After over two years, the Lightfall campaign comes to end. The party step forth to challenge Korak, tyrant Wyrmking of Bresseras for the thone. Can Adrik and the heroes prevail? What happens to those that survive? All will be revealed along with cheers, laughter and lots of tears. The BRAND NEW campaign begins July 1st with a brand new world, brand new characters and many more wild adventures.

For me, it was just a Tuesday
I like to think that Cam lived to a ripe old age before passing away in a terrible grape incident. Reports of the tragic event are hazy, but by all eyewitness accounts it was both magnificent and hilarious, just how Cam would have wanted.
damn Reynard held his own against that dragon. He'd probaly be the best bull rider ever.

I started aerois before watching this and homahgawd Mark's description at the end gave me chills

Just seen the stats and Elora hasn't been KO'd even once over the space of 2 Years! Circle of the moon really is overpowered.
It's not just her class. She also has unusually high constitution.
RokuroCarisu I know, I meant it more as a joke really. And high constitution would definitely be a contributing factor along with play style.
As wonderful as Aerois is, sometimes I just take a moment to appreciate the campaign that got these idiots rolling. God, I loved Lightfall so much.

I can't believe I've reached the end! I started watching this campaign when I first moved in with my girlfriend 4 years ago, since then I have had this on in the background of starting my dream job, buying my first house and for a long, long time - working to do up my house from a wreck to something I'm very proud of. Thank you for doing all this and being part of my life for this time!

Thank you all so much for the amazing journey! The closure we got was amazing, and the finality of it definitely had me feeling very emotional for the rest of the day, like a close friend of mine had just moved away forever, but gone to a better place. I'll never forget the joy this story brought to me.

Endings are sad but as endings go, this one had so much love in it. So looking forward to Campaign 2
The last hour shows what a simple game can do to improve peoples morale, if you're having a bad time or in a rough spot finding a gaming group can make you laugh so hard you cry, so conflicted you dont know what you'd do in real life, get so emotional that it makes you feel it for days after but it forges memories that will last into the future. If in doubt - give it a try, it costs nothing but a bit of time.
This campaign is what got me through my GCSEs and my A levels and as it ends so does the period of my life that it was present for. I very rarely cry but this finale made me cry, to see all the characters achieve their goals and to live a happy life is amazing. Thank you Mark, Kim, Katie, Trott, Tom and all the guests that ever played for making a wonderful universe and characters and for being the thing that got me through the last few years of my life. They've been some of the toughest times in my life but this has been something that has helped me.

Man, this finale was dope. Although i love how Elora throughout the dragon fight was complaining about not being able to do anything with range, when she has a magical relic bow that she always forgets about. Feels like now in Aerois she's doing a lot better with having less abilities to remember and think about with Ayla

Genuine tears. Thank you guys so much for the best 2 years of my life. This has been the first two summers in my 19 or so years of life that i havent dealt with depression at all, and its largely in part of you guys proving to me that a wonderful, incredible community stands behind dnd. I just.... i dunno, i guess all i can say is... is it july yet?
It was long over when I started watching but this one of the best things iv ever watched thank you all long live cam!

CONGRATULATIONS! Everyone and I mean EVERYONE of you deserves a round of applause. Seriously best D&D campaign ever! Kim, Tom, Mark, Matt, Smith, and Katey, all of you sold the story better than Critical Roll, in my opinion. even IF matt mercer himself was DM. Hats are off, the knees are bent, the head's bowed, and the heart-wrenched. Bring on the next chapter and another adventure!

I have finally finished the lightfall campaign... It took me too long, but I always enjoyed watching... Now, to see what else I have missed for all this years
What a finale for a wonderful two year campaign! I wanted to thank mark and the whole high rollers cast for an amazing 2 year campaign. I wasn’t there from the beginning but once I started watching I was hooked. I’ve really enjoyed the world and the characters in this campaign. Mark you are a great DM and you are an excellent story teller. And the players made every episode fun and interesting. That was a really sad ending but it was good too. I don’t blame you guys for tearing up, especially mark. I am very excited for the next d&d campaign ^^
From day one this has been the best DnD series, couldn't be happier with how it ended
I don’t think i have ever commented before but I think I need to. I started watching HighRollers nearly 2 years ago now and it has made these years all the more better. The finale was amazing and now I can start Aerois after all this time. Thank you Mark and everyone for an amazing journey!

Absolutely amazing!! Mark, you have changed my life with introducing me to D&D. I have made so many friends DMing and have spent so much time diving into the world of D&D. I'm slowly but surely writing the Lightfall Campaign into my own to run with my friends, they love it. I can't thank you all enough.
Can't believe it's been two years. I'm not sure, but I'm fairly sure it was Kim who got me into watching the videos way back when, since I was watching her in Flux Buddies. It's been a wonderful ride, and an emotional finale. Look forward to the next campaign.
I never got to watch an episode live, having been behind. But from binge watching upwards of 3 episodes a day for the last weeks, and about an episode a day for the last half year, I finally made it to the finale before the new campaign. Watching you all losing your minds from the donations brought such joy to me, seeing the disbelief and the love you have all put into this. To the crew that kept the services running, Nina for the art, and the Yogs for hosting, and all of us fellow nerds for promoting, thank you all for such brilliant light. Your stories have been read and will be remembered alongside the other greats like that of Matthew Mercer and crew. Thank you again, and I trust planning for the 1st will go well.
Mark, Kim, Trott, Katie, and Tom thank you all for these last two years of amazing storytelling. It has been such a journey seeing you and your characters grow and change. There is no end to the joy and inspiration that this has given me, you and critical role helped my sister and I get into d&d 5e bringing us closer together than we have ever been. Much respect Mark. Sorry I cannot watch live from the Colonies, but I always catch up on the Yogscast here. I couldn't donate, but got a shirt headed to me. It was a great story line. You and Mercer have really gotten me excited about 5th Edition (I was primarily a 2nd edition steadfast, and it is still my main campaign). Hats off to Katie. She is the true allstar on the PC team. She knows her shit and always comes through, even when the dice fail to assist. Soft spot in my heart for Kim. Jiutou is a badass! Really had fun, and I look forward to shouting at the screen every time Trot does something that should TPK the whole team but somehow doesn't!

my god that donation train was insane. I feel so bad cause I eventually did catch up earlier in the year but fell behind again. And im only now finishing this. This campaign has meant a lot to me and has been honestly one of my biggest inspirations getting into DnD and even getting all of my friends into it too. This is super late, but thanks so much Mark and the rest of the players for such genuine moments. Mark youve been a really big inspiration for me as a new DM. Cant wait for campaign 2. ughhhhh so bittersweet!
