Lyrics:
There was atime, looking through myself
Wanting to pretend
If I escaped, I could fill myself
I don't think you can
Been far and wide
But that hole inside
Never really leaves
When I went away, what I really left
Left behind was me
It's telling me
To be on my way home
Million miles away
I can't stay

I heard this song at a local party and asked what it was. Conspiracy Of One was my first owned album ever. I got my parents to buy me one (the skull was an issue) and when I put the CD in my stereo... Guy... My teenage soul couldn't comprehend it. I will remember that day until I die. Every single song was a banger. That was the day I decided to start playing guitar. I listen to The Offspring to this day.
Still have the CD.
was my first one to!! I learned to play guitar thanks to this album!
У меня так же было брат😊 .привет из России 😊
Still playing the guitar?
someone had a conspiracy of one sticker on their chrome book and when i asked if he listened to the band, he didn’t know the offspring was a band. i’ve never felt so disappointed in my entire existence :(
Aidan Cohen ik :(
😂🤣
Why? You should have enligtened them, introduce them to the world of Punk!
Blasphemy
the same with Thrasher clothing and skating here...and those are the ones praying that nobody should use other cultures just for style😑
If you remember this Masterpiece song you are not old you are high quality vintage. 💞👌😊👍
Years and years later. Several gray hairs later, several failed romances later, 1 global pandemic later, this song still kicks ass on an entirely different level.
Best comment ever!!!
I am just glad I saw them for the first time before Covid NexusOne....see you at the next show....peace
Woooord! It's kinda sad that I discovered this song when I was 10 and didn't have a clue what they were singing, cause my English was quite limited back then. And yet, even the grey hairs fit here for me.
This one is even better than when it came out!!
Gay hair
One of the best Offspring songs ever made, the year 2000 was such a great time to be alive..
Spooktacular Wheatley: sadly I wasn't..
This Channel I wasn't ether
At least you guys will listen to it :^)
Spooktacular Wheatley ýugjgb and
This Channel Same. I only 13
I was deeply, madly in love with Offspring 20 years ago before moving on to melodic death. A random conversation with my wife today suddenly reminded me how much headbanging I did to this song, so I came here to give it another listen. And boy, did it *not* disappoint. It's not even nostalgia - the song's actually *better* than I remembered. I mean, I didn't remember it had a solo.
What an absolute masterpiece of composition and energy.
Their music keeps me feeling alive.
Keep livin keep rockin bro
Asi es!! Esta rola es un himno
me too 😍
yeaaah feel the same
Me too!!
Summer 2024. Can't wait!! 🤘🇬🇷
This song could definitely be considered as metal, some of that chugging is super heavy
Love Offspring! They are one of the few bands that managed to fuse Rock, Metal and Punk together seamlessly and still be so much fun to listen to and watch.
yes!!!!!!
@@paulleberre7658 eargasms indeed
The Offspring and Green Day. Two of the greatest bands, sharing the same decade in their prime, who never wrote or performed a less than great song. Every song on every album they've ever made, was a fucking great song.
Except Cruisin' California (Bumpin' In My Trunk)
Absolute trip down memory lane
Saw them when I was a young lad early 2000’s
Now I’ve been and watched them as a 33 year old and they still rock
I bought my Skyline GTR in this year and had this tune blasting out. Still sounds good as I approach 50 and despite all the shit that the world has gone through, I still own it and listen to this tune in it. Reminds me of the good times. Peace!
Enjoy ;)
Omg this was my dream as a kid
I'll buy it for $5000
Man kids these days missed out on so much. I had the best time going to these gigs, chilling with my friends and just listening to music. No social media, so good.
One of the best concerts ive ever been to, THE OFFSPRING!!
@Jay Brown Man such a good reprentation of our music, blink 182, POD, MCR, RHCP, Linkin Park you could just slap on the radio and there were some belters.
I just learned how much of a badass Dexter Holland is. PHD in micro biology with published research in HIV. Businessman with his own world renowned hot sauce. Marathon runner. Philanthropist, mainly for those falsely convicted of crimes. Pilot who has flown around the world. The Offspring.
You can't really compete with that... That's why we have heroes.
His uncle is Tom Holland as well. Directed the original Childs Play movie. Talent runs in the family 🥰
Thank you, Dexter Holland.
