!
I purchased one of these about 6 months ago from the place that sent you this one. I will say that it is by far my favorite bible. Note for people purchasing a new one, it will come tightly wrapped up in the box to prevent damage. If there was one thing I would change on this Bible, I wish it had red lettering in the New Testament for the words that Jesus spoke. Other than that, this Bible is exactly how you describe. I really love it. I would be interested one day of getting a NKJV Schuyler. Thanks for your videos and reviews. Stay safe during your move sir. God Bless
The layout on these is incredible. The text is huge and super crisp. The paper is milky smooth. The bleed through is minimal for how thin the paper is. It's a tad large for carrying around everywhere for my preference. But to me it's the perfect home reader or preacher, or daily carry Bible for those needing large text.
One of the things i don't like about the modern bibles is the paragraph format. I love how the KJV and the NKJV goes verse by verse. Just a little side thing, haha but that Bible looks gorgeous man!
I'm favoring the paragraph format lately, but you can get most translations in verse-by-verse, even in a premium Bible. If you like the ESV, the Cambridge Topaz in ESV is vbv; Crossway also has a vbv ESV Preaching Bible. NASB? Zondervan's single-column reference edition has you covered, as does their NASB Preacher's Bible. CSB? Holman publishes a vbv CSB reference Bible. I'm sure I've seen vbv Schuyler Bibles, but I don't see any right now at their site. Similarly, though I don't think I've seen a paragraph-format KJV, I know I've seen NKJV that way.
You got one!! I believe I told you that this is my favorite Bible! I have the Black (to write in), and the Antique Marble to keep clean for reading. I also got the British Tan, which I gave to my daughter. I really love this Bible. I love it even more than the R. A. Allan NASB Bible which I find too busy on the page. This one is clean, easy on the eyes, the leather is amazing, and it feels SO good in my hands.
That black with the blue ribbons is gorgeous! Although from what I know of your tastes in bibles, a little bit surprised you love this format so much, but very happy for you that you do, you deserve the best of the bestest ☺️🙌📖!! I have never myself been a big fan of the Quentels cuz of not having enough words per line for a comfortable enough read for me. I finally did get a good deal on a "like new" Personal Size Quentel ESV, & confirmed exactly what I had thought. I much prefer the Crossway thinline edition layouts, & by far prefer my ESV Pitt minion layout (which does have the separated footnotes from the center column references also as you mentioned, which I love as well!). Another personal preference I have for the NASB is it needs to be verse by verse layout for better study, & I also prefer red letter (when done well, dark red 😉). With the PSQ I had, I also didn't care too much to keep looking at the bottom for the cross references then back up to the text, I'm more used to having the refs near to the verses for quicker access. Anyhoo, that's just my personal prefs, after a few years in the premium bible groups, etc, you get to really know what you like 😛. Looking forward to your vid on fixing your Q 👍. (Wish you had left your Green Power Ranger figure on the table also 😝🤙)
Does the Schuyler NASB use the "Smaller Caps" (Really Large Caps which are smaller) in the New Testement when quoting the Old Testement like the Lockman Bibles do?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my NASB Personal Size Quentel. I want the full size to go with it. =)
Eddie Jeffries I love the PSQ too! Amazing readability for a smaller sized Bible!
I enjoy all your videos. I learn something new with each one and your added humour is refreshing. Thank You oou

Love this bible. It's definitely he best NASB out there currently. This bible is the bestselling edition at Evangelical Bible for a reason.

Soooo glad for your personality!
I ordered a brick red one as a Christmas present to myself. It is on preorder and should ship mid-late December.? I can’t wait!
A fellow brother in Christ AND a fellow Power Rangers fan! Double win!
Absolutely!!!
This is the Bible I want!! Beautiful Bible!!
The 11 point font scares me! I'm so used to the Crossway 8.5 in their Portfolio Tru-Tone.
Just discovered your channel. I love your style and vigor. Subscribed.
It's Morphin time!
What a beautiful Bible! Hope to one day have a Bible that nice.
Good luck on fixing it.
Looks very nice. How about a link in the description to where we can buy one? Sorry if it's already there and I missed it.
That morpher tho.
I have a Bible to fix up as well and I got in touch with RL Allan they recommend PVA glue you can get it on Amazon
Watch tomorrow’s video 😉
Jason Mayfield Looking forward to it😉
Came for the review. Stayed for the power morpher.
Does the Schuyler NASB use the "Smaller Caps" (Really Large Caps which are smaller) in the New Testement when quoting the Old Testement like the Lockman Bibles do?
Yep! :-)
I wish it was verse by verse
It's not meant to be read verse by verse. Verses were added much later
I have the British Tan one! I KNOW what you mean when you discuss how awesome this is!
It looks like a lovely Bible. Thanks for the review!
Jason - do a video on why you're moving away from single column please!?
Solid video as always! But, Bro... red verse numbers is a terrible idea! (IMO)
Does schuyler make a Nasb single column
Yes!!! Praise Jesus🙌🏽🙌🏽❤❤ My is in the dark purlple. And Oh the smell 🤩🤩🤩
Is goatskin better than calfskin?
That is a awesome bible. I enjoy your review.
Ghosting! Why so much ghosting on a Bible this price. Such a shame. Thanks for the video. I can’t spend that for so much bleed through
I like a verse by verse bible. So much easier to read and find verses.
28 gsm. Allan reader 36 gsm
Does anyone know if its the 1995 NASB edition text? Thank you!
1995
You’re losing weight... great job!
Sniff and cuddle test even. Haha...
Also, I just noticed I got unsubscribed to you! I resubbed, but still 😮
