Thanks for this video. I just replaced all the lines, condenser and accumulator a week ago. Two days later my ac would stop working as soon as any cold air came out. I checked with a meter, and this sensor was out. 👍
Thank you so much. I believe you answered my question I have a Nissan.NV 200 minivan never could find a low pressure switch. I believe they have an evaporator thermostat that is doing the same thing it’s working off of the evaporator temperature instead of suction pressure. I’m pretty sure this is my problem except I haven’t seen any videos on it however, when I look at AC evaporator thermostat for an NV 200 , 2019 model there it is evaporator thermostat just like what you’re having on your model thank you so much I believe I’m on the right trail now thanks again Michael Ray Cartwright, Senior, a.k.a. wild man, Monk
I’m happy I was able to help you.
Super good video! Thanks
Thank you Adrian. You made it so easy for me.
Plus your filming was so efficient by prepping ahead of time.
Awesome
WooKongNinja I’m happy that was able to help you
Great video helped me out tremendously
Sean Brown I’m glad I was able to help someone out there
Perfect thank you for your help
My truck, the nissan frontier, does not activate the compressor..it is v6, that will be the problem just that the filter box is sealed..it does not have a filter..where would that sensor be brought up in this video?
Thank you
Did the button stop illuminating until you replaced the sensor? I thought I had a bad a/c switch (button), because I have the same problems and there is no light on the button. Maybe the light is burned out but the switch is good and the thermal sensor needs to be replaced.
Eric Siskosky in this case the light was working the problem was the thermal sensor
I can't seem to find that part. It's been discontinued.
Eric Siskosky di a google search on part number of the link I post from amazon I found them in eBay
Very good this video 👍👍🥶
Damn, maybe this was wrong with mines.
My compressor wAs acting weird. I tried to take the clutch plate off, but it is stuck on the. I removed the 10mm bolt and I can’t get plate off. What a pain
Was the a/c botton light on?
Does your ac compressor stays on constantly or does it cycle every few minutes?
I just had my evaporator core, expansion valve, ac compressor and drier changed out of my 2000 Nissan Frontier and I noticed that my compressor cycles every few minutes. Was just wondering if that was normal or does it have to stay on all the time
Kevin Perez it depends on weather too did you put the correct amount of refrigerant?
Kevin Perez some times is normal
It wasn’t me A shop filled the system for me
Kevin Perez will say is normal
Mine blows, but is warm air. It has gas on the system, even the light goes blue...
Did you test the thermo switch already like I show in video ?
@@adrian120708 I'll do that next. Don't want to spend money on a new compressor....
Adrian Mendoza use a test light and Check power and ground at compressor connector Truck running and ac on if you get power and ground at connector you need a ac compressor
@@adrian120708 Ok, thanks...
What's the name of that switch