C'mon mate, there are like 3 other dudes in the band as well.
All Dexter
Doctor Holland***
..
@@santerisalmivuori3872 The Offspring is just Dexter moving really fast
Conspiracy of One
was my first album ever bought and it was on cassette tape, I used to listen to this album when I when to sleep. with some silly behind ear headphones. I miss those days.
Most underrated offspring song ever
I remember 2000. Chrome plastic everything, good movies, even better music. Nothing was the same after 2001.
I grew up listening to them in early 90s kept listening, had kids and now they love the offspring and have come to shows with me rockin out 🤘🏼
Put this song on repeat and TRY to get sick of it. YOU CAN'T. Saw them at the Metro in Chicago on the Ixnay tour. I was near death with the flu, but there was NO WAY I was missing the show. EASILY as good live as in the studio. Top 5 band in my library.
I've seen them twice, once right before covid and once right after.. really enjoyed both shows. Wish I had the means to see them on the Ixnay tour, (my fav album) but I lived out in the sticks
Million miles away after this was made, we are still all here... Home...
Can't believe it's already 19 years i'm listening to it over and over ...
Psionic saaaaaaaaaame
same here too!
Hell yeah I was a freshman in high school jamming to this in the weight room.
I was 20 in 94 when green day and offspring exploded, 17 when we got hit in the face with teen spirit. I always felt lucky to be coming of age then. These bands led me to harder punk and being in a band.
Probably their most underrated song.
Was gonna post the same.
Agree - I always come back to this one
I still can't believe Norm McDonald used to play drums for Offspring! what a multitalented dude!
Just goes to show you how Germans Love David Hasselhoff.
I think the offspring is one of if not the most under rated rock band out there. They just jam, they don't conform to whatever is popular and still just about every one of there songs is a Hitt. They've kept it real and just been themselves ever since they came out. Even ppl that don't like the band can still tell within the first few seconds of one of there songs is the offspring playing it. They just have there own style man. It's awesome. Always a been one of my favorites.
Los mejores son
Punkrock never dies❕
just becomes grandparents i'm 50 still see SLF Greenday 2005 was amazing seen offspring awesome and also The Bronx, never to old to punk rock
Pop punk!
@@michaelhughes8043 ils chantent le punk rock et le pop punk
Punk Rock will always live on my punk rocking amigo!!
This is definitely more like pop punk
Still play offspring on the daily.. so many good albums they've done especially the early stuff. Top top band !
Nice user lol
I love The Offspring self titled Ignition Smash the most Ixnay is awesome Americana though got me into punk and inspired me to form a band. We did a lot of Offspring covers when we started then made our own songs some where pretty good tbh!!
Believe in rock and roll, that's the only religion that will never let you down 😁
It is undeniable, the Offspring always brought maximum energy
There was a time, looking through myself
Wanting to pretend
If I escaped, I could fill myself
I don't think you can
Been far and wide
But that hole inside
Never really leaves
When I went away, what I really left
Left behind was me
It's telling me
To be on my way home
Million miles away
I can't stay
Each passing day, every passing face
Seems like such a blur
I long to be
Home, silently
Lying next to her
Just to get back, by her side is all
All I need to be
Cause I went away
But what I really left
Left behind was me
I need to be
Getting on my way home
A million miles away
Million miles away
I can't take

I really appreciate the hard work you did to put this up and I hope you have a nice night😃
Best song of all time! Reminds me when I was a kid playing Jungle Strike or Desert Strike. Just Epic!
Offspring forever!! They rock the shit still today. Love you guys for Evermore
Love this video u can see the kids in the front row singing thier hearts out! The intensity is unmatched
Think about any extreme sport. This will be for sure the most suitable backing track for it.
Offspring 4ever
20 some years later and it takes me right back to that era! 🤘🎶🖤 Best effn band to have been a fan of since the beginning- love you guys forevermore! 🙏❤🔊
I agree a shout out to the friends I met in Europe from Down under, New South Wales, Queensland, Perth, and Melbourne, Australia and both South and North Islands of New Zealand. Wishing you all the best. Just to far to travel. Loved France Summer 1998.
the drummer(Ron Welty) kicks ass!
Dexter Holland always surprises us
Been listening to The Offspring for 20 years, seeing Dexter sing yanks me back to my first concert as a 19 year old in. the mosh pit.
