- An 80-year-old woman, the wife of a freedom fighter, was locked inside her house in Manipur's Serou village, and set on fire by an armed group, according to a case filed at the Serou Police Station. Her husband, S Churachand Singh, who died at 80, was a freedom fighter who was honored by former President APJ Abdul Kalam. Broadband services were resumed in Manipur on Tuesday with specific conditions and an undertaking to be signed by the users, the state's home department said in an order.

I'm from Aizawl, Mizoram...to tell you the truth, no Meitei is/was in danger and no harm was coming to them. We Mizo are not savages. Meitei of Mizoram are far more safer here in Mizoram than in their own state.
Yes, we are angry at what we see happening against our brothers & Sisters in Manipur. But it doesn't mean we are going to harm them or take revenge. Harming them means we are no different. We Mizo people are peaceful people, killing or taking lives isn't our nature. The statement made by PAMRA, as a Mizo we had to respect them. So, we allowed the Meitei's to leave peacefully and like I said even if they don't leave, they were in no danger and no harm was ever coming to them.

It was a rather peaceful solidarity march, the state of Mizoram is not boiling as you put the headlines with that dramatic music. There is no unrest happening, do not make it look as if things are escalating. There's no violent disturbance, just a peaceful rally.

talk about dramatic music and sensationalizing words... the march was peaceful and well organized. there was singing and prayers and a some chants.. "Exodus" "Threatened", I don't think think these are the words the Meitei's leaving Mizoram would have used. The Meitei's who had to leave would gladly come back, they were assured safety wither they choose to stay or leave, but due to the number of displaced Kuki zo that Mizoram has had to aid, the community and state were more concerned for the safety of the small population of Meitei's in Mizoram and as a precaution they were ADVISED to leave for the time being until the situation can be fixed. If the Manipur CM and his militia had not caused a civil war between the communities they would be happily and peacefully still living in Mizoram like everyone else

the news anchor is giving traumatising questions... i live in Aizawl and the people of Mizoram are peace loving, just they march in solidarity against the brutal killings and rape of the tribals in manipur, mass exodus has indeed happened, but no meitei were threatened though.. the letter that ask them to exit, the letter was misinterpreted. The news anchore says is completely wrong. People of Mizoram never trigger the conflict. News chsnels also should keep some balanced views in the news headlines.

The Kuki Christian villages were destroyed systematically by the armed Meiti Hindu mobs with thousands of weapons given to them by the State . Despite all the genocide very few perpetrators of crimes have not been arrested but instead protected by BJP State leaders . These leaders must be arrested immediately for crimes against humanity.

But Manipur govt is not worried for etnic community who are killed by meitei mob.
