  • The Big SMP companies are not showing you enough healed results. Most of the time you will see photos of the day of treatment. Not two weeks or even 2 months down the road. Therefore you aren't getting a real representation of what the treatment will actually look like.
    This is just one example watch the video and let us know your thoughts.

      Joe you have a bias towards the single needle as you don't have good experience with the triple needle. Why don't you try the 0403 bishop or fit needles. Use a critical atom set it at 6.5 for good skin. Angle your hand forward so that the needle Penetrates the skin towards you at a angle and give the skin a tight spread. Try and get 3 to 4 smp follicle replication per second. And see thr result. At least start using it in the crown area until you get use to it.

    Yea, if you take good photos with your phone, and then zoom in, you can see if the artist filled in all the spots evenly and full.
    The issue I'm having with my artist is that he advertises that he has five plus years experience, but when we were talking he said he's been doing it for just two years.
    The issue with him, is that he is soo scared to make things too dark, or filled in, that he's using too light of ink, and not filling in areas.
    This is making my SMP look a bit too light, and blotches of light spots throughout the top of my head.
    He tried blaming it on me, saying that I could have eczema, or didn't do after care right. The thing is, my wife has looked at my head after each session and has pointed out these light areas as not being inked in, and I've told the guy this each time, but he just never listened to me, and just says, "I don't want you to look like you are wearing a hat"
    Well, my wife took some good photos, and when zoomed in on these spots, you can clearly see that he did not do as many ink dots as the darker spots.
    He is clearly too insecure to fill them in, because he thinks that if they are done too closely, they'll bleed or be too dark.
    As I've learned from watching youtube SMP artists, once the session heals, it won't bleed if you happen to put some ink on healed ink.
    In the photos, you can see huge gaps in the ink, which causes light spots, that I can clearly see with good lighting.
    I wish that I would have asked for photos of end results, and went to a more well known artist in my area.
    I noticed that my artist is obsessed with how the SMP looks right after the session, but me, I've learned that it only matters what the healed results are.

Had it done by a random lady I knew, she's a professional make up artist so she had that natural skill before she learned smp. She is literally the best in the UK. And I only had 3 sessions, but tbh I wasn't sure i wanted the third as it looked so good with 2, but had third as we made slight changes to hairline. 4 or 5 sessions seems like a money grab to me but hey thats me.

      That is a great topic and there is very little info about it.
      First, we are fans of natural products and avoiding foreign chemicals. So, for these reasons we don’t like Selsun blue.
      Also, baby shampoo has a high tendency to dry scalps regardless of dry skin issues, so we not recommend that either.
      To control the dry skin it is an overall assessment of shampoo, lotions, (if needed) diet, sun exposure, etc.

      The best advice for a person in your position is to make sure your artist is making impressions the same size as your native hair stubble. This is especially important in the frontal regions.
      The “feathering” or softness of the hairline is the hardest achievement for an artist especially when considering on a healed result. Thats in addition to ensuring that the Hairline Jaron has the most appropriate flow for your features.
      Hopefully they can prove this through Instagram pictures and videos, website gallery, or the like.

    3 sessions is more than enough, than touch ups every 2-3 years, i understand you want your customers to come back regularly 👀 but anymore than 3 is over kill. Any talented smp artist would not need more than 3 sessions.

    • @scalp_logic
      @scalp_logic  2 роки тому +1

      Any picture proof your understanding? Meaning are there pictures up close enough to see detail (spotlight challenge) of an old treatment result and then putting more ink to “fix” or “enhance” with a touch up?
      The nonsense of putting ink on top of a treatment that already has old ink that has settled for years, and the goal of looking natural or real is still in play? There is no chance. Ink does not naturally fade or disappear, it continues to settle into the skin.
      Once too much ink is implanted in the scalp, the chance of a natural or realistic result is gone.
      Please send links to talented artists showcasing up close and healed pictures after 2-3 sessions. 🤓

    • @scalp_logic
      @scalp_logic  2 роки тому +1

      @Michael We certainly do recommend touch ups as needed as long as ink can be added without compromising a NATURAL appearance (impressions truly look like hair stubble).
      There is so much information that says smp requires touch ups every few years and it’s an ignorant assumption.
      Currently we receive a lot of phone calls from guys who’ve completed 1 session with the most popular and established places and then recognize too much ink is sitting in their scalps and dots/impressions are much larger than their native hair stubble.
      The point is, once too much ink is sitting in the skin, putting more ink on to correct it with the intention to have a NATURAL appearance is crazy!

    • @scalp_logic
      @scalp_logic  2 роки тому +2

      @Michael Your question highlights the necessity to get SUBTLE P.
      Subtle Pigmentation, when done correctly will always look real, even through the settling process long periods of time.
      The reason it’s possible is because we implant ink at the most superficial area of the skin, this technique is super hard to get accomplish.

      Hello 👋 no one is doing subtle p. We recommend looking at Healed results, Hairlines, Blending, and speaking to previous clients if possible

    How about showing a " healed" head. You scold potential clients like they should know the difference.

      We do our best to speak truths and facts about confusing information in our industry. It’s disappointing there is so much confusion and such a lack of knowledge on the subject.
      We show many healed results up close on our IG @ScalpLogic.
      If you believe we scold potential clients, it’s probably because we get a lot of calls from guys who have done good research and still have no clue about the different levels of standards and how to identify them.

      @@scalp_logic well putting dots on a head is 5% of the job. The other 95% is customer care.
      I'll be choosing somewhere else simply based on the fact that I don't need to be chastised for not being an expert on head tattooing.

      @@slimpickens3863 Whether you come with us or not we respect your decision, but we don’t want guys getting botched and we help many people understand this art form on another level.
      We don’t blame consumers, there is simply a lack of knowledge (it’s a new industry) and there is a lot of misleading marketing.
      We’re sorry you feel chastised, that is not our intention. We do get multiple calls a day hearing from guys that got botched or are unhappy with their treatment.
      Yes a big portion is customer care, but the biggest portion is the artistry, because that’s what a guy has to live with.
