The fact that you put the pit walk in with the meet and greet of the team owners and drivers , just puts the video to a whole new level.

That was a great interview with David from the Tuff e Nuff crew, Ive commented before on the boats history as Loose Canon and it was great that he told the story of the boat and awesome to see him finish 2nd by the looks of it? Nice coverage Howard and FANTASTIC interviews.

in 1983 they had big drag boat meet n carshow at windsor. me n a great mate he my monaro deviate n wayne flemings seducer van . if this is same event thats 41yrs its been going for .thanks for bringing back memories bud

Impressive how hard the chasing boats can still bank inside the bow waves and around the buoys.
Any experience I’ve had in boats tells me that could get uncomfortable on the backside 😂

Yes the Barra is getting quicker too. Unfortunately they had a big engine bay fire at the last event. It’s getting repaired.

Don't get me wrong l love the Barra Turbo .
I own a FG XR6 UTE 2010 N/A & the last Metallic Blue FG-X XR6 TURBO UTE auto December 2016 with the 3 peice hard top lid & 330 kw . Looks standard 👌 and isn't.
If l had the spare coin $$ l would build a billet block & head after market Barra Engine & kindly ask Plazzman from Sydney 2 build me a shell 4 a Whipple Cupronickel Intercooler Core & drop it in a Boat . Most likely a 19ft Daytona Eliminator Jet . With 1500/1700 hp the thing would be a Rocket 🚀

went to this event in the early 1990,s,, it needs more advertising maybe on mainstream radio, i never knew it was still going,, bottomless pit racing for sure.

Have to say I like the boat's but not the racing, as which ever boat is on the inside has a huge advantage and always wins 99 out of 100. They should just drag race like they do in the USA. Just my 2 cents.
there are different style boats for drag racing, the pole sitter is the fastest in the quailfing and heats just like most motorsports get the best starting position.
Do you think they only drag race in the US? maybe you think they only drag race cars aswell.