Ah yes. I’ve heard of the Mosh Pit
Favourite track on my favourite album by these guys. Takes me back to room as a teenager.
Recordando CONSPIRACY OF ONE!!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I was in the middle of secondary school when the album Conspiracy of One was released, such a great memories and fantastic album. This song is also great.
oh oh oh, oh oh oh, punk rock never dies...
Esas mega bandas con las que muchos crecimos y luego de 20 años aún seguimos oyendo como los primeros días! #TheOffSpring
Golden Era!!!
man i miss the 00's music. since 2008 so much has been lacking.
Have you listened to Goodbye June? They're a fairly new rock band, and they're pretty damn awesome, especially when they play a live show.
Haha, you must be even younger than me and I'm only 30. "Since 2008". The lacking happened way earlier than that.
either look harder or open your mind a bit
Offspring is 90s music it just lasted to 00s
Bruh music starting lacking in like 2004-2005
THE OFFSPRING NEVER DIES!!
great song makes me come back over and over
One of my absolute favorites. Been listening for years and it just clicked with me that it sort of sounds like kick him when hes down
Brilliant!!! I adore them!!! They make me happy!! My health now is better listening to them....!!
if your listening to The Offspring in 2024 you were probably a punk in your teen years 🔥
I am in 2024 listening it
An original prankster 😊
They have such a gift for writing these instantly catchy songs. No wonder there music catalog just sold for 35 million$. Not bad for an OC Punk Band lol
高校生の頃にConspiracy Of Oneを買って衝撃を受けました。以来、貴方達はずっと自分の青春です。ありがとう😌サイコー!!
2 hooks in a row, dexter is legend
L'iterally one of the few bands with their songs being ALL AMAZING
combination of verse/music...loves it
My favorite song. Makes me want to light up a joint and skateboard to blockbuster all over again.
A awsome song it never gets old, old guys(like me) can still rock hard!!
Back directly into my adolescence!!! Love it
The Offspring ALWAYS have SICK drummers!
One of the best bands out there.
I wish this song would be part as the greatest hits.
Greatest hits means most popular though.
@@InkyGhoul But, Can't Repeat is not very popular either....
killer tune
20 years + i havnt heard this. , fall on this... all by heart easy as can be . Love music
Still one of my favorite bands...
One day back in the '90s I was driving in my car and this song came on the radio, I called the radio station. Back then you could actually talk to the DJs, I asked him who was the group that just played. It sounded like an Ozzy Osbourne song, the DJ laughed his ass off and said Sharon Osbourne is their manager the group is called The Offspring. From that point on in my mind this is the second greatest group behind the Beatles!
exelent song i like it forever offpring we will never forget you
This is one of the best songs of The Offspring for me
37 and this song still pumps me up!
My favourite song for last 20 years. Thank you Offspring 👍

Ffs this song is madness! Absolutely love it. What a time to be alive when we had music like this! 🤘🏽🤘🏽 build me a time machine and take me back to the turn of the millennium!
Dexter and Noodles both are great guitarist. This is true punk rock band.
Quince años tenía cuando escuché está gran canción de está legendaria banda mis amigos y yo hacíamos deporte escuchando sus temas 😢 que lindos recuerdos
Best song on the most anticipated album of my youth. And the last for the legendary Ron Welty.

One of my favorite bands!
I had this song playing in my Discman when I was flying to Iraq in a C5 Galaxy, January 2003...
gotta love the lockheed
Awesome.
Going for an invasion to kill the bad guys ?
Haha I had sum 41 playing on my disc man. HHC 3/502 ING 101ST Airborne division. I miss the kid I was
@@sozosk10 there was no bad guys to kill just propaganda created by our government Iraq never posed a threat. I sucked sand on 2 different tours for nothing.
Should be in RR hall of fame , been going hard since 89' , WTF
This was always on Kerrang! back in the day, that being when good music still got in the charts
One of those fine things about Punk rock is that some songs can be quite simple and very straightforward ones, yet they hit hard on audience, making them those" always to be remembered" songs. To my humble self, at least. Though I have been corrupted by such music more than three decades..
Exelnt song we will remenver to the offpring forever
Das ist meine Lieblingsband💕💕
