42 years old and this song is still amazing. This song still hits home for me. Probably more now more than ever. If youve never felt this way,,,,,your lucky.
Slowly starting to get better in the uk dude , some choice new bands , hollowstar , piston , mason hill , Dacca & Roxanne , those damm crowes , to name a few , they are out there !
Exactly! Can’t judge them based on one thing, Puddle Of Mudd have gotten me through a lot of hard times in my life and I’ll always stick by them. One bad choice, we have all made bad choices
It's sad to see that all the original members left the band... And when I hear this song I ask myself : "why did they never get the success that they deserved? This song is amazing lml
@@brandoncarter6141 6 years ago, Wes left the stage during a concert in England because he was under alcohol and Drugs effect, and before that happen he had been arrested for vandalism. I hung out with Wes one time after a show they played at the Rock box in San Antonio Texas. The show was amazing of course and Wes was so nice to me. He gifted me his scarf that night, it was such an amazing night. His band member are super down to earth. I love those guys. I went to see them in Keller Tx and I got to hang out with them that night. The guys were sitting at the bar after the show and I went over to introduce my self and get a picture. I couldn't believe they were just there sitting having some drinks. Michael John Adams is such an amazing guy. After I got my picture with them Michael asked if I wanted to join them at their table. I sat between Michael and Matt and had an amazing night chatting with the guys. That was one of the top 10 best moments of my life.
I told my wife at the time to listen to this song because it was the way I was feeling at the time and as luck would have it turned out to be exactly right!😢
Such talent, remember thinking when I first listened to them when I was 16ish of how big I thought they were going to be for years to come. I’m 35 now and the talent listening to all their songs again now is so nostalgic and sad of the way the band went. Cross between nirvana and foo fighters I thought. Such great songs.
Cheers tyler. you and I are the same age and we rocked out to these guys at the same point in our lives. I don't know about you, but I always felt pretty "sophisticated" in my rock taste years later when I would mention PoM and the others around me would be like "oh yeah, those guys were great! whatever happened to them?"
I loved the way they sounded always but I didn't know a lot by them. I recently have been going through a lot and I'm at the point where every single song of theirs is keeping me afloat rn. No matter the subject matter, even just the music is helping. This song in particular I've now listened to atleast 10 times now in a row because it's just bringing me straight back to the 90s. A sort of melancholy of wow it feels good to hear this and, wow now I really understand this. It's like eating super sour candy. I want it cause it's candy but it's painful to eat. But it's candy.
when this song first came out i was just completly impressed.the lyrycs,the timeing,the originality...this is what performers go for! its almost a perfect song...in my opinion.
With the exception of those with a broad taste in music and those who grew up in this era at its peak and were old enough to drive off with friends and enjoy the moment the music with no distractions are absolutely missing out when it comes to music like this.
I must say that being born in 81 put me dead in the middle of the greatest era of rock music. Being a teenager with no cell phone , a car, friends and music was the best.
One of my favorite bands,especially in the early 200's. Too bad with the problems they had. Good to see Wes touring still and hopefully he has got his life straightened out.

Puddle of Mudd deserves more recognition.

Yes they ABSOLUTELY DO!!!
No doubt about that man

That scream in the beginning is one in a million.
This is why his voice is shot lmao
There is no scream. It's just a high note with drive.

Probably more like a 100 in a million, which is 100/1000000 which is 0.0001%

+Manas Sharma Edge Cobain? :-P
cobain=Kurt cobain(the Nirvana singer)
Edge=wwe wrestler
They all look remarkably similar
Manas Sharma Oh I know that, I was just saying Edge Cobain, as a first and last name. :-)
Oh... Silly me! Yeah that would be a cool name lol.... :P :D
If he ever falls down again, we the fans need to pick him back up and save him! Don't let Wes become another Scott Weiland, Chris Cornell, or Layne.

This album is underrated. Almost seems to fall under the radar in this era of hard rock.
